Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House

The location was great. The CVS accross the street was great for the incidentals we needed. We were able to walk to several restaurants and it was a short walk to the train. Used the train to get to the hotel from the airport and to get back and forth to all the sights. Breakfast had a good variety.. Room was a good size.

The hotel advertises the rooftop terrace and the great views. However, it was not accessible the 3 days we were there. We booked this hotel with the expectation of being able to enjoy the views and that was not the case. While it seems small, it was disappointing since it is something that I felt was advertised as a perk; wish they had advertised it more clearly that it is not necessarily something guests can access readily.

The hotel is quite new and its location is great. It’s literally around the corner from the White House. The included breakfast was decent. The room size was great, it was great to have a separate seating area.

The noise. Everything there was quite audible loud club music being played nearby. I don’t know if it’s coming from the same building as the hotel or from a nearby protection. But it was audible. It was no surprised that ear plugs were provided.

Almost everything was awesome! The absence of BACON during breakfast was our only complaint. The staff was awesome! Kudos to Chrystallyn, Madeleine, Lois, Jazmine, Mis. Tee, Delontea, Alonzo and the gentleman of African decent which I can't remember his name. Especially to Chrystallyn. She went above and beyond for us in every way possible to make our stay enjoyable. She helped us with reservations at the restaurant next door. She went over there to do that. What I remember most about her was her continuous smile throughout our entire stay there. 😀

The only complaint within my traveling group was the breakfast. There was no BACON 🥓 served at all as promised! The first day, the meat served was uncooked corn beef hash. Second through the fourth day, link sausage 🌭 was served. We had grown desperately tired of it. We, along with others started complaining about the absence of BACON 🥓.

It was super close to museums and things to do. We walked everywhere.

There was a homeless encampment less than a block away that I was not aware of. I felt uncomfortable walking with my toddler at night time, but that’s a me problem.

Good staff, quiet room and place if location , good breakfast and you do don’t say anything when we take extra ,

Short breakfast time , no room cleaning, you have to pay for water and drinks but there is no sign that says that and they don’t tell you but they put the payment with your room number and charge after wards

I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, with all of the amenities that I needed to feel right at home. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to all of the attractions and activities in the area. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Breakfast was very crowded and didn't offer all the options on all the days we stayed there.

Very clean and had everthing we needed. The barthroom door did not close well but it was ok as we went as a family. The buffet breakfast was great!!!

The valet parking was more expensive for us for having an SUV :(

Location. Close to White House. We walked to Washington and Lincoln Memorials. Georgetown 🛍 🏬 and Smithsonian National Zoo a close drive away. Breakfast was good. I wish there was parking at hotel but valet parking was full. Luckily I found a parking spot. Was a weekend so able to keep car in one spot without problem But afraid to lose spot so activities were based on walking distance..Room was clean and nicely appointed.

Limited parking at hotel hut we were lucky to find a spot near hotel. Would have gone to upstairs bar if served food. Posting said only served alcohol drinks. Thunderstorm caused damage so Smithsonian zoo was closed next day but no fault of hotel. Zoo is close drive distance to hotel. No pool or hot tub but our focus was location and breakfast although would have given an extra activity.

location was great. Got a great rate on the room. staff were really friendly, helpful. Any request we had for the room, simple stuff, they got to us in a matter of 10-15 minutes. room was large. liked the little sitting area.

the upkeep of the room wasn't great. It was clean, but it needed some repairs. one of the dressers drawers was broken and would keep sliding open on it's own. the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, the faucet the showerhead in the bathroom was loose. not much of a view

The location is super convenient to visit many tourist sites and monuments. The room is clean and breakfast is very good with many options to choose. Especially the service, the staff is very friendly. The reception is very friendly who always with a smile. I was traveling by myself with a very big suitcase. The porter volunteered to help me with the luggage. Thank you so much!

A ventilator system was surrounded by the building of this hotel. But the window was well isolated. If you are very sensitive with noises and you live on a lower floor, it is recommended to bring a pair of earplugs in case of any noises. When I lived there, it was not an issue.
