The Lodge at Columbia Point

the water views, the accessibility of the river, the docks, and the beaches, enjoyed the walkway along the water that led into the city. also enjoyed the food in the restaurant and helpful room services and hotel staff.

it was a lot closer to other streets and businesses than I expected, was thinking it was more secluded before I got there. also felt that the honor basket system was pretty confusing because it made it seem like I had to pay to use some things like wine glasses or bathrobes. i had to call the front desk multiple times to confirm that I could use certain items without charge. was also a bit disappointed there weren't any brochures or a booklet of local restaurants or activities that I could refer to as some lodgings provide.

It's an excellent location. There's a good view of the river and great local restaurants, including the Lodge's, all within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. The walk-in shower was great. Comfortable robes and towels were provided. A big plus to us was that the room had glass cocktail and wine glasses.

While the quality of most everything at the Lodge was excellent, inexplicably they really cut the quality on the room's toilet paper. We also seemed to have an electrical gremlin in our room. I had an issue with the television not turning on or off reliably (up to five minutes of attempting at times). The staff provided me with new remote-control batteries, but that did not fix the issue. Also, the telephone message light started blinking each evening even though there was no message.

Last time I stayed here they had complimentary breakfast which was wonderful! The gal waited on us was so friendly and truly complemented this hotel! This time we found out when we got here that they did away with the breakfast! What a big disappointment! Some may not think that’s a big deal but to me it was a pleasant and added feature which helped me pick this hotel! Not a deal breaker but still..... there are other hotel who offer complimentary breakfast so I think next time we may give them a try! To offer it and then in less than a year take it away just shows maybe service doesn’t count as much as it used too! Hmmmmmm. The view is wonderful! Pretty and peaceful!!

I’ve stayed at this property many times before, usually a couple of times per year. The hotel and staff never disappoint us, even after having stayed so many times before. The hotel manager went above and beyond during this stay and didn’t go unnoticed. There is a reason why The Lodge has been our favorite hotel to stay nationwide and internationally.

The room size was very nice, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The amenities and room service were also very good. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a choice of wines to buy in the room, and the wine quality was excellent.

For the price, it would have been nice to have one complimentary water per guest rather than charge $5 per bottle.

This hotel is just the perfect size and is in a beautiful location and is gorgeous! There is a pathway outside the hotel that follows the river. In one direction is a park and in the other a boat launch and tiny beach. Great people watching! The rooms are perfect! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great value as well. I can’t wait to go back!!

Nothing. It is THE BEST!

Everything, the room was amazing, the bed was perfect, the soaking tub was great, the shower was great! I only wish I could find more places like this. I especially want to thank the man that came and fixed the AC in our room from making a squeaky noise twice. He was super fast, professional and kind. He was also the staff member that checked me in and was great at that as well. Over all a wonderful experience!

The AC making noise and the TV should be a smart TV you can use with streaming.

We enjoyed the breakfast. I ordered the Wine Country Omelet. The flavor of the brisket along with its texture was perfect. The country potatoes were great texture and flavor. Our favorite part was the jetted tub and fireplace along with the comfy mattress and views from balcony. We.will definitely want to return to try massage services and enjoy the pool and hot tub amenities.

There were some drunken male voices out in the hallway after the new years festivities were over. It lasted a bit but eventually people went inside there room or left. It was priced high because of the day of the week. I would come back on a Sunday or Monday for Valentines day or during the spring on a weeknight when I have time off for a special rate. Next time I look forward to eating dinner there. We ended up going to Lu Lu's since we knew there was a New Years party happening at the Lodge.

Beautiful property overall. With a few tweaks this could be the perfect hotel. Love the feather pillows! Walking distance to some good dining. We weren’t able to take advantage of the bikes unfortunately... would have been nice to ride the path next to the river.

The bed was too firm for my liking, though my daughter enjoyed. The pool is outside, and though it is heated, was still too cold for me and my daughter this time of year. The hot tub is a really warm bath, but not as hot as I like. To get to the pool area we had to walk through the lobby and right past those dining (or waiting to be seated) in the restaurant. I definitely felt a little out of place as I’m walking past nicely dressed people with my robe on. Just seemed like a bad layout.

Great location and very helpful staff. Enjoyed the amenities of the pool, on-site spa, loaner bikes, and the great nearby restaurants!

Thought the rooms were shown as bigger with a separate sitting area and a real balcony. The bathroom had plenty of shelving and drawer space but lacked hanging space for towels and bathing suits.
