The manor was a beautiful setting. We got in late but served ourselves some tea before bed. Our suite was comfortable and relaxing. The main part of the home was beautiful. I wish we could have just stayed around and read books in the library but we had commitments. The breakfasts were delicious and we sat on the back porch enjoying them with cappuccinos made by the staff. There is a beautiful park just a few blocks from the manor with some amazing history to check out. Downtown is 5 min. Away. The area is such a quiet and peaceful setting. The place is meticulously maintained. We felt very lucky to have found this place. The staff was very gracious and informative. We highly recommend Cecil Bacon Manor get away if you are interested in staying in a vintage historical place.

There is just one word necessary to describe this place: PERFECT. The rooms are cosy and quiet. Breakfast is great - enjoy having it together with the other guests at the big table in the breakfast room. The landlord is a perfect host. And the manor is located in probably the most beautiful neighbourhood of Seattle. Capitol Hill with its shops, bars, restaurants and parks is fun to explore by foot. On the same hand the manor is easy to reach from the airport by riding the 1 Line, same is true for reaching downtown. We loved staying here and really hope to come back one day.

I was very happily surprised by the manor, it felt wonderfully comfortable and welcoming. The owners and staff were great, and it was fun to meet the other guests over breakfast. It’s worth bringing a helmet and using rental scooters to get around! The bus and trains were also nearby, and they make it easy to get around without having to drive

I have no issues with anything in the manor. The nearby commercial district was interesting but had a glaring drug problem, but it might just be normal for a city if this size

Excellent communication via whatsapp, made it super easy even though we arrived late. Super friendly host, who made a nice breakfast and fixed our toilet issues in a trice. Would definitely stay again, and next time would plan to spend more time lounging at the B&B for some of the time - the library and lounge room looked very inviting but we had so many plans already!

we had one issue with a blocked toilet but David fixed immediately and was a darling! Thank you for a delightful stay, my mum and I loved it :)

David was a wonderful host. We felt like we were staying with a friend -- in a comfortable and elegant setting. Somehow this inn was both tucked away in a tree-lined neighborhood and at the same time also conveniently close to a bus stop. Breakfast was tasty, our room was lovely, and we enjoyed petting Tchaikovsky, the resident dog. In the evenings, my daughter loved playing the grand piano in the living room while I sat on the comfy sofa wrapped in a blanket. So relaxing!

It is a very nice house beautifully and elegantly decorated. David was kind and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Inclusively he made us a discount for a minor problem that we had with the flusher. Everything was great during the 3 days we stayed there. Nice idea of assembling all guests in a large table for breakfast allowing them to interact with each other.

The only thing that he might improve would be a slight more diversity in breakfast

Absolutely excellent service! We felt like we were home. A service staff was invisible but everything was done in time and perfectly. Every breakfast was different and delicious. We had a choice between multiple pillows with different sizes and softness. The bed was comfortable. We always can get anything we need. The cleanest and silent atmosphere. All landmarks within walking distance

The owner/staff were excellent hosts, helpful, available, and personable. Breakfast was served at a communal dining table, not set up as a buffet, giving the guests an opportunity to get acquainted. The coffee was strong and delicious. The garden offered a park like respite from busy tourist adventures. I would return to this fine Manor in a heartbeat. The Manor is a historic home, has no elevators, a cozy library, and family room. It is meticulously maintained.

The Mānor felt like home. The staff was friendly. There was nothing we didn’t like about it.

Such a beautiful place to stay! We were in the Carriage House. We had an early flight into Seattle and actually checked in at 11am. So accommodating! The breakfast each morning was a delight. Great coffee, a beautifully set table, and a delicious hot breakfast. We also really enjoyed Capitol Hill. Gorgeous neighborhood within walking distance to coffee shops and great restaurants.

Beautiful property with a great location and very friendly staff. It has everything you can ask for! The breakfast area is incredibly beautiful and well preserved, it almost feels like travelling back in time. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit Seattle!

Honestly, everything was just perfect. This is so much nicer than a standard generic hotel
