Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2

The staff were available 24 hours and were always polite and friendly. Jim at the front desk introduced us to many tours, but due to schedule changes, we asked him to help us book a private car to Ninh Binh. I don't have streaming data on my phone as I was only in Vietnam for a short few days. The staff provided a great paper map so I could easily find my way around and they gave me directions using it. The location of the hotel in the old town is excellent. I can easily walk to many attractions in Hanoi and there are restaurants and some small shops nearby. The morning breakfast buffet has some delicious items.

The elevator is not air-conditioned and not available at the lobby level.

The staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr Jim (not sure if that's how he spells his name) from the front desk. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our visit to the country. He helped us book a tour at a very good price and due to a ship problem, he upgraded us to another bigger, higher class ship with great service without any extra charge.

The hotel has a nice location, convenient to go to the center and the church. staff is always friendly and smiling. Jimmy helps me find a good restaurant and book grab.

We came to Royal palace hotel straight off a 12 hour flights and we were warmly welcomed by Max manager who showed us to our upgraded balcony room. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable and great shower. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious food, fantastic variety and excellent coffee. Max was so helpful in organising for us a private tour Sapa and even while we weren’t staying at Royal palace hotel anymore, he kept in contact and made sure we arrived safely in Sapa. The location of the hotel is very convenient with lot of good restaurants nearby. The people in the hotel are very friendly (Jim), who gave us some ideas to where to go for 2 days 1 night in Hanoi.

Breakfast had a great selection and we all found lots of delicious food to start our day. The staff was really organized and were quick to resupply the food and get you anything you needed. The first room had some issues but the staff came up and addressed them perfectly. Location was a short walk to everything we wanted to do. The area felt safe and the staff were all eager to help make our stay/trip better. Max especially went out of his way to ensure a great stay. He advised us on some tours and helped organize our trip to the airport. We trusted Max and he didn't let us down.

Everything was as expected or better.

I really like the staff. Tommy, Max and Alex were really friendly and is always checking in with me to see if I need help. The location of the hotel is also really close to many attractions!

Top location in the Old Quarter next to Night market (weekend) lots of coffee shops, restaurants and supermarket. Busy area with traffic. The room was perfect for a family with 3 kids. Everyone has his own bed. Max is a great hotelmanager and the staff is very kind and helpful. We also booked a trip to Halong Bay and to Nim Bingh. Well organized. Comfortable and luxury pick up and the cruise with V-Spirit cruises was outstanding. Staff was very good and professional. Peter (Parker ;-)) is a very funny guy. Prices are better than online and same as bookings offices in Hanoi.

Everything was great

This is our second stay at this property and we were very pleased with everything. The staff are exceptional and made our stay the best it could be. They were friendly and helpful in every way. When we left for the train station Zim (Jim?) got us in our taxi and then he miraculously showed up at the train station to meet us and make sure we got to the right gate! It was like magic! Max set us up on a 2 night stay in Sapa, which turned out to be lovely. We stayed at the Freesia Hotel and the staff there were very nice and helpful as well. We were set up with a lovely tour guide for the two days and got to see a lot around the area. I would highly recommend MaiMai for a tour guide.
