La Mejor Hotel & Sky Bar

It’s a beautiful hotel very clean and the staff are excellent The Le major rooms are on the 8th floor(top) they are beautiful with a lovely big room(they are not suites though ) they and a lovely free standing bath But I wouldn’t reccomend having them go for the 7th floor. reason below

The breakfast room is above the Le Mejor rooms and every morning we were woken up around 5-30am by the staff getting the breakfast ready they were quite noisy but worst of all 1 person wore high heeled shoes and clip clopped above us from 5.30am to 10.15am when breakfast was finished driving us insane. Hopefully the hotel will take this on board and tell the staff they have to wear soft healed shoes and just keep the noise down when talking. if this was down the hotel would be exceptional

Du and his team were true highlight of our stay. They were always very friendly, responsive and Du personally ensured that our stay in Hanoi was comfortable. He also has great recommendations for local food around the area. The property was very convenient, a couple of minutes from the Hoan Kiem Lake and right smack in the middle of the Beer Street bustle.

Nothing in particular, the team was able to provide us with a room facing away from Beer Street so we barely heard any noise from the chaos below, so do take note of that!

we could hear the people in the next room a bit too well. maybe the sound proofing between adjourning doors leaves a bit to be desired.

Thank you to all the staff that made our trip amazing. We had a lot of struggle not necessarily related to the hotel and they helped us every time. Han and Jane are two or the names I remember but everyone was on top of their help game. Warm welcomes, good breakfast, amazing rooftop, I can't stress that enough. Sadly we didn't try the restaurant outside of breakfast hours, I'm sure the food is great. Those cocktails were succulent, the room is quite spacious, AC works well. And the bed is the best we've had in Hanoi, good sleep 😴. Will definitely come back

I think a bit more variety for the pastries and drinks at the breakfast would be nice. I also was a bit confused as I had booked what I believed was the executive room with street window and a shower but the hotel manager guaranteed me I didn't. Not sure what happened there since the executive was cheaper on booking. It's alright though, still amazing value, I'm just not a fan of internal Windows (they are in every hotel in Hanoi because of the architecture)

Fantastic place to stay in a great location. As others have mentioned, it is right on the busy beer street, but my room and probably many others are located far away from the noise and I didn’t hear any of it. The room was very clean and modern, and while there were windows, I couldn’t really see anything which is OK because I was mostly in the room to sleep. The breakfast area is on the ninth floor and the Sky bar is on the 10th and 11th floors, so there is easy access to amazing views of the city! The breakfast in the morning was really good with a huge variety of western and Asian options.

The location is perfect. You‘re in the centre of the old quarter so you can visit everything within a few steps. Even if there’s a lot going on in that street,especially on the evening,you couldn‘t hear a thing from inside the rooms since we were located in the back of the hotel (where most of the rooms are located). It was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff is very nice and tries everything to make the guests feel welcomed. Since we had to leave before breakfast to get to the airport,the staff offered us a doggibag. Any help we needed: information on our next stay at another hotel, organising a driver to get somewhere,any questions,they‘d do everything to satisfy our needs.

If I had to change one thing it would be the offer of the breakfast. Since I‘m not the one eating salted in the morning,I was left a bit disappointed in the variatioun of the breakfast-buffet. If you like Phò or other viatnamese dishes for breakfast,you‘ll be well served :).

At first me and my frnds didny expect much from our trip but all the hotel staff especialy Manager Du did extra mile with their hospitality services !! So surprised by how wonderful their care & hospitality towards us since day one to the very last day of our trip! Points that stand out the most during our trip was - their Warm welcome, always smile always greet us and offer help anytime even the midnight shift staff! - Prompt response! They even gave us Recommendation places list on our first day here to help us figure amazing restaurants & cafes arnd the hotel! - they took extra care of us when sick, prompt answer of pharmacy recommendations and EVEN OFFERED US GINGER TEA right away ! 🫶🏼 - they always happy and prompt to Help to call grab taxi - last but not least, they OFFERED FIRST to get us EARLY check in when we were so tired when we arrived at the hotel due to midnight flight we took 🥹😭🙏🏼🤍 AND not only that, when i asked for additional charge of late check out, manager Du EVEN OFFERED US FREE late check out for 1.5 hrs 😭🙏🏼 They DEF did EXTRA MILES with their hospitality services ! DEF RECOMMENDED & will stay here again on our next trip to Hanoi!

everything was great! But if theres one thing to improve, maybe hotel can improve to fix the shower water pressure to be a bit more strong & fix the drain.

The location was great, easily accessible to many eateries, SPA and massage shops. It is located within Beer Street. Breakfast was good with a varied variety, enjoyed the Pho. Room was a bit small but still acceptable. Staff service was excellent, very attentive and are able to converse fairly well in English. Would like to extend our thanks to the Manager - Sophie. she was always ready to lend a helping hand. On our last day, the transport failed to fetch us from the hotel, Sophie reacted quickly and offered to book another transport to the airport. Really must express our thanks to her else, we would have missed our flight. Tung from the breakfast team was attentive to our needs. Stephanie always greeted us with a wide smile.. they are truly a gem, hospitable and welcoming. Made our trip to Hanoi - a memorable and enjoyable one. Love the Sky Bar, lovely view

Water pressure from the shower head is weak, need to take a longer time to shower.

The hotel was in the center of Ta Hien (Beer) Street. The weekend nightlife came into full swing and you are in the thick of it. Extremely convenient for food and drinks! The sound proofing in the hotel is excellent, so you do not hear any disturbances of the night life. You can login to Netflix/Youtube in your room with the smart TV provided.

The roads around the night market are closed in the weekend. You will need to (Grab) drop off a short distance away (I chose Ma May street) and walk back ~50m to the hotel. The WiFi in my room (Level 3) also dropped a few times.

This hotel has recently undergone extensive renovations and they have done a great job. Staff went out of their way for us, room was huge, as was the bed, and it was the most comfortable we have slept in whilst in Asia. We even had a complimentary platter of fruit in our room. Great care has been taken to soundproof the rooms as the hotel is on 'beer street', which is a fun place to enjoy a cold drink or two and watch the world go by, but it can get a little noisy.

Apart from a little noise the first night from some noisy neighbours, nothing. It was a relaxing, pleasant stay and we were made to feel very welcome.
