Staff were perfect! A super efficient and hard working team who aim to make sure their guests are happy. The location was good. In the old quarter. A short walk to the lake and many shops and restaurants at your door step. Quiet at night though! The breakfast was very good and made to order, staff making sure you were full and getting you more to eat if not. It was also one of the nicest looking breakfast rooms we had! Looked like a fine dining restaurant with nice music playing and all. The hotel room itself was quite basic and comfortable enough. Not as pretty as the pictures, but functional overall. We stayed 3 nights in total. Two nights in this room and one in a deluxe double. We actually preferred the layout of the deluxe double room that we had on the first night, over this junior balcony room (we only moved because we extended last minute and the doubles were sold out). The double had much more floor space for our luggage etc, it just had a smaller bathroom and no balcony or window. I would happily choose this hotel again if I was to stay in the old quarter.

The shower was a bit awkward to work out, also had to step in and out of a slightly high bathtub. Power points near bed didn't work. Room not as nice or big as in the pictures.

This hotel is in a great location and excellent value for money. The staff are just amazing and will do anything to help you in any way. They also organised our laundry and car to Mai Châu. Just would recommend taking ear plugs if street noise bothers you whilst sleeping, but the noise just adds to the ambience 😉 Would highly recommend this hotel 😊

We had 2 different Junior suites and I must admit that it that it was a little disappointing that the rooms with balconies are not as advertised. Quite dark with wooden doors and small windows above rather than light and airy with the large French doors as advertised. However, the rooms are perfectly acceptable 👌

Despite being in the old quarter the rooms were quiet as was the air conditioning, they are well appointed ; the refrigerator chilled quickly and the wifi connected easily and was stable. The staff were friendly and helpful. You are in an alleyway off one of the busier roads in the old quarter an easy walk to the lake and the water puppet theatre. A great place to shop and eat.

Its not always an easy place to find especially the entrance to the alleyway which alters in appearance during the day as various enterprises alter their advertising. A minimart is a bit of a walk away and the old quarter is somewhat of a magnet for scam artists. Prices at the more expensive restaurants do NOT include service charges and a government tax so the total may come as a shock. Pick up and drop off from tours can be a trial.

Staffs are extremely friendly and always smilely. Their breakfast selection is better than hotels which serve buffet style, and it taste great too! Location is just right in the old quarter which makes it very convenient to walk everyone.

The hotel needs major repairs and maintenance. Door lock is faulty. The room shown in the photos are different from reality. The window is wooden which cannot be opened because it is too near to the opposite building. I booked normal double room for my first night here and junior suites for subsequent nights. However, the junior suites look smaller.

Location was excellent, close to all the main sights in the Old Quarter. It was tucked away in an alley so a bit quieter than I imagine many of the other options are. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and we appreciated the western options!

Our room didn’t look quite as nice as the photos and the bathroom was a bit run down. I think this may have been due to our room being in the older tower, but not sure. Also, even though it was in the alley, there was still a bit of noise from the street in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing earplugs.

Exceptional staff - special shoutout for David, the front office manager, who arranged so many things for us including a food tour, our Halong Bay cruise and transfers to the airport, all at competitive rates. The location - stone's throw away from the lake, beer street, phenomenal food options right outside the hotel. Rooms in the new tower - modern design, clean fixtures, comfortable beds. We received an upgrade to the new tower when we extended our stay Facilities- the hotel allowed us to store our bags in their cloak room while we went to Halong

Perfect location and very spacious room. The bathroom also had a good amount of space and even had a drying rack that we used for some sensitive laundry we did ourselves. They let us keep our bags there while we left for a 3 day trip no charge and brought the bags up to our room when we decided to check in again. Consistently friendly service.

The room wasn’t always incredibly clean but that was taken care by the day cleaning. In our second stay we stayed in the first floor and the Wi-Fi didn’t work very well in the room and there was no service at all so we couldn’t use data either. Out first stay on the fourth floor was flawless tho so learn from our experience!

Perfect location in the heart of everything but nice and quiet down a lane. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves were lovely and clean and freshly decorated.

I stayed in a few different rooms and all the en-suite bathrooms were dated and the showers a bit awkward. In one of the rooms there was a really loud noise coming from the bathroom on and off throughout the night. Think it might have been a water heater or something.

Lovely hotel in a great location and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the Junior Suite is not as shown in pictures online. No large glassed windows and patio doors. Only a small window above solid wooden doors, so the room is a lot darker. Also, if you can't sleep with noise, take earplugs! But it all adds to the ambience. Definitely recommend this hotel 😊

This charming hotel was in a perfect location--within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. When they celebrated the New Year, we were able to walk around the corner to see the fireworks over the lake. We loved the breakfast. They gave us a good information sheet for navigating Hanoi, and everyone was very helpful.

Wifi was a little bit spotty.
