Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa

We booked a junior suite for 5 days and it was nothing less than amazing! The room was as how it looks in the photos, very clean and still looks new! The bed was super comfortable, and the aircon was super cold (loved it)! The skybar at the rooftop had an extremely good view of the old quarters, and was very windy despite it being super hot everywhere else. The service was definitely 5-star worthy. The receptionist (Huong Nyugen) who welcomed us gave us a list of food recommendations, and when I came back one afternoon with a stomachache, she spotted it instantly and delivered a cup of hot ginger tea up to my room! The bar staff at Moonlight Skybar (special shoutout to Tuan Le) were also really welcoming and they too make the effort to remember every customer!

Only drawback was the wifi which wasn’t working on some days. Other than that, location was also super good, less than 5min walk from the beer street. I highly recommend this hotel! It’s worth every penny!

The staff and food and the room was amazing and wonderful. Quynh Anh was so friendly and very personable. We felt instantly welcomed the moment we came in the door as if we weren’t in a different country or a place unknown to us. The other people who traveled with me had glowing remarks the moment they opened the door to our room and the view was very nice. I slept soundly and truly the staff made the experience so memorable that I would come back and stay there again, especially to be greeted by hosts like Quynh Anh. I will never forget Hanoi!!

AMAZING location right in heart of old quarter. The staff at this hotel were exceptional and went above and beyond on several occasions. They go out of their way to make sure that you are well cared for and having the best holiday ever. They offered to go to pharmacy with me and translate for me. So not necessary as they spoke english but so kind and helpful. I cannot say enough about them. The breakfast is great and varied. The location is perfect and I walked to all attractions. There is even a great rooftop bar. I would return in a heartbeat.

It is extremely unusual for me to say this but I could not possibly improve on experience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and this was seen throughout the hotel, whether the receptionist counter staff, the wait staff in the restaurant, the staff at the rooftop bar or the doormen. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a wide variety of options. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable, and more than big enough for 2 persons.

A pool would have been great! The other issue was that there was a fair amount of noise from other hotel guests and housekeeping. it was muffled, but still loud enough to wake me up in the mornings. Maybe the problem was that i was put on a low floor and just opposite the spa area, so the through traffic along that corridor was high. Surprisingly, there wasn't that much street noise, so the external insulation was very good.

The staff are wonderful and very attentive from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Hung was amazing in providing us with recommendations and contacting us on our departure evening even though she had finished work for the day. Duc the waiter was also wonderful in looking after us everytime we ate at the restaurant and remembering us. We were offered a room upgrade after our 1st night which we took up the offer. The staff also packed us a snack box for the airport as we had a midnight international flight home. The staff seem to enjoy what they are doing and work well as a team.

The room and bathroom is on the smaller side which made it a little bit hard to store 2 bigger sized suitcases in the room. The bath towels could also be a little bit bigger (not a big deal)

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa. The hotel is located in the heart of Old Quarter, just a short walk to Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The rooms are stylish, with modern amenities and beautiful decor. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa. It is a great place to stay if you're looking for a stylish, luxurious, and centrally-located hotel in Hanoi. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

The rooms could have been bigger but the smaller size is to be expected in this part of the city.

The hotel is very elegant and comfortable. The design of the hotel is very unique. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We met Chi Le at the front desk when we checked in. She speaks vietnamese and English fluently, because our daughter doesn't understand vietnamese. She had to speak both languages to us. She was patiently went over everything we needed to know about the hotel and also pointed out all the interesting places on a little map that we should consider visiting in Hai noi. That was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this is a place to stay while you are in Hanoi to make your trip more enjoyable and memorable.

The hair dryer is a little weak. I missed the hotel staff already. They are humble and lovely.

Fantastic service, well maintained hotel and rooms, cosy room with nice design, good shower, plastic-free, good location.

Minor detail: all room lights are on the same switch, so it's all or nothing with only night lights as the alternative.

Great location in the Old Quarter on Ma May street. Close to food options, walking distance to Hoan Kiem lake. Fantastic staff. Attentive, engaging, helpful and genuinely friendly. Nice rooftop bar with decent cocktails and friendly bartenders. Decently sized rooms with a comfy bed. Simple, quality fittings. Good soundproofing to buff out the noise from the streets. Good AC as well, during the hot summer nights. Comfy breakfast are with some decent food.

Breakfast could have a bit more variety. I stayed for 8 days and I did get tired of the breakfast choices. They could have at least changed the Pho option daily with something else, like Bun Cha or whatever else. And the salad, fruit and hot food options also got mundane after a while. It can get crowded at breakfast when they run a full house. Insufficient dining tables so get there early or very late.

We stayed for 2 nights at La Sietsa Classic Ma May in Hanoi. This hotel is ideally located in the Old Quarter and only a few minutes walk from Ho Hoan Kiem lake. The stand out for us was the superb staff who went over and above to make our experience that much more enjoyable and memorable! They were genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay in Hanoi. We experienced 1st class service throughout our stay. Special mentions to Anh, Richard and Cuong! They have done their profession and hotel brand proud! We can't praise them enough! There's a great view from the rooftop bar - Moonlight Sky Bar! This hotel and staff come highly recommended 👌
