Bella Rosa Trendy Hotel

The Bella Rosa was a fantastic start to our two weeks in Vietnam! Great location if you want to be in the boisterous city center - the main beer street is right out the front door! A minimal amount of noise came through our big picture window looking out onto the street but we expected that...and we were dog-tired every day so sleep came quickly! The room was very nicely sized with all you need for a mid to long stay. Staff were great, the historic center of Hanoi is fabulous and we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Special thanks for the available shower on the ground floor to clean up before our night train to Hue!

The breakfast was discontinued after Covid...but if you can't find great food at any hour in Vietnam you are actually lost and on the wrong planet! :-)

Stay in the Heart of the Action I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly embodied the essence of being in the midst of all the excitement. Located conveniently close to the famous Beer Streets, it was an ideal choice for those who enjoy being right in the center of the action. From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional friendliness and helpfulness from the hotel staff. We had initially booked a room without a balcony, but to our delight, they kindly offered us a beautiful room with a balcony instead. The balcony boasted a stunning view and was incredibly spacious. I want to express my sincere gratitude for this kind gesture, as it truly enhanced our experience. The bed in the room was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Additionally, one aspect that we greatly appreciated was the fact that throughout our travels in Vietnam, the elevators always operated without the incessant bell sound. This was a small detail, but it made a significant difference in ensuring a peaceful evening without constantly hearing the elevator from our room. The location of the hotel was undeniably its standout feature, placing us right in the heart of the bustling city. The convenience of being so close to the lively Beer Streets was unbeatable, as it allowed us to easily immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the area. Countless dining options, bars, and entertainment venues were just steps away from the hotel, ensuring that there was never a dull moment during our stay. The friendly and accommodating staff, the generous upgrade to a room with a balcony, and the comfortable bed all contributed to an great stay. The central location, particularly in close proximity to the lively Biers Streets, made it an ideal choice for those who thrive on being in the midst of the action. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the hotel for making our time in the city truly memorable.

We loved this nice, small hotel slap bang in the middle of the Old Quarter. Very clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom, great facilities. Kelly, the Manager, was amazing, going above and beyond to help us with any questions and even organising a lovely breakfast to take on a long bus trip when we left. We loved the position which is in the heart of the buzzing Old Quarter, but the room we stayed on facing the street was well-insulated and we weren't kept awake by any noise. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my time in Hanoi stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is central for visiting the cities main tourist attractions, with plenty of food and drink establishments on your doorstep. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable.

The only downside would be if you are a light sleeper, due to the location on the edge of beer street in the Old Quarter. There is street noise that is noticeable in the we evenings from neighbouring bars, but does seem to stop around midnight. If you are out in it you wouldn’t notice, and it does quieten down after midnight. Light sleepers or those seeking an early night would be best using ear plugs.

it’s near a lot of good and inexpensive food, near beer street if you are into that kind of thing, near spas, atm, even near the drop off point for passengers taking the sleeping bus from Sapa. It is near what you need within reach as a traveller. the staff were also very pleasant, specially Kelly, and also the other night lobby person. My room was clean everyday! will definitely stay here again!

I booked this knowing that beer street can be noisy and chaotic so the plus point that it is near beer street can also be an issue if you can’t tolerate noise. It was bearable for me though but just be mindful of this fact.

Clean, spacious room with super comfy big bed and hot powerful shower. Staff are lovely and helpful. Great value - I highly recommend it. They also organised a taxi for us from the airport which was nice to not have to navigate in the middle of the night. Bring earplugs because it can get noisy (but everywhere in the Old Quarter is like that so can’t complain).

The airport taxi and the transport the hotel offered us to get to Ha Long Bay was more expensive than it should be (quoted around £15 when we were able to book online for around £10).

The reception was very warm, friendly and helpful. The room has a nice balcony overlooking the streets. The room has all the amenities you can expect from a 5 star hotel - LED TV with working channels, safe, fridge, electric kettle, tooth brush, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer, etc.

If only a little more attention can be made towards the cleanliness of the coffee cups and spoons. The balcony chair and table were thick with dust. The curtain was dusty. The room floor is a bit dirty.

Bella Rosa Trendy Hotel was quiet and comfortable, just right after a long flight. It was impressive in cleanliness and good beds. The staff were helpful as we required and polite. The street outside was bustling and interesting to see on a weekend night with no cars. But the sleeping was so quiet in the room, a well-designed hotel on a narrow block street frontage. Thanks to the management for a good stay.

The room was a little bit small but the modern decor helped make it feel comfortable and the complimentary water bottles, tea and coffee was good. We liked that they did not use plastic individual packets for soap etc. The dispensers in the shower area was a great touch. We enjoyed the convenience and cleanliness of the bidet system.

Location was excellent to be in the heart of the old quarter hanoi. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke good english, even provided cheap laundry. Very happy with our stay

Water wasn't super warm in our room. It certainly wasn't luxury, but great rooms for the price and location!

It had a lift. Though it is small but better than having to climb the stairs. Towels both face and bath towels were provided. Room didn’t smell bad. Hot water was perfect during the cold weather. Excellent customer service especially the front desk, Kelly.

There were ants in the room but the staff sorted them immediately. If you are a light sleeper, the noise from the bar street nearby might bother you a little.
