Best Western Zebra Motel

Ease of access and incredibly smooth check-in process. The receptionist was very friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and much bigger than expected. The bed, although a little small for us, was super comfy. The amenities sufficed for our short, one night stay, although I can see why people who may stay more than a couple of nights would want a bigger fridge. Although we didn't access it, the feature of an in-house restaurant and room service is a great addition. Would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely return should we be in the area overnight again.

We would have loved to be able to get a cappuccino made in the evening/after dinner, but these are only offered during brekky service.

dog friendly was a huge bonus, especially finding a room which was still clean despite being a pet friendly room, there was easy access to our room and after hours check in made a huge difference for us, the room was clean and had all the amentities we needed, and when checking out the staff were so friendly and even complimented my dog!

the only issue was parking, we were travelling from queensland for a trip so had quite a bit of luggage and even though I ticked 'parking' on my reservation, I had to park my car on the street, and could not see it unless i left my room. Due to the accomodation and entire experience being so easy, I didn't mind about the parking, was just worried about my car.

Our stay started with an early check-in, which was accommodated for. Our room was very clean and just smelled fresh. All necessities were provided for including toiletries. The bathroom was spotless Air-con worked a treat. We had a king bed and had to say it was like sleeping on a cloud and heard no noise from the highway. Staff were very friendly, and check-in and check out was a very smooth process. Also, the price was great. Would definitely recommend the motel to family and friends.

There was not one thing to complain about.

Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom is always presented well. Bed was very comfortable.

We were disappointed in the menu for the dinner at night - I had the cutlets and I felt that they were overcooked. Staff were accommodating with serving vegetables instead of chips and salad - for that I was very grateful. I did find the dining room staff off-hand and actually abrupt and surly - which is NOT what I have experienced on previous visits. The dining room was NOT busy at all and staff could have been more friendly.

Everything! It was only a short stay, but the beds were comfortable, it was extremely clean and the shower was the best thing ever. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, made sure we were comfortable and gave us great ideas for dinner - just a walk around the corner (Coast Hotel) which we really enjoyed. We also had a trailer which they happily accommodated the spot for us to park. Tv has Netflix available for you to log into. If we pass through again we’ll definitely be coming back here!

You need to take the key with you if you’re going to close the door behind you (even to head back to the car for example) as the door is locked on the outside at all times! - not such a bad thing security wise if you are notorious for forgetting to lock things. Wouldn’t even say it’s a downfall at all!

Room was quite roomy with comfy bed. Bathroom looked updated and was nice and clean. All up had everything you needed including microwave and toaster. Short walk to town centre. Even though it is close to the Highway, I did not really notice the traffic noise.

Parking - spots not allocated and it was a bit tight when most rooms occupied.

The room was spacious and clean. The pool looked inviting. The air conditioning worked well. There was full crockery and cutlery which was handy for takeaway dinner.

The bathroom had an odd odour and there was only one small opening window in the bathroom. The location is on the highway and even though it is 60km, the trucks use their noisy air brakes so it can be noisy at the front of the property.

The room was lovely and clean and had everything that I needed. there was a clock display on the phone however it was set the wrong time and was illuminated at night so couldn't tell what time it was without checking my phone but everyone seems to have a mobile on them these days The room smelt lovely.

A easily read clock in the room would have been lovely but wasn't a deal breaker.

Extremely thoughtful design of the room and inclusions. Comfort rarely found in a three star motel. Clearly planned and run by people with an understanding of and care for travellers needs. Our room was at the back so we had no problem with road noise.

No breakfast available was partly offset by the QR code of local cafes

Really happy with our stay at Best Western. It was clean and the bed was so comfy. Didn’t avail of the pool facility but would have if I’d had the time. Parking was plentiful. Only downfall was wifi wasn’t great 1 night when trying to listen to youtube but it worked the next night for a netflix film on the tv in the room😊
