The beds were very comfortable. The unit was beautiful, modern, clean and very spacious and had the perfect view (which we saw the next day as we arrived late at night). You could hear the ocean. The shower and spa bath was great as well.

Would have liked air con in the bedrooms as well. The fans in both bedrooms were noisy and squeeked when turned on and left on all night as it was stuffy in the rooms. Even with the window closed my son could hear the trains at night as you were only a couple of hundred metres away from the main station and he didn't sleep well. (maybe with ear plugs it would be alright)

The apartments were close to places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also good that it was near the beach to go out for a walk or have a swim in the ocean. The apartment was clean and had all the things I was looking for during my stay for the week. Reception staff, really friendly and even though I arrived at least 3 hours earlier than the designated check in time. Got our apartment ready so we could feel welcome and settle in straight away.

Apartment is near a train station, so there are times when you will hear the train pass by. Apartment we stayed in didn't have the good scenic view compared with some of the others, but was not a real factor of why I stayed there.

The male at reception who greeted us was terrific. He allowed us to borrow some binoculars to spot whales from our balcony and also stocked us up with fresh milk. The property was clean and had all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. My partner forgot some clothing the next day and the reception staff immediately took them to the post office and sent them to us at our cost (honest price). It’s honesty that is valued and can make a stay even more valuable.

Some parts were a little tired, as was the spa casing. The room did have a slight smell to it of cleaning products (perhaps too much bleach).

The location was fabulous, very close to great food, the jetty and beach. The receptionist Vanessa was a great help and ensured we knew all the local places of interest and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have rebooked for this year. The view is worth the 3 flights of stairs ! The new years eve fire works were stunning and yet peaceful on our balcony. The view from the spa bath was spectacular. The kitchen-net had plenty of useful options and the fridge held quite a lot. It’s very convenient the reception has milk/alcohol/cheese/chips etc.

The only down side the entire time for me was the bed, it was just too soft however I do have a back issue. My husband on the other hand was fine with the bed.

A very pleasant stay at the Observatory. Easy, friendly check-in, nice accommodation (finding 3 bedroom apartments is not always easy). Having our own personal lock-up garage with internal access was brilliant (you definitely need a car in Coffs). I was also impressed that the facility has two Tesla charging stations (I don't have one, but was impressed that the facility caters for EV's too). Right next to the railway station and an easy walk to plenty of eateries and the beach.

Entry/Exit driveways very steep where it meets the road - not all cars can make it without scraping. But there is plenty of on-street parking.

Great location, close to the water and only a minutes walk from great restaurants and the pub!

You could hear everything - the walls are very thin, as is the sub floor. We could hear people walking above us very loudly. The beds are a bit too soft - we were driving 9 hours the next day and both had sore backs!

Great location - easy walk to beaches and cafes. If you or kids are into trains then there is plenty to see without leaving your room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The kitchen and bathrooms were slightly dated but nothing untoward. The biggest issue was the lack of room service even for a 5-night stay but to be fair, it was notified to us at the time of booking.

The apartment was so spacious, comfortable, and clean. Great amenities too. Perfect set up. And the whole process from start to finish was seamless - the staff are so communicative and respond straight away, everything is organised well. It’s also literally right next to the Coffs Harbour train station, if you need to get somewhere. And around the corner are a bunch of bars and restaurants to eat at. I left something in the room by mistake so they even contacted me to let me know and offered to post it out. Great weekend, perfect accomodation!

Wifi wasn’t the best

I loved the view, location and was well equipped with everything I needed for my few days there. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

I found the bed to be too soft. It seemed to be sunked in on the right side more than the left. I think the mattress need’s replacing. I was in Room 22.

Awesome location. Close to cafes and Coffs Jetty. Quiet and comfortable.

Wi-Fi is pretty much non existent. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan or enclosed shower so expect water to stay on the floor (especially if you have kids). It was a little outdated in terms of the bathroom and kitchen but was comfortable enough. There isn’t a dishwasher in the kitchen which means more time spent cleaning up. Fairly pricey.
