The staff were very friendly and polite and my room was very clean and regularly serviced. I was near the shared bathroom and seldom met other guests there. The bathroom was kept clean, neat and tidy. Although the hotel had its own restaurant, it is also situated amongst several good restaurants and a convenience store that opens late and the Yacht Club is a short walk away. My room was fairly well insulated from the bars and games room as I seldom heard anything from there after I closed my door. I highly recommend The Pier for a stop over in Coffs Harbour.

Friendly obliging staff. Looked after our bags till we had to catch our train booking later that evening after check out of our room and we explored the local area. After my young son and I purchased a great bistro meal and drinks we were able to kill time in the bistro / lounge area till they closed...... our train came 40 minutes later. Thankyou again 100% recommended :-)

Personally I like fresh milk in the room as opposed to long life ..... but that's just me. Everything was great though :-)

Room is lovely and spacious. Has a sink in the room, a large tv and ceiling fan. Everything felt really clean. Door locks easily and you have keys to the bathroom and outdoor access. Woman's bathroom locks and you need a key to get in. Makes travelling as a lone female feel safer. Once the music stops it's very quiet with no street noise which is amazing. Location is great too. You're on a street of lovely local cafès and a 5min drive to the beach. They also have plenty of parking out the back. Staff are super helpful and lovely.

The music is loud and encores meant it went till 11pm instead of 10:30pm. But I enjoyed the music. I know others might hate that. But if you're staying in a popular local pub on a Friday night, you should expect that. Great if you want to go down and join in. There's no curtains, just slats for blinds so you have some street light in at night, not much though.

The customer service at check in, the bartender made the process seamless and even walked me to my room, which was above and beyond expectations. Credit must go to him for this. Proximity to external food and beverage options. Clean facilities and decent amenities with modern shower and ample supply of toiletries.

Band got louder and louder as the night wore on. The weed smoking patrons out in the back car park (security and regular patrols should be increased to prevent this). No cutlery available in room.

My room was quiet and comfortable. The pier is in the Jetty Strip (known for the series of restaurants and coffee places. I could enter and exit my room at any time. It is just a short walk to the beach.

Air conditioning would have helped but the overhead fan was OK.

This is a fantastic property in an amazing location. You can eat at the hotel or just step outside and down the pavement there were 8 different cuisines and 3 cafes to choose to dine at. Great venue!

Beautifully renovated old hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Room and shared bathroom were very clean. The neighbourhood was great with a lovely beach and walk nearby, and plenty of places to eat. We stayed midweek and the noise from the bar downstairs was negligible.

Lovely stylish room with comfortable bed, very clean. Location is great, close to the beach and great cafes and restaurants just next door! Service very good, staff was very lovely and did their best even missing one team member so having extra work load. We had a room in the back so probably didn't get as much noise as the front rooms. No noise late in the night.

Wouldn't mind more separated bathroom (milky glass door) and sink in the bathroom but I can understand that some things could not be changed during renovation. Fan was good but would prefer AC as well.

Neat, clean and comfortable. Excellent shared bathroom facilities.

Didn’t realise it was a pub when I booked (last minute stop over due to driver fatigue) and live band played until 11pm directly below my room (great music, just meant I couldn’t sleep until later than planned)
