The building itself was great. The decor was Mediterranean.

The elevator was claustrophobic! Very small space. You have to get someone to enter and exit the lift through a telephone. It’s ancient it needed upgrades! According to their service directory - using microwave oven - you have to pay $15 per day of your stay. And yet We paid high price for the room! Service directory writes milk in the fridge but there’s none! The toiletries - you ring for face towels ask for two they give one! And you have to ask again! Am Not happy costumer!

Very comfortable, eclectic place. You need to see it to believe it! We stayed here whilst visiting relatives in Ettalong Beach and loved it! I would say our taste is usually at the more modern end when it comes to hotels but we had a recommendation last summer from other folks staying here and decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed! The complex has cinemas, markets and resturants along with an amazing bakery (Rise). A number of our visitors are now booking in to stay here. Highly recommend for something different and so close to the beach!

Nothing really, some noise but we stayed over NYE so to be expected.

Such a cool hotel with a very italian feel. It's ontop of shops and restaurants and it felt like a cool maze that we could explore. There are cinemas on the property and a pool as well. Definitely a really funky place to check out. Was also surprisingly quiet even though it's ontop of so many things.

Room was quiet dark and didn't have much light. Also got a little bit confusing trying to navigate around the hotel when we first got there, however after a day or so it became much easier.

The property suited our needs, was affordable and provided the comfort for a weekend stay. I enjoyed the quaintness of the property. The staff were polite and accommodating. The pizza restaurant provided excellent food for our first night's accommodation.

The light outside our room needed a globe so it was difficult to see when entering the room at night. The provision of some dishwashing liquid would have been beneficial.

We usually visit every year but haven't been able to since the Covid pandemic. I love the feel and Italian charm of the resort. The rooms are comfortable and the host very friendly and approachable. The location is ideal with easy access to dining, shopping and day trips further up the coast

Not to complain but the cost of accommodation has increased dramatically since our last visit. The onsite restaurants also charge a premium. I get that everyone is trying to make a living but with limited accommodation in the vicinity, potential visitors are priced out of the market.

We've never been to Italy but the ambiance and the hotel architecture and design surely took us to a different place. We enjoyed looking at the paintings, sculptures, and themed shops which are all directly accessible from the lodge. We are delighted on how clean and luxurious the family suite felt when we arrived. For the price we paid, we were treated for more than what we expected. When we showed the place to our friends, they too, were amazed of the property. We never got to try the movie theatres, but we're also pleased to say that they show the latest movie catalogue.

The family suite we stayed on is situated right above one of the woodfire pizza cafes. You will be able to hear the customers dining from the master bedroom, but the cafe doesn't stay open 'til late anyway. On mornings, you'll be able to hear other patrons' loud voices along the corridors. The pool is small. It's only good for a handful of guests at a time.

Our room was huge, and beautifully presented in art deco style, clean and tidy. There were even fresh frangipani flowers on our towels. The night manager was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The spa was lovely, our bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Everything we needed - fantastic restaurants (check out Yusu, the Japanese restaurant in the front of the complex, it was amazing!), relaxing spa and the beach only a few minutes walk down the road.

Nothing that was in anyone's control - I had a slight allergic reaction to whatever the spa was cleaned with, but I should have known to rinse it before use (was too excited to hurry up and fill it!) I do have very sensitive skin so didn't want that to detract from anything else. If anything I appreciated the spa had been cleaned!

This place is so beautiful. We only live 40 minutes away but love to just spend the night here every so often to enjoy the hotel, restaurants, pool and Ettalong beach. The location is beautiful and the resort makes you feel like your walking through a little village in Italy. If you are lucky enough to be greeting by Peter at the front desk. He is so helpful. And even organised ice for us as he saw we had a bottle of champagne. 10/10. Can’t wait to return
