I loved the whole place. The location is so lovely and peaceful with a nice garden at the back to walk through and see the mountains and wildlife. The room and house were very elegant and clean. Last but not least, the hosts Lindy and David were amazing. They were really warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the cow's graze and the kangaroos jumping. It was my father's 80th birthday, and Lindy came out with a candle and sang 'Happy Birthday' to my father.

The Laurels was a perfect overnight stay for a wedding we attended in Kangaroo Valley. The bed was comfortable, black-out blinds allowed for an undisturbed sleep-in and the complimentary amenities were such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast spread we received the next morning was by-far the highlight of our stay (something we've reminisced on more times than we'd like to admit since checking-out). Generous servings of yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice and jam awaited us while our main course was being prepared (and was cooked to perfection! Thank you David). The service we received had us feeling like royalty and was the perfect solution to ease our hungover heads haha We'll absolutely be back next time we find ourselves in Kangaroo Valley. Thank you David and Lindy for your hospitality and our wonderful stay, it was short, but it sure was sweet!

Nothing, the Laurels is divine!

The location is perfect for exploring Kangaroo Valley. The hosts David and Lindy are very hospitable, funny and know alot about the local area so can answer your questions. The room we stayed in was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Nothing at all, no negatives to our stay. The only negative was we were staying only 1 night that was due to our plans. Wished we could have stayed longer.

David and Lindy are wonderful hosts and are interesting and fascinating to talk with. The Laurels B&B is a beautiful place. Comfortable, warm and friendly atmosphere. So many lovely and interesting pieces to look at from stunning furniture to books, and many items collected over a lifetime. Breakfast is an amazing feast where no one should ever leave the elegant dining room feeling hungry. I almost forgot the 5pm wine and cheese each afternoon in the gorgeous sitting room while relaxing on comfy couches with book in hand in front of the cozy fire. So very civilised. Thankyou David and Lindy for making us both feel so warmly welcome. Rob and Petra

There was not one thing that we disliked about The Laurels B&B apart from having to go home.

The most beautiful room with old world charm. A gorgeous verandah to enjoy a red wine and relaxing conversation which made the accommodation seem so much larger. Did not have that closed in feeling most studio suits create. Great history lesson from the owner, very accommodating, entertaining and informative. Cheese and wine in the afternoon provided which was a lovely surprise. Quite an relaxing. Breakfast was amazing with a lovely opportunity to engage with other guests

It was raining, having written that, certainly outside the proprietors control, and simply added to the charm of the building and grounds.

It’s location was great, it was warm given winter conditions outside, room was spacious and internal ensuite was great. Traffic could hardly be heard at night time and the property decoration, doors, ceilings, fireplace etc made it feel cosy and a very traditional B&B.

Parking was abit tight especially if other rooms were to have guests. I had no issues as was a guest for 2 days without others. otherwise loved it.

Comfortable bed, beautifully decorated home, friendly hosts, quiet, stunning garden. Wish we could have enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese provided nightly but were at an event. Appreciated the complimentary sparkling wine :). Very thoughtful hosts.

The breakfast wasn't great - coffee too weak and bacon, mushrooms, bread etc. were too sweet. Maybe other people like this though. Eggs cooked to perfection. My husband loved his breakfast.

When I arrived at The Laurels, the exterior of the B&B was quaint and rustic- like something out of a classic novel. I was greeted warmly by owner Lindy, who showed me around the area and informed me of breakfast as well as complimentary cheese and wine in the late afternoon and a complimentary bottle of sparkling in my room! The B&B is something so beautiful and the size and amount of guests is just right for an introvert like me. Lindy & David are the loveliest people I’ve ever met as well; they were very attentive to my needs, and are great to have conversations with. They also are non-judgmental, accept guests from all walks of life and make them feel like it’s a second home. I certainly had a great time and my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! I’ve already recommended The Laurel’s B&B to many of my friends.

The B&B was a little hard to find, but it was all part of the fun I believe. The gravel road could use a little bit of work or maintenance as my car would struggle a bit as I exited on the gravel road, but this didn’t affect my experience here at all.

David and Libby - the hosts were charming, interesting and convivial, attentive and available without being intrusive. The property and gardens are a delight and the location provides a great base to explore the valley and surrounds. Libby's local knowledge was invaluable for the first time visitor to the area. Afternoon cheese and wine was a great way to meet the other guests and swap stories of the days discoveries. Breakfast was substantial, tasty and fresh.

I honestly can't think of anything that could have been done better or anything that was missing from our stay. When we go back to Kangaroo Valley the Laurels will be our first choice for sure.

We stayed here for a wedding at Melross & Willows Estate, which was just a quick 5 minutes down the road, so the location was fantastic for us. Lindy and David are lovely hosts who cook a fabulous breakfast. The house itself is full of charm and character, and we wished we had had more time there to enjoy it.

The bathroom in our room was impossible to open and close the door to in the night without waking up the other person, as the door was loud and creaky and there isn't really any soundproofing.
