Ruth is a fabulous host. She was helpful with advice to best utilise our time in the area. The things that we liked most were: The fresh homemade wholemeal bread. The freshly made hot berry mixture with breakfast. The fresh fruit platter. The bacon, eggs (your choice), tomato & fresh avocado. The plunger of fresh coffee. The beautifully presented, wonderfully furnished & remarkably quiet property was a joy in which to stay. The bedroom was very cosy, clean & fitted out with quality linen. The feather & down pillows put the finishing touch on two excellent nights of blissful comfort. The property is four minutes by car from the centre of the wonderful town of Bundanoon.

I loved the grandeur of the house and the long treelined driveway bu especially he themed, large rooms with so much character. We had the Swedish room which was probably the nicest room I have ever stayed in. The room was bright , colourful and friendly and the large images/ wallpaper of Swedish wildflowers and red houses and the space in the room with the lovely table and wooden chairs as well as the spa bath was so beautiful, I did not want to leave. I also loved popping into Morton NP which was only a few minutes away and enjoyed the explosion of yellow wattle flowers and the pom poms all over the otherwise deciduous trees ' in town'. Ruth made a lovely hot breakfast of beacon and eggs and also cereals and stewed & fresh fruit. I also liked that everyone had a 'back door' that led to the driveway/ garden.

I am not a big fan of dogs jumping on me, especially since I have sore knees. Her dog is only small but it wasn't the only one there. I guess more and more guesthouses become pet friendly. The only other thing I feel could be (easily) improved was the plunger coffee: it was see-through. Otherwise it was the perfect stay.

The location was fantastic, nestled on a long battleaxe drive amongst other properties. Very quiet and secluded property, and the "first glimpse" coming up the drive is very impressive. Ruth's breakfast was fantastic, she is a very hospitable host and excels at running such a wonderful b&b. Not a fault of the host or property - we had some difficulties with Google Maps/Waze directing us to the cul-de-sac behind the Lodge. Double check your directions before setting off to ensure you don't make the same mistake we did!

Stayed here with my daughter for our annual getaway together. Lovely place, quiet, peaceful, and welcoming without being overwhelming. Lovely breakfast and beautiful room and bathroom. It rained while we were there, but that just enhanced the beauty of the gardens and surroundings. We had a small kitchen nook and a table to seat four people in our spacious room. We had dinner at the Bundanoon Club just up the road, next time we'll book for Friday night. Bowral, with great shops, is 30 minutes drive on country roads. Perfect weekend, thankyou Ruth and Gracie.

I really can't fault Bundanoon Lodge.

Brilliant - the room was like any hotel room but the extra touches made it so special: Bed and linen that were so high quality and that felt like a big hug Bathroom ensuite huge, towels the fluffiest supplied lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash in regular bottles so reduces all that waste in little toiletries bottles. Even a good quality anti slip for the shower. There was an auto night light so middle of the night bathroom visits didn’t disturb others. There were zero sounds at night and the grounds were so well kept and beautifully established. Breakfast was so friendly as only have rooms for about 8. Common areas of lounge and kitchen were so homely and welcoming. Ruth was so lovely!

Hard to say…. All I can fault is sign on door that lead to the bedrooms. As we arrived when Ruth wasn’t home. She had communicated that our keys would be on the kitchen bench. We were then not sure where our rooms were and were concerned we might have been entering the private section.

Beautiful and well maintained garden of Eden! Very spacious suite completed with small dining table, couch, large bathroom and sufficient equipped kitchenette. Surely, you are welcome to relax around the large lounge/ library area and enjoy great breakfast well prepared by Ruth, the friendly host! If weather permit, you can easily spend the morning and evening at the veranda right outside your suite watching and listening to the symphony being performed by the locals- the great variety of beautiful birds. You can also have a ball game with Molly - Ruth’s pooch - to see her all excited.

For some, mobile user with non - Telstra network, could have signal issue. But, it worked just fine for me! It is an escape after all. BTW, Wifi is excellent!

Ruth and Melly the dog were wonderful hosts. They introduced themselves to us and made us immediately feel right at home. The accommodation was excellent. It was very clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, avocado and tomato, home baked bread and bacon and eggs cooked by Ruth. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bundanoon Lodge and would highly recommend it.

The home cooked breakfast was just perfect, no request was denied. Plenty of places to sit comfortably in this beautiful home to read, relax, talk, or enjoy watching the wild life come right up to the verandah. Private sitting area just outside each room to enjoy a cheese platter and glass of red and enjoy the well manicured gardens. Owner, Ruth, had plenty of information on the area, directing us to the National Park for a picture perfect bushwalk through the waterfalls leading to a swimming hole. Lot's of stories on the history of the area shared - so interesting. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds were just amazing. Walking distance to the town centre for gift shopping/coffee and local hotel for meals. We even received a comprehensive tutorial on how to manage your worm farm from the lovely lady who assists with breakfast - what a personality she is.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place

Ruths warm hospitality, Melly Amelias morning cuddles, meeting Nicki on our last morning. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves for a few days before other guests arrived. Super clean, beautiful lodge, comfortable bed and room (the stunning English room)with constant hot water. The peace & quiet was God sent and Ruths breakfasts were fabulous...scrambled eggs 2nd to none!! It was home from home and we shall be back.

Zip...nothing at all to dislike.

Everything was perfect, from the moment we entered the driveway, parking was so easy and convenient. The lodge was so clean and so warm and welcoming, we felt right at home. Check-in and out was a breeze! Ruth was so friendly, and this made our stay even better! The bed was so comfortable, we had the best sleep in a long time. There was also the heater function on the beds, which was definitely very useful. The toilet was so clean too. Breakfast was so delicious, we had the best bread and yoghurt. You can actually smell breakfast the moment you wake up. Overall the entire experience was wonderful, made even more perfect by the warmth from Ruth, and also the other people staying that weekend.
