Excellent staff - big shout-out to Rama for his professionalism and kindness. The restaurant staff were also very sweet. The views are lovely and the property is well presented. The biggest bonus was being able to use the facilities at Lillianfels, which made the rainy and foggy afternoon more enjoyable. Without that you're very isolated. This was our second stay and it felt like the property had changed hands - or maybe it's the impact of Covid. But it felt a tad over-priced for what it offers.

The pillows were either too soft and lumpy or too hard and the air conditioning was erratic. I think the biggest disappointment was with the food. Dinner was very limited in choices and the standard didn't match the price. We've stayed before and loved the menu, but this time the meat was chewy, the vegetables too precooked and the overall presentation was more like an expensive pub meal. Breakfast was pleasant although, again, the choices were not very imaginative. I'm not a fan of juice concentrates and the pastries were too sweet and soggy. The two hour window also made it feel like we were being rushed and left no opportunity for a relaxing Sunday sleep-in.

Location and views quality of services links to Lilianfels easy drive from Sydney

the restaurant is high quality and expensive which is fine. however I found that couples with small babies in the restaurant was just wrong when my wife and I were looking for a quiet exclusive experience. we would never take small babies or children to a quality resort hotel like echoes we chose the hotel because it was smaller more exclusive and boutique like. I highly recommend a no children and babies policy. leave this to Lilianfels or some other larger property.

Lovely room and view

The place has an odd atmosphere, no soul. No offence to staff who work hard but they come across as inexperienced and awkward at times especially in the restaurant but I guess that's hospitality these days in Aus. It doesn't give you that quality relaxed feel you'd expect. The food was pretty ordinary so the whole thing feels overpriced. Also allowing a crowd of people to inspect the lawn area in the morning and file past our window looking in while we were in bed was a less that perfect experience.

Great breafast and view amazing Dinner was beautifully presented and winderful flavours, service was exceptional . Moved us to a quieter room ( without us asking) when a larger group got a lirtle loud . Very tuned in to all customer needs When we first checked in the concierge very friendly and enquired re reason for stay and then we were pleasantly surprised with a glass of wine he delivered to our room to celebrate a anniversary milestone. Very much unexpected but appreciated wonderful stay , most definitely would recommend for quality of service food accommodation and that view

No changeroom ( we did ask ) at lillianfels for Echo guests to use around pool- would have had to walk through and back to hotel wet and cold so chose not to use pool facilities

The view from our room was exceptional. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable

The fact that even though I explained I was traveling with my 92 mother and would like to be ground level we were placed in a room downstairs where she had to use the stairs (approximately 20) to go anywhere. We had planned to dine in the restaurant upstairs however the journey from downstairs to ground level and then onto the next level up (possible 25 more stairs) would have been too much for my mum. Therefore the restaurant lost money.

view divine, staff friendly and helpful, housekeeping lovely

The only thing was that the suite was 'L' shaped which impacted on the space and the couch was not 'floppable' - felt I needed to sit up straight and not relax

Brilliant view and lovely room

All facilities, pools etc were on another property so you had to walk back in cold. There was nowhere except your room to sit and read or admire the view or have a drink. Great place to honeymoon or romance when you never intend to leave the room or be social.

View from the room was amazing. Staff were fantastic. Was really great to be able to use the facilities of the sister hotel next door. Location can't be beat.

Room deco staying to get a little outdated and the room shapes are a little on the awkward side.

Breakfast was excellent, the view was superb when there was no mist/fog. Restaurant staff were good but the overall service and meal standard was average. Overall the stay was enjoyable.

Parking was an issue had to park some distance away and it was raining heavy, the bar area was dark small and cramped had it not been raining the outside areas could have been utilised the areas were not weatherproof. The room layout and size could have been better we had a Grand Deluxe room, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room warm and winter would be a real issue.

The location was amazing - 5 minutes Wally o the three sisters , walking tracks . Every room had a balcony with an amazing view which is rare. The restaurant was fabulous for our 20year anniversary and the fact that we had full access to Lilianfels facilities next door as they are the same group meant that we wanted for nothing.

We had the room in the side nearest the front of the hotel - still had an amazing balcony and view and privacy but would like to try one at the front next time.
