Handy location to Katoomba town centre. Very cosy, warm and comfortable room. Well stocked with tea / coffee / milk. Cutlery, plates and bowls supplied so we could make our own breakfasts. Attentive staff, ready and quick to attend to issues raised. Very good room heating. Wonderful to have electric blankets on cold winter nights.

Shower in Room 33 tends to flood the bathroom floor. So we took shorter and quicker showers to avoid flooding. Mattress is very soft and bouncy. Curtains has leaks of light so not dark enough for us to sleep well.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was great.

For this level of lodging (3 star), our primary criteria are (1) cleanliness (2) cleanliness and (3) low noise level. We were pleased that the room, bed, and bathroom were very clean and well kept. This doesn’t happen by accident so it shows great management. The only noise we experienced was a little road traffic and early departures in the parking lot as the doors face the parking lot. Great location next to the highway so we could easily hop over to Leura for breakfast ( recommend Freudian Sip for their coffee AND food and cozy interior) and the National Park in the opposite direction.

The pool was nice, although it needs a little TLC. The location was good, slightly out of town, and the hustle and bustle, but not too far from the attractions, bars & restaurants. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The TV can play dvds, and a large choice in reception can be borrowed for free. Most things were available in the room that you would expect from a motel, perfect for a short stay.

Net curtains at the window would have been nice so we could open the curtain. Outside and pool furniture could do with a revamp.

The room was well prepared with the heating on and the air scenter plugged in and giving a pleasant aroma to the room. The water was always hot when we needed it. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm enough without the need for the electric blanket.

Todays rooms have soap dispensers for showering and hand washing, this room had bars of soap which stuck to the basin when it became soft. The property is off the main road, however this road is a Mountain Rd which causes trucks to brake which i could hear during the night.

great location a short walk to katoomba. off the highway and in a lovely leafy locale. rooms were clean and recently decorated. facilities top rate including a toaster and a small fridge and microwave which were very useful. loved the pool - a swim among the gumtrees in the morning was very refreshing. staff also very helpful.

the dvd didn’t work which was a shame as they had a great selection in the reception to borrow. but she did try to fix it and I suspect it was previous user error that broke it!

The motel is clean and with good amenities. Its design is simple - in a good neat way. It had a microwave oven which is useful. Air conditioner heater is good, which is important for us in winter. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast at additional cost is good value.

Location wise, although it is at Katoomba, it is about 2 km away from the main shopping and dining area, which presented no problem if a vehicle is at hand. By being away from the main stretch and just slightly off the main highway, it is very quiet.

Booked a 2 room unit. 1st room has 3 beds and 2nd a queen bed. Clean well kept. With bed warmers. Air-conditioning. Clearly designated car park lots. Location is 5 min drive from katoomba. 20 min walk. Service is hassle free. We had an issue with rusted kettle and was replaced immediately. Quiet secure place. A little dated but clean and we'll maintained.
