The Mantra 2 Bond Street hotel is perfectly placed as it's within a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay (ferries, Opera House, bars, restuarants and buses, trains and trams), Darling Harbour, shopping centres and the Theatre Royal. My apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. It was quiet and had a lovely view over George Street which is pedestrianised with just the light railway (trams). The staff were very friendly, answered all my questions and pointed me in the direction of the nearest supermarket (Coles, a 5 min walk away). Ignore the poor reviews, this place is excellent.

Great location. Right between the rocks, Wynyard Station, and Circular Quay. There is a tram station literally at the door that takes you down George Street. You're surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and cafes. There are heaps of transport options. The room was clean and comfortable and had free wifi.
We had a good stay, but if I have to state some things I didn't like about the stay: Our room had a view of a brick wall, it's fine, I guess someone has to right? Also parking was $60/day. Finally, the not a major issue, but the tap in the bathroom was too small so when you wash your hands, the water unavoidably goes all over the bench top.

Location was amazing, staff were very easy to deal with and halpful when we had an issue with our room. My daughter loved the pool/spa with a view and we loved having a handy base to return to through the day. View from the 14th floor was brilliant as well and we spent a lot of time staring at the surrounding city skyline.
Nighttime was a little noisy on the 2nd floor but we were also staying on Mardi Gras weekend so expected it wouldn't be a quiet night... The aircon broke on the first night also meaning a very warm sleep however the staff were very quick to move us into a new room in the morning and the new room was on a higher level meaning it was much quieter. Bathroom in the 2 bedroom apartment was a little cramped with the toilet being close to the wall but still very usable and not a huge issue.

The room was beautiful, really lovely decor. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. It was also very quiet, barley any street noise despite only being on the second floor. However the next apartments door closing and opening at 3am was a bit noisy. The location is great with lots of public transport options nearby.
There were some minor maintenance issue like the door frame above the main door was coming away from the wall, some wall paint near the wardrobe was chipped and poorly fixed. Only one of the TV remotes worked, however, the one that worked worked on both TVs which was good.

Very high quality finishes. Great room size for the basic room. More like an executive suite. Proximity to light rail station made city travel a breeze. Two stops south to the QVB (centre of the city) and two stops north to the the harbour (Opera House etc). Attention to detail in the property was great. I think that refurbished in 2023. Memento Cafe in the lobby did a great breakfast (well worth the price of inclusion). They also knew it was our 25th wedding anniversary and did a beautiful decoration using the towels in the shape of two swans to form a heart on the bed. The also gave us a bottle of champagne which we enjoyed.

Location was excellent - really central to everything, woolworths virtually across the road, transport right outside the door. Room had nice layout and felt homely. Beds were really comfortable, shower pressure was really good, staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Couldn't find thermostat to change room temp, shower flood's past the door a bit (wasn't from stepping on drain), toilet was quite tight against wall. Walls need a touch up with paint here and there. A little noisy from 'Establishment' next door. Had to laugh about the pictures on the wall - were a bit weird and a tad creepy, but a funny conversation point...lol.

The location of this hotel is just perfect ! Very Well connected by trams , (just outside the the hotel ) close to wynyard station, ferry area at circular quay, Sydney CBD area , Woolworths Metro is across the street . We booked a 2 bedroom apartment - comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 teen kids. The bedrooms were separate from the kitchen and lounge . Apartment was well equipped with all the basic amenities . The hotel front office staff was helpful , friendly and available on call.
Housekeeping was upon request only.Unfortunately during our stay, one of the day’s housekeeping missed to service our room. Only 1 Bathroom in the apartment which was very small , especially the shower area and the toilet area was quite congested . Other than this everything else was good !

Location was fantastic! The layout of the rooms worked well and most of the staff were lovely and friendly.
The room wasn’t very clean when we first arrived but when I spoke to reception they were happy to get someone to clean it (there was a lolly stuck to the kitchen floor). When we first checked in the person on reception didn’t smile and barely said a full sentence to us and seemed very much like we where bothering her, and it made us feel so uncomfortable we didn’t even ask any questions (like where we would find the lift). It would have also been nice to have been told about the road works/ street works happening at night when we checked in, as much as the note in our room door was very much appreciated, we checked in the day before the night works started so it would have been nice to have been told.

The room was excellent. Nice space, lovely fixtures, good kitchen, bathroom a bit snug, but nice. Location excellent. So close to the airport train and basically everywhere you'll want to walk, also the tram is right outside
The pool area is very small and needs a lot of maintenance. The pool itself was nice, but the surroundings are pretty tired and in the case of the wood overhangs, held together by strops. Bonus was I had it to myself 3 days in a row.

The reception desk staff had a wonderful welcoming attitude and were incredibly helpful. The restaurant on site left a bit to be desired. presenting as fine dining but fairly average and overpriced, though the wait staff in the restaurant were lovely and attentive and the cooks looked to be working very hard, the prices need to come down or the serving sizes need to get bigger.
The pool was emptied and under renovations which was a shame and to get out of the parking lot each morning i had to dial through to reception rather than just swipe out.
