This is one of my favourite hotels in the world. It is an all suite hotel, and I book a one bedroom suite overlooking the Harbour, Bridge and Opera House. Both the bedroom and lounge have a balcony overlooking the Harbour. Comfortable bed, with good quality sheets. Bathroom small, but good size bath, and walk in shower. Plentiful, good towels Lounge spacious with kitchenette, fully equipped, tea and coffee provided. Washing machine and tumble dryer. I Harrington St, back entrance to hotel, convenience store for milk, snacks, etc. Staff very helpful and responsive. Location perfect 5 mins from Circular Quay. Also, excellent value.

Nothing really. Aircon took a bit of sorting out, otherwise, perfect stay.

Lovely accommodation with great views of the harbour from some areas of the building. Enjoyed the ‘happy hour’ in bar - great value for money. Lovely restaurant serving good quality cuisine.

A bit of a challenge walking up the hill to hotel - okay if wearing flat shoes - not so good in heels 👠

The room was great, with an astonishing view on Sydney Harbour, great equipments (kitchen, laundry) and 2 balcony spaces. We loved it. We had one double bed in a separate room, and my elder daughter slept in the couch (double bed too but softer). Plenty of space for everything. I recommend.

The breakfast (included) is served in a dining area where the air-con is just so cold it gets uncomfortable. We were expecting some kind of "traditional" hotel buffet, but here the buffet is just hot drinks and cereals and the main is from the menu. Staff is nice there too, but the menu could be better : child's waffle should be avoided (small with chocolate topping and ice cream, which doesn't make sense for breakfast), whereas the scrambled eggs are huge, and mushrooms are everywhere from omelette to vegetarian dish which is a bit too "mushroomy" !! Plates come with a tiny croissant and some fruits bites.

We booked a 2bed/2bath apartment with a harbour view. The view was magnificent, the apartment was clean, the beds were very comfortable. Our booking included breakfast which was nice. It is easy to walk from this hotel to vivid and the theatre where Tina Turner is playing. We used the valet service for our car.

Someone had unfortunately turned off both fridges before we arrived which we didn't realise until there was water all over the floor. The apartment we were in definitely could have done with a bit of maintenance and a TV in the 2nd bedroom would have been great too. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

December 2023

The hotel was a comfortable walking distance to the opera house, shopping malls and weekend market. Having a laundry room and fully equipped kitchen was really helpful. The bathtub in the bathroom was a good length. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable.

The lighting in the bedroom was dim, even when the main and bedside lamps were all turned on. The sofa bed took centrestage in the living area and the space for dining was a little tight as a result. The sofa bed had a slant which made sleeping uncomfortable. The aircon was stronger in the living room than the bedroom so adjusting it to a comfortable temperature for both rooms was tough. The washing machine in our room was very loud when spinning and leaked water. The bathtub wasn't completely clean. I had to scrub away the yellow stains around the handle bars before using it.

The standard one bedroom apartments are spacious, but a bit outdated. Luckily we got a much appreciated upgrade to a King Premium one bedroom apartment, which was nicely renovated and very spacious. These apartments are perfect for long term stays. Hotels in general are again very expensive in Sydney, but considering the location and spacious room this is relatively good value. The pool area and jacuzzi are nice as well with great views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Below the hotel (at the rear) there is a really nice cocktail bar called Maybe Sammy, voted in the top 50 best of the world. Happy hour is from 4.30-5.30 pm and they serve $7 mini cocktails while enjoying a great vibe.

As the booking was made through booking.com (rather than through the hotel chain's own website) I was not eligible for any benefits of my Accor All Gold membership, which is really disappointing.

Location is good if you are able bodied. Not great if you are unable to walk independently. Restaurant/bar and reception area have been renovated nicely. Quiet part of the rocks. Rooms are great size with everything you need.

The lift from street to reception can get tiresome having to change. We unfortunately had to leave our accommodation early due to our son having a car accident.. when explaining to the reception staff member, there was not an ounce of sympathy. We were forfeiting a night worth over $490. I felt the offer of some credit would be nice, but more just an acknowledgement of our situation would be normal human decency, but we got NOTHING.

Amenities were great, Loved the full kitchen with cookery and utensils, spa bath and shower and the aircon was crisp. The pool and jacuzzi was lovely. Staff allocated us in a great room with the best view of the harbour and the bridge. Room service is good.

Room/shower could definitely be a lot cleaner. Had difficulty using the washing machine as the door kept getting locked? Didn’t enjoy the bed being made up of 2 singles as it kept splitting/separating throughout our sleep which created a big hole in the middle 😅

Excellent location. Centre of everything and close to all landmarks. Very easy with kids. The room was great too and really appreciated the small laundry area. The pool was really nice too.

On check in, our car height exceeded most commercial parking lots and when we asked for help, the staff couldn't give us tips on where to park so we drove around frantically looking for one. Surely we weren't the first guests with a higher vehicle. The room was nice but getting rather tired.

We loved the views from our room and the two balconies. The pool is perfect with its amazing views. Breakfast was delicious. It was a nice surprise to open the fridge and find a little birthday cake for my husband! The concierge on Friday night was very friendly and helpful.

I don't know if we arrived on a bad day, but none of the staff were happy or welcoming. For the rest of the stay the customer service didn't really improve much. We couldn't connect to the internet to watch netflix on TV or cast netflix/music to the TV.
