We were on the 18th floor and had a nicely renovated and reasonably quiet room- obviously being in the middle of the city it will never be completely quiet! The bed was comfortable and the room was big enough for a couple. Location was excellent; a very short walk from Wynyard station, close to Darling Harbour/Barangaroo and then Circular Quay/the Rocks. The restaurant was closed so we were given vouchers for breakfast at a nearby cafe which was lovely. Staff were pleasant. Once renovations are complete I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
The ongoing renovations posed a minor inconvenience (ie size of the lobby was limited; lots of scaffolding outside; a bit of noise; at one stage the front glass door was broken and access was via a side door and not very well signposted). Some of the updates in the room could have been thought through a bit more; I agree with other reviews commenting on water pooling on the bathroom floor; toilet seats moving; the toilet roll holder was awkwardly positioned. These are only minor issues though!

Location - It was great being by the Center with access to the train station and an easy walk to the ferry. Amenities - The room was equipped with an iron, fridge. coffee making facilities, hairdryer, etc. Also well-kept and maintained. There was regular cleaning and replenishing of supplies. Service - We were switched from our original room reservation but it was fine. We got a better room and the Duty Manager was kind enough to add complimentary breakfast for the family.
While there was ongoing construction, it was not a dealbreaker.

Great room, good size with everything you need for an overnight stay. The location is fantastic with underground train line and central bus node within 2 mins walk meaning you can get about easily without any associated noise. Restaurants, convenience stalls and cafes all about - everything you need. Noise was no problem for us and the hotel happily assisted with our requests.
Check-in was slow. We initially arrived 7mins early and weren't able to check in or store bags. Instead we left to get lunch and then returned about 30mins later to suffer another 30 min wait to check in despite three staff. The staff member assisting us checked in 1 group for every 2-3 people served by the other staff. No effort to be efficient or assist us with checkin (whilst early we didn't expect access to the room till later - just didn't expect to be turned away completely for the sake of 7 minutes).

Got off to a slightly rocky start when we were given the wrong room and then the right room had no water. However, the staff did fix both these problems even if it did take a bit of explaining. We did not eat in the hotel as there were plenty of cafes and restaurants about. It is also very well located within reasonable walking distance of all the main attractions including the Westfield Centre. We were right by Wynyard train station so travelling father afield was really easy. We were on the top floor so the views were stunning. The hotel is not in mint condition but we found it clean and fully functional and once we got over our hiccups at the beginning the staff were helpful and friendly.
Took a little while to get staff to accept that we booked and paid for a two room suite not a one room studio. Initially they tried to convince us it was OK for me, my wife and adult daughter to share a room. We prevailed and the room was fine, except it had no running water. Once again it took some time for the staff to understand that we had no running water (we were offered the one bed room studio as a fix at first). In the morning a very helpful maintenance man turned up and fixed the problem, in fact the shower was great! After that all was fine.

Hotel is extremely handy to access from Wynyard Station, we were staying a night in Sydney before flying out of the airport the next day. Also well positioned for Circular Quay and Darling Harbour to see Vivid while we were there. We opted for the buffet breakfast which was good. Also we were able to leave our luggage until we needed to go to the airport. Good value for the price.
Room was unfortunately quite cold as heating didn't seem to be working, just blowing cold air from airconditioner vent. Other guests were also commenting same. We weren't badly affected though so were comfortable enough.

The room was very clean, the beds comfy, shower was good and very handy to Wynyard Station, Very close to extensive dinning opportunities at Barangaroo and access Buses & Ferries. I was able to store my bag prior to check in and also after check out so I could go off and enjoy the day, and then collect my back later in the afternoon. Was great for access to Vivid and circular Quay.
The bin in the room needed to have a bin liners - just for cleanliness - my guest noticed this. While we checked in early, we were hoping for a room that faced the historic building out the front, rather than a large metal room view from the back of the building- but because we were out most of the time accessing the city & Vivid at night this wasn't really an issue too much. There was some noise from some kind of garbage truck accessing garbage pick in the lane below that was a bit noisy but wouldn't prevent me from staying again.

Hotel was lovely and the location was amazing, close to transport, shopping precinct and circular quay. Also convenient to get to driving from the harbour bridge. Staff were lovely and helpful and although we didn’t have breakfast, the deals were appealing.
The car park was the only let down of the stay as it was very narrow and steep for a larger car, in saying that, they did have mirrors to see if a car was coming the other way but it would be tricky to reverse if you were both on the ramp. If we came via train I would 100% book here, without a doubt but unfortunately the car park is a turn off when you have a large car (perfect for smaller cars). I also understand this isn’t something the hotel can’t change and it’s amazing they are able to offer this facility however I think it’s handy for future visitors to consider if they are driving in.

As female solo traveller (22 y/o) I felt very safe and comfortable in my room. The staff was very helpful when I locked myself out my room (in the middle of the night) and provided an extra card without hesitation or additional costs. They also fixed my bathroomsink while I did a quick walk around the near park, as the water wouldn't go away at first. Everyday at breakfast the staff would greet me friendly and wish me a good day when I left. Breakfast had all you need, eggs, toast, croissants, different spreads, fresh fruits and all sorts of yoghurt and cereals. The room was always tidy when I came back and there were fresh towels everyday.
The bathroom could've been cleaner. There were Stains on the grey tiles in the shower and some of the silicon was turning blackish. (the sink and toilet were always squeaky clean) (photographs: view from my room on floor 18)

Loved the location. The staff were very welcoming. Very clean. Easy access to public transport.
Renovations had started a few weeks prior to our stay. We were advised of intermittent noise disturbances, but felt they were excessive and started soon after 7am (either floor above or below us) Loud air con. Room wasn’t ready at check in time of 2pm had to wait approx 40mins. Then had to chase up linen/towel for sofa bed as it was not prepared prior to our stay. 2A 1C.

Early entry following a long travel time to get there, the room and its cleanliness. Location. I left a handwritten not to record my exceptionally high standard of care by Jyotsana Upadhyay. She was the most outstanding employee to encounter. Thankyou for employing staff like Jyotsana she is outstanding.
The cost of the breakfast a little on the high side if you aren't a big eater of buffet. The quality of food and options outstanding.
