Aside from the confronting exterior, one might assume the interior would match. In fact the bar staff were friendly and so were the patrons. the rooms were as described. basic but highly functional. i dont expect families will have a great experience, but for travellers passing through its a perfectly adequate accomodation. as a solo male traveller, didnt feel unsafe at any time.

Toothpaste and a disposable toothbrush may have been handy. Easily solved with a trip to Coles but toothpaste could have been provided easily considering everything else that was provided which was great. left my leftover toothpaste for future travellers One of the Bathroom gets flooded after a shower. Needs a little work, but does the job. Another cheap and handy addition to the rooms would have been a power board with USB ports for charging devices instead of just basic powerboards. I think many people would like not to have to carry heavy charging devices. Just a minor suggestion. Wasn’t really provided check out instructions so was left confused when no staff was at the location in the morning at checkout time: just leave the keys in the room when leaving.

The location was amazing, within walking distance to Circular Quay. Coles & rail transport were 5 mins away. The staff were friendly. The bed was very comfortable and clean, with beautiful warm wool blankets. Wynyard has an equipped kitchen room, that's a big bonus. They upgraded us to a very nice family room. Although there was some night traffic noise, the room was very very comfortable. The Vivid laser lights managed to shine lightly onto the rooms ceiling. That was spectacular. We will stay again, and Thank you Wynyard !!

There is a flight of stairs at the side entrance, but in the opening hours, you can enter via the pub.

Get off a plane, catch a train to Wynyard and then small walk to home. Great value for a old bachelor who works at bangers. Staff are amazing. They cannot do enough to help you. Reason I like your venue is that owner is true to its history. Do not ever renovate this venue. It is or will be iconic given its location and its history. A renovation will diminish its history. Love it. Sorry but I am passionate about old things being new in that precinct. Good luck with this venue.

Clean baskets that you put towels in within bathrooms. The baskets retain smelly bacteria. Doesn't worry a old shearer like me but a classy looking plastic solution regularly cleaned would eliminate odour in shower rooms. I love the place so take this as trying to help you.

Great Location, very helpful staff, great atmosphere in the pub and a great restaurant. Easy to get to from Wynyard, on the doorstep of the CDB, and you can get anywhere you need to go. Fantastic for a few nights, would suit business or leisure travelers.

Rooms aren't air conditioned - I stayed in early March and it was quite warm, but there is a ceiling fan and a window that opens. Not much room to put things - no shelves, fridge was inside the wardrobe and took up the entire space. No lift, but that is stated and it wasn't a surprise, but something to be aware of.

The WiFi connection is genuinely the best. Its really fast. The kitchen appliances is complete. And the staff. I didn't quite catch the manager's name. But HE IS SO WELCOMING!!! and so warm and just a pleasant. The housekeeping staff and the pub staff down stairs are exeptional! Hands down best Hospitality experience. Also the hotel is really close to the bus station and the train station so thats convenient. Might need to take 5 10 minutes to the nearest woolies but I dont mind that

The bathroom was okay. Sometimes its squeaky clean but sometimes it needs more cleaning (piled up trash bins and used towels.) Also there's supposed to be 2 bathroom on the 2nd floor but one of them isn't available. though most of the complimentary items in the fridge in the kitchen was outdated.

We loved the room. It was clean and perfect for our stay. The hotel staff were excellent. Easy check-in and check-out with no problems. Awesome location.

We were let down by buying the attractions booked through booking.com. We made a mistake on the booking date and would not get a refund on the original UNUSED tickets despite buying AGAIN FULL PRICE for the correct day, but the venue would have let us refund the unused day if we had booked directly with them. Utterly disappointed!

I loved the price, the location, and the room itself. It had everything I needed, and was very comfortable. I liked having a small window too, so I could look out onto the street and have a bit of light in the room while I slept.

Would have been nice to have a private bathroom, but the shared one was very clean and nice. Super big too. The traffic outside was a little noisy at the beginning of the night, but when it got later it was practically silent.
