Entire house to stay in. Comfortable beds and electric blankets. Nice kitchen Beds changed each week

not set out for people staying more than one night and living out of a suitcase. There needs to be at least one chair in each bedroom. There needs to be a chest of drawers in each room There needs to be a mirror in each room. there was no service i.e. bathroom/toilet cleaning in three weeks?? The house needs a deep clean especially the vents for the air/heating - it is blowing all sorts of debris into the house - not healthy. The leather settee is so low that both of us would need a crane to get out of it! Cater for all ages please and abilities. You need a mature woman to advise on the above!

Rooms were great - stylish, clean, good amenities, parking easy.

Just clarification on what breakfast you are paying for when choosing that option. On the info I read for the hotel it said offers A La Carte, but when we got there we were told a basic chef's breakfast was what was included for the price - very small selection of fruit, juice, croissant, toast, some yoghurt. They offered an upgrade to full breakfast (basic chef's breakfast + 1 x menu from a la carte + 2 x sides + 1 x coffee/juice for an extra $13pp.

Clean, modern room that was well equipped. Central location on the highway that was convenient for us visiting family in the area. Double glazed window really helped dull the traffic noise. Very cozy temperature. We have stayed at many motels in Mt Gambier when we visit my Dad here and this is the best that we will definitely book again.

A lot of traffic noise overnight. Most were muffled from the double glazed window but the noise from the truck brakes was annoying. Unfortunately there was a big domestic there on one night that we stayed which was very disturbing but this was certainly nothing that the accommodation staff could control.

We found The Commodore to be in an excellent location - after the drive from Adelaide we were looking forward to going for a walk and stretching our legs - the hardest part was deciding which way to go as there were numerous things to go and see in each direction. The room surpassed what I was expecting and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend dining in the on-site restaurant - we had dinner and breakfast in there and both meals were really impressive. The restaurant staff were very attentive. We would highly recommend staying / dining at The Commodore and would stay again if back in Mount Gambier.

The only little thing was the fan in the bathroom wasn't working so the steam from the shower remained in the bathroom which could lead to issues down the track for the room.

Great location. Easy with the car, pleasant stroll to main street. Excellent comfort with bed and very good cleanliness of room. The large sofa was very comfortable too- so often not the case in motels, great for reading, relaxing and watching TV. Excellent bathroom- easy to use shower, great toiletries.

It cost. Not a bargain but good value for rate paid. I was concerned about my room having driveways on both sides, near the main entrance but this did not prove an issue and they were full booked. .

Always great staying here, it’s clean & the location is great.

We paid for breakfast in the price & in the past you got to choose anything, but this time you only got to choose the continental breakie which was just ok, the juice didn’t get replenished the whole time we were there & you had to pay for tea & coffee. If you wanted bacon, eggs etc they were extra also, bring back the great breakfast you use to supply 😀

Friendly receptionist, good clean room with parking available directly outside my room. The TV was good and the ensuite was excellent. I didn't use the restuarant as the prices where a bit expensive for a simple work meal, so I went to a local pub instead.

The room backs up to the main road and was a bit noisy during the night with trucks and vehicles slowing down and going around the roaundabout. I was aware the room would be close to the road as there was a note when I booked the room.

great rooms, big and comfortable. Location was good. staff were very friendly and welcoming

curtain rod covering main window/entrance door come away from hangers. couldn’t slide curtain. had to stand on chair to feed curtain along rail to close for privacy. let reception know in morning, Maintenance will rectify

The staff all friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. That was lovley.

Can't really help the location but being in room 1 I felt like a truck was about to run right thru the room. Very very noisy with all that traffic. The glass curtain was filthy and it smelt like someone had been smoking in the room. Also at the restaurant there was food spatter on the wall and picture where we ate. Simple things to fix.

The siting of the Commodore was convenient if you have a car - just minutes from the city’s attractions, and also from the shops. We had a room at the back, so away from the main road, and it was quiet. There is a guest laundry though we didn’t use it. The restaurant was good but quite expensive - we had one breakfast and one dinner there. Coffee, tea , water and biscuits were provided. The bed was comfortable, and there was a sofa and armchair, and a small verandah with a table and chairs. The staff were very helpful.

The bathroom was small and not a lot of ventilation. There was no mirror in the bedroom.
