Just received my booking when I arrived, but treated like royalty and given a family room that was presented very well, comfortable with tub chairs and bed that was so comfortable, the aircon was turned on before my arrival into the room...very personable and polite management Was given extra room and leniency with car and trailer...went out of their way to make my stay comfortable

The management had just changed, and they had just taken on the establishment that is a little dated but with the focus on clients/ the customer they can only succeed ,

The room was clean and tidy with all necessary facilities. Check in and out staff were friendly. The gardens were pretty and the kids enjoyed running around and exploring. The dated decor was actually fun. I liked that it was slightly on the outskirt of town.

It didn’t bother us, but there is obviously a bit of water damage on other (empty) rooms, which some people might find off putting. Our rooms were NOT damaged, and this did not affect our stay at all. This is not an aesthetic motel, but fine for a one night stop over.

Very friendly knowledgeable staff, very helpful on arrival providing us with handy local information aswell as brochures of mt gambier and surrounding areas. Large room and comfortable beds, great value for money.

The rooms are a little outdated (but still function well) they are in the middle of renovating the whole place so this will not be a problem in the future anyway. Overall I was very happy with my stay

The hosts were expectantly friendly. They showed us good knowledge of Mount Gambier, also they were having a barbecue, for tea dinner which ever one you call it. So they invited us over as we got there about 6 pm and was going to head out for dinner anyway, but they put on a barbecue not only for us but for all the guys that were staying there for work they were finishing up on the Monday. During our stay at the motel the host checked in with us to see if we needed any extra milk or sugar or anything like that and that’s what I call an exceptional host will definitely recommend the accommodation to anybody I can speak of I have also left a post on Facebook that it was exceptional and all my friends should be there.

Affordable for a big family. Love the hallway connecting everywhere. Very friendly staff who gave us plenty of ideas on what to see and do. Can’t wait to come back and see what the renovations do to the property. Family of 4 adults, 8 kids and it didn’t break the bank

My family came down with gastro during our stay. The owners lent us duplo, puzzles and toys to help my 3 and 4 year old manage 4 full days in the room. We were still to sick to travel home so they let us stay for free while we got better. Solid family and neighbourly values here, and its why I will come back, I know I'll be cared for.

Still no drinkable water in the room, not an issue if prepared.

Big room, comfortable bed, shower was good.

Toilet backed up, room had a lot of dead bugs - not vacuumed around the skirting boards. A lot of weeds in the carparking spaces.

The hosts (husband & wife) are so friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable of the area. The place itself is not at it's best presentation & just waiting to be demolish and a new one will be built. We just stayed for one night which is the original plan anyway....... The vibrant personality of the hosts made up for the points👌❤️

Outdated but currently under renovations (patience is needed). People need to stop stealing lights so other people know where to pull in

The room was a lot big then we have had anywhere else in mt gambier. The staff were so welcoming and the room was clean and warming.

The double was a bit hard and the shower had no water pressure
