Cassie was lovely on our arrival , gave us a run down of where our room was , facilities, parking for our hire car. We ate at the restaurant all 3 nights , the staff picked up we we staying and actually got us a table( little wait 1 night but that's to be expected) , it was very busy a couple of nights to, service great and food delicious :) It really was a good location for the shops in the area, walking and getting to other destinations outside Devonport Loved seeing and hearing The Spirit of Tasmania turn to leave as well as the huge freight ships.

Great location, close to CBD and Spirit of Tasmania terminal. Great that parking is offered on-site, although limited spaces available (though parking is available across the road. Free 6pm-8am, then metered). Comfortable room, great size. Good value for money. Would stay again.

Bar staff cover the reception desk, but no signs to say this at the reception window. Spent some time waiting at the reception window before speaking to bar staff. Staff were very helpful though after this, great service. No lift available, so this is something for those with accessibility needs/ heavy luggage/ children/prams to keep in mind.

Great location, 10 minutes from the ferry terminal and near Devonport main town as well. A good collection of restaurants etc. in the area. Good facilities and clean room. Great view of the Spirit from the room window. Would certainly book again.

The check-in procedure took way too long; office staff isn't the most efficient with it. No chairs etc. for the elderly to sit while waiting to check in and the reception area isn't big enough to accommodate a big group of waiting people. Plus, the reception entrance is away from the parking so you either walk around the main road to get to it or walk through the restaurant area from the parking. Its just not the most efficient or practical design and needs to be improved. Also, one long staircase leading to the rooms and no lift access so not the best accessibility for elderly or wheelchair users.

Close to town. Easy to access. Nice fellow guests.

One fridge was broken and the other was therefore overloaded. Clothes drier did not have good instructions meaning I dud not know how to use it well - found iut kater from the motel cleaner who was lovely. The ladders to my bunk were phenomenally uncomfortable and the bunk was so far from the lightswitch that once I was up there I couldn't read and *then* turn the light out. Small things but altogether were an issue.

Food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing. If you stay in the hotel they make sure you get a table. You can see the Spirit of Tasmania from the hotel, but have to use highway to get across the river. The bedrooms all appear to be on the floor above the restaurant. Room is older style but very comfortable.

Be aware that there is limited parking close to the accommodation. However, there is another car park across the road. I didn't see a lift, so stairs to the first floor for accommodation.

Brilliant location in the heart of Devonport, close to buses and supermarkets. Large clean and well maintained rooms, with a comfy bed, quality and warm bedding, and a large ensuite. Bath over shower, plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, small (quiet!) refrigerator, writing desk with well placed power points. They were happy to mind a bag for a week, but there is also the nearby visitor information centre we’re bags can be stored.

A bit noisy due to it being an old building (squeaky floors, for example), and on Friday and Saturday nights, noise from the bar downstairs. On-site restaurant doesn’t do breakfast.

it seems the accommodation venue is home to a Pacific Islander agricultural working community- in a way, it’s great to see. On the other hand, they were a fairly noisy bunch! It was unlikely that group we’re paying the same Tarif. Fortunately, they settled the hollering down the hallway by about 10 pm….. but we were concerned earlier in the evening as to what sort of night we would have. Check in was also interesting (first it took them 5 minutes to serve us) - then it was the first time in ages we have had to produce ID and scan the credit card. But, it was convenient to the city and we dined in their well patronised bistro.

The room was of a good size, clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located to the Spirit of Tasmania berth which suited out needs perfectly. Although the carpark was fairly full both times (Over and back to Vic) we had no problems finding a park. The meals in the restaurant were reasonably priced and of an excellent quality.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Ideal location, short drive from the ferry terminal (we arrived after 9pm after travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania). It is very short walk from to everything you need. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and check out was simple. It ticked all the boxes for us for a one night stop.

We were a little cold as there was no doona on the bed, only a couple of blankets. No signage from the carpark directing us to Reception as you entered the pub from the carpark, but we just asked a member of staff at the bar and she directed us.

The location was excellent as we arrived on the late Ferry and only had a five min drive. The rooms are very comfortable and clean for an old style hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. Extra bonus was the communal kitchen and sitting room. Overall a great stay. Would recommend to Tasmanian Ferry passengers. The terminal is about a 40 min walk for those without a vehicle
