The whole Hotel has been beautifully refurbished Our room was very clean, bed was nice and comfortable with crisp white linen Room had lovely fireplace in wall Kept us cosy and warm, in -2 Degrees. There is a popular Restaurant downstairs.. Fortunately we had booked for dinner Guests were continually arriving, one lot left, another arrived…. Food was excellent, generous servings, and very reasonably priced All in all an extremely satisfying experience….. Will definitely frequent again!!!! A large gymnasium downstairs But we got our exercise climbing the stairs….. Loved it!!!!

Great location near the shops. Staff were exceptional, friendly & understood the need of cyclists (secure bike storage). Rooms & communal areas renovated in recent years. Bedroom (single) was small & basic but clean & comfy. Very good value for money & great way to support local business.

Not too much of an issue for me but note its location in a busy roundabout means it’s noisy. My window was chocked open for ventilation which means all the street noise could be heard. Also room right next to the stairs meant it was noisy as people ran up and down. Kitchen was small but sufficient, only thing lacking was a recycling bin.

Small hotel in the middle of town. You can walk to the river and there is a bar/restaurant downstairs and some options around too. Small room, but had everything you need including a heater and a warm blanket. There is a kitchen that can be used.

The shared shower was a bit of a mess later in the evening, but I guess that has mostly been the other guests staying here. There could be more possibilities to put/hang stuff in the bathroom though.

The room was lovely & clean. The meal in dining room was fantastic & served quickly. The staff were all friendly. Overall great.

We didn't like that we only had 1 key card. Each time 1 of us left the room we had to know where the other one was to get back in. Several times I had to message hubby to let me back in the room. The heater wasn't easy to figure out how to use & we were cold most of the night. The seperate share bathrooms were quite inconvenient, especially during the night.

We loved everything! This beautiful old building was everything I’d hoped for. The room was comfortable and warm with lovely furnishings. The staff were really very friendly and looked after us really well. The meals were Devine. The views were absolutely stunning and we wanted to stay longer but time didn’t permit.

The stairs were difficult with our luggage and my mum struggled a little but we managed. In an old building like this we didn’t expect lifts… just worth noting for people who may struggle with stairs. We did have the deluxe family room right at the top so there are other rooms on lower levels to accomodate for this.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked the well set out and spacious guest lounge area/TV room that provided a small kitchen with basic facilities. The hotel offers great shared bathroom facilities that are spacious and offer privacy The hotel has a good menu with great food The hotel is on the main road of the township over looking the river and close to local shops and businesses

Large room, comfortable bed and decent water pressure for a hot shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and pub feed was sensational. Would I stay here again - in a heartbeat.

Nothing - I have stayed in a few older pubs around the place and this one lived up to expectations. Can't complain if the beer is cold and the food is good.

Convenient close to shops and events. I only stayed overnight as I was travelling. Perfect for one person and much better than paying hundreds of dollars just for a bed for the night.

Sharing a bathroom. Not sure if it was the other guests or people from the bar downstairs coming up and using the facilities but, some have no consideration for others.

Stayed in l a beautiful family room with tv and bathroom. Bed was really comfortable, was spacious and quiet.

Initially paid for a cheap single room but the carpet was gross and shared bathroom across hall. Please change or clean the carpet, the room otherwise would have been fine. No kettle in family room although could have gone to shared communal area. Some dusting needed in the family room

Loverly old pub with great views from the veranda. The lounges and kitchenette were modern and well equipped. A dishwasher was provided and the area clean, great communal spaces. The bathrooms were individual, modern and very clean.

My bed was a little uncomfortable, when beds are updated would recommend king singles first a little more comfort.
