Close to cbd and price for the night very reasonable. It's also had restaurant and hot meals. Rooms old but clean and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and eager to help. Location is easy to find.

Probably the stairs as no ground floor rooms. But I knew that when I booked the room so just had to be careful using stairs. The menu was average I ordered snitzel and vegs. The vegs watery and tastless leftover from lunchtime maybe. Just get sick of salad and chips with everything. No one has variety any more.

One room but big enough to sit and play card games, bed comfy, food at the pub was discounted and was most enjoyable, good view of the Town, Great for a base when you are travelling to see sights in Launceston. Great price! Oh, I am not from Abkhazia , Georgia, I'm from Sydney, Australia!!!

We were in the first room, so entry exit door was a bit noisy. No room for suitcases but it was easy enough to go to the car and grab things.

For the price it was really good especially with the free drink vouchers too. The room was basic and dated but it had a good TV and a heater which was definitely needed. The staff were very nice and accommodating and it offered free parking but was also right next to a bus stop and was only a 10 minute bus from the town centre.

The room and public bathroom both very clean. The price is low during the long weekend. Air-condition working well It is located in the centre of Mowbray, Bar & bistro downstairs, there are many fast food, restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. everything is convenient.

No desk or chair in the room so it is not easy when I needed to use my laptop.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Not a luxury stay but knew that when booking and was fine as a place to put your head down whilst being out all day. Woman who checked us in was very friendly and as we didn’t use the bar facilities we didn’t see anyone else our stay. Toiletries were nice.

Nice clean room. Bathrooms are shared but are clean and property was quiet when we stayed so not really a problem. Nice shared kitchen facility.

Water pressure is disrupted in shared facilities but it is an old building so to be expected and for the price it’s really an outstanding stay everything is so clean and fresh

The hotel accommodation is really excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable and Mowbray has all the facilities I needed. I have now stayed there three times and am happy to stay there in any future visits to Launceston.

As far as accommodation goes, the price was very good. If I wanted a luxury hotel I would have had to pay three or four times or more what I paid at the Mowbray. I had a clean and safe room with a very comfortable bed. I also had access to bathroom and kitchen facilities. The fact that I could eat in the bistro and go straight to my room was a big plus as I am an older woman travelling on my own. No complaints.

One of the housekeepers is always bubbly. My nine year old and I stay at Mowbray Hotel often, value for money, clean, comfortable, even though a bar is downstairs, you don't hear the noise upstairs. It's close to take away, Coles, bus right out the front

I liked the price and the location of the place, close to coffee and shops where you could shop if you needed something, also next door is KFC so you could grab something to eat before you start your day.

close to a main road meant there was a lot of road noise, cars and trucks would rumble past and you would hear them early in the morning, not the fault of the hotel.
