I had a wonderful stay at Sports Garden Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The friendly staff stood out immediately, always welcoming and ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel was incredibly clean, which made my stay even more comfortable. I was especially impressed by the air conditioning, which worked perfectly and kept the room cool and pleasant throughout my visit. Another highlight was the location – it’s close to everything, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Whether I needed restaurants, shops, or attractions, everything was within easy reach. On top of all this, the price was very reasonable, offering great value for such a pleasant stay. Overall, Sports Garden Hotel provided an excellent experience, and I would happily stay here again!

We came to Launceston for Festivale and this was the perfect location, only a block from the venue. Great water pressure, comfy bed, clean and modern. At night there was an amazing DJ downstairs and we danced until the early hours.

Be aware that there is no parking onsite. Wasn't a huge drama on Saturday and Sunday as most of the on street parking was free. But during the week it could be a problem. Also, the pub across the road has VERY loud music until about 3am. Not a problem as I wear earplugs but something to note if you're looking for a 'quiet' location.

Staying at a pub my expectations were a little low, but as soon as we entered the pub and were greeted by friendly, cheerful and helpful staff I was pleasantly surprised !! Even the security guards out front were happy and friendly. You have an amazing team here so do what you can to look after them. Customer service was exceptional at all touch points of our stay. The room although very basic but brand new was fantastic and clean. The bathroom was spotless functional and the water was hot with good shower pressure.

If I had to be picky it would be that the pillows were not good and very soft and the room was sparsely furnished and needs a full length mirror perhaps

Continental breakfast in well appointed period dining room, home made compote, plunger coffee! Kiln Restaurant provided a most enjoyable meal, interesting menu, friendly and competent staff! Carolyn & Graeme the Custodians/Proprietors were very, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble!

Staff were very good. River Cruise and Brewery tour very close and a gentle walk into CBD. Good food and friendly atmosphere.

As warned some noise from hotel across road til 1am on Fri n Sat but it wasn't a big issue as I was very tired and sleep like a log.

Your staff was amazing friendly and very helpful Room was very clean, the bar was fantastic we come for the magpies pre game chat with the ceo Craig and you guys done a amazing job loved it all

The only one very very small thing was we could here to people next to us alot and they left the bathroom fan on and that's all we could here in a room all night, but as I said very small and hard for you to fix

My room was nice and very clean. It had good wifi. Bed was comfy. The shower had hot water with good pressure. The hotel is closed on Mondays and I was staying Sun-Tues so it was very quiet and there was no issue with the pub garden being next to my window. The hotel has a good security system.

I was missing some hangers / hooks in the room or bathroom.

It's a very nice place in a central location. The staff is super friendly and the food was great too. Rooms were clean (I really liked the modern bathroom with its big shower) and the bed was comfy.

No hangers in the room, almost no place to hang a dress up. A couple of hooks on the wall would be nice. And a rubbish bin in the bathroom is missing. Little things, but they would make a difference.

The pub was recently renovated and it was nicely done , The room was very comfortable and it wasn’t noisy from downstairs or outside with the double glazed windows

there’s no parking on the premises at all so you have to run around to find parking spaces and the very comfortable bed had a plastic underlay cover under the sheet which was not comfortable at all

Super clean. Staff very friendly and professional. They had no problem in putting up with our group of 50 year old delinquent women, getting blind on cocktails, shots and of course the customary greygoose vodka sodas. we all had a great time at the sports garden and Festivale. Thankyou
