We loved everything about Hotel Verge!! The hotel is centrally located and is beautifully modern, without being too minimalistic, with gorgeous furnishings and facilities throughout. The young staff were friendly, helpful and professional without being overbearing. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was just the right mix of class and comfort and the food was absolutely delicious!! (the service in the restaurant was also excellent). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Verge to family and friends, and we hope to stay there again in the future!

There was nothing to fault! :)

The whole process was a delight. Booking was smooth, checking in was just as easy. It’s always nice to walk in and see the same familiar faces behind the desk. Over the last two years, we have stayed at Verge 5 times and to be able to walk and be greeted by the same people as the last, really makes the stay a whole lot better and comforting! We tried the Diverge restaurant for the first time on this trip for the two breakfasts we had and wished we went sooner ! The food was unreal and the service was even better.

Limited parking. The carpark next door is great but when the farmers market is on, makes it a little harder to find somewhere! Especially when motorbikes take 1 whole spot. But other than that, all worked well!

What a great hotel in Launceston. Parking albeit can be limited, it’s free which is very rare for a hotel in the city. Check in was seamless and staff were always smiling and acknowledged us. Breakfast in the restaurant was great and I highly recommend booking! The rooms are very spacious with massive windows bringing in a lot of natural light. The bathroom had so many nice surprises-Kevin Murphy products, walk in shower, plenty of storage space above and below the cabinet, and the ledge under the mirror was fantastic for all your products! If you are there on a Saturday, a visit to the market next door is a must! There is a small (mini bar size) fridge in the room, great for storing the fresh fruit, juices and cheese purchased. We will definitely stay again!

My only small downsides are the barn door to the bathroom was rather loud and did leave a small gap. The curtain did not close all the way so a small sliver of light gets in every morning. And the bed and pillows are rather soft.

The staff are incredible! Natalie, you just made us smile every day, you are a great asset to this hotel! The rooms are so clean and bed was so comfortable. The hotel itself is immaculate, and walking distance to city centre. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t fault anything with our stay. I just would have liked the option to tip on card in the restaurant to acknowledge great service which it most certainly was. We are in hospitality and know it when we receive it. Thanks Oliver. You are a true hospitality star ⭐️

The room was very clean, tidy and spacious with a desk and comfortable lounge chair. The bathroom had a good range of toiletries and a big open shower. Tea and coffee facilities (including milk) were available and bottled water provided. The location is excellent as it is close to the city centre and bars and restaurants. The city park, a popular tourist attraction is directly opposite the hotel. Saturday farmers' markets are held in a carpark adjacent to the hotel - which was really convenient.

We found the bed pillows uncomfortable. We did not use the dining facilities so can't provide feedback.

The beds were so comfortable! Everything was extremely clean and the rooms were a good size. Clean towels and beds made up each day which was unexpected, but a lovely option. There was everything you could possibly need with a mini fridge, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, shampoo etc and even a notepad and pen provided. The food at the restaurant was so good I had brekkie there both mornings, dinner and even enjoyed a cocktail. Being able to store gear securely whilst hiking was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Would have liked a few more cocktail choices, but suspect they could have made anything anyway. Sliding doors to bathrooms have a pretty big gap which makes sharing a room with a friend a little awkward, but nothing turning the tv on and looking the other way couldn’t solve. Bit of a walk to town, but that was also a pro as it was quiet and close to the park.

The 'industrial luxe' construction of the building means that the walls are solid and the rooms are quiet. The restaurant has friendly staff and some excellent dishes on the menu. The location of the hotel is a little far from some of the popular tourist destinations (cataract gorge, seaport restaurants, art gallery) but an easy walk from the CBD and very handy for the Harvest market, design centre, city park, James Boag brewery and Invaresk.

The room did not have drawers or much other storage space to unpack, which can be a drawback when staying for a few days. There is only limited onsite parking but we had no trouble finding a parking place, and the adjacent council carpark is a good backup.

This modern hotel is located centrally, right near the City Park with it's monkeys, the Tasmanian Design Centre and an easy walk to the museum over the river at Inveresk. We had a spacious room which was well-appointed. The bathroom was huge - equipped for disabled access. Whilst advised that parking was limited, we were lucky, and it was very easy to unload and load the car from this undercover area at the end of the main foyer. Nicely appointed breakfast area. Helpful staff members.

There was quite a delay in receiving our breakfast on one morning due to some miscommunication in the kitchen - the manager generously credited me the cost of that course.

Extremely central, and a very nicely appointed hotel. Quite a few notches up from the usual accommodation for us, but was a nice way to celebrate finishing the last big leg of our bikepacking trip in Tasmania. As we arrived in town by bike, the staff were great and organised secure storage for our bikes. Yeah - we got some sideways looks, and interesting conversation with some other guests on the juxtaposition of departing a hotel like this, on bikes the next day. We had decent nights sleep, we were feeling great when we left the next day...

It was new, fresh and very clean. I loved the spaciousness, modern, minimalist decor. The bathroom was perfect - large shower with no glass door or curtain, large bench space. Furniture was leather. Bed was very comfortable. It was so quiet. We could not hear a sound from outside the room. Every staff member was welcoming and helpful. I am such a fussy traveller; there is many a five star hotel that has disappointed me but the Hotel Verge met all of my requirements. Definitely choose this hotel for your stay.

Nothing we didn’t like.
