The room was basic but clean and comfortable. I had a TV, WIFI, microwave , kettle , toaster and fridge. The bed was comfortable and beautifully made. The breakfast was good for the price. Jackie at the front desk was friendly, polite and helpful. I was able to walk into town in 20 minutes and it was a short drive to the mountain bike park at Spring Gully.

The parking was a little tight due to the building design. Longer style vehicles could find it hard to negotiate when the car park is full. The rooms were sound proof except for the sound from the carpark. I would have liked fluffier towels and a basin in the bathroom.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a reverse cycle air con and it was well soundproofed from noisy people nextdoor and no road noise at all. Microwave, toaster, fridge, plates and cutlery, jug, tea and coffee were provided, very handy to make a light breakfast of toast and/or cereal if you don't want to order breakfast. The bed and pillows were comfortable, a 2 seater lounge and small 2 seat table provided in the room and a small table and chair provided outside the room for a bit of fresh air when you need it. TV had internet access included in room rate, so more than just the standard free to air channels available. The owners were fantastic hosts, they waited and extra 2 hours after reception closed for us to book in. I rang to let them know we would be arriving later than expected and they were very obliging saying they would wait for us to arrive. Great customer service. There is a Coles supermarket 5 min walk away and a lovely bakery around the corner. Would be happy to stay again next time I'm in Bendigo.

No complaints at all, a very good stay.

Spacious, light, clean, comfortable room, effective air conditioning. Everything worked properly. Good value. Only 3-minute drive to town centre.

A bit too far from town centre for us to walk for dinner. No shade for guest vehicles. Didn't know where to park on arrival to avoid blocking driveway, which was used as a carport.

Extra blankets and hot shower.

The fact that there was a 2.4m vehicle height limit into the parking area which meant I had to leave my van on the street overnight.

Clean, friendly and quiet (which was super important to me), no road traffic at all.

I was really annoyed that the cleaning service came in and turned off my heater - it was freezing and I left it on for a warm room when I got back!!!!! They didn't change my sheets or towels or anything - just turned off my heater! That was the only disappointment.

Great location for our needs, easy check in. Easy check out. Had everything we needed for a short stay.

Hotel is old so looks dated but was clean. A full length mirror would be excellent in the cupboard.

Location was great. Close to everything. Played bowls at Bendigo East just 2 blocks away.. shopping was only minutes in the car.

Two nights were OK, last night room was invaded by insects. Everything else was good.

The property was in a great location not too far from the city centre but away from the hustle and bustle of town. Staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating to our requests and it was very well priced. Will definitely stay here again.

Emily was very helpful with the booking prior to my stay so I would say great customer service

All was good. Perhaps some information about the little bakery around the corner for my early coffee. It took me two days to find “Elmore Bakery” which was open early for coffee.
