The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, quite exceptional. The room was small but super functional with lots of little shelves. The shower had a good massage setting type head the actual area was again small but the water pressure brilliant. The art work is just lovely and the communal eating area for the café and restaurant terrific. We had dinner and were pleasantly surprised by how good the meals were.

The restaurant wasn't open on Sunday night for dinner. Parking can be a little confusing, if you cant get a park out front you can you to any of the boom gates in the area and just give the card to reception.

Bed was very comfortable and the room was compact but a comfortable size for me as a solo traveller. The Wi-Fi was quick and the staff were pleasant.

The shower didn’t drain properly and there was an obvious leak under the floor of the shower into the entrance. The carpet had old water stains which had a slight odor. I reported this to staff on checkout but the staff member didn’t seem interested. My concern was mainly ongoing damage and not my experience of the accommodation. I also ate one meal at the restaurant. I ordered the salmon for dinner and it was absolutely terrible. For $36 to have a hashbrown and old/soggy tomato salsa was very disappointing

Easy to find on the grounds of Bendigo Hospital. Good parking facilities. Excellent location in relation to the arts area and Ulumbarra theatre. Attractive lobby with very comfortable leather lounges and dining areas supplied by the Cafe staff for most meals each day. Excellent coffee and good food. A bowl of fresh fruit was a welcome touch in the entrance area. Registration staff were most helpful having been in touch regarding some concerns I had communicated. The hotel is an "Art" style decor and most attractive visually as well as being disability friendly. The rooms are justifiably described as compact but very careful consideration has clearly been shown in the provision of very ample storage spaces everywhere allowing complete unpacking of our luggage. The compact shower was wonderfully powerful and felt like a massage so the limited space was not as noticeable. The linen and bedding were excellent. The thermal blanket provided was very effective. The small balcony allows access to fresh air. The adjacent hospital was visited once by the helicopter ambulance as mentioned in one review but there was no traffic noise otherwise. The shared breakfast tables in the morning were a delight allowing us to make new friends and share our experiences with others of our visit. Our stay leaves a n excellent impression.

The bed was too soft for my individual needs. There was a loose rod on partnofnthe blackout blind which required attention while we were there.

The facilities and room were very clean and tidy. While the room is quite basic, were were not there to live and it provided a comfortable stay for out visits to tourist attractions. It also had a basic kitchen restaurant which, while not available on a Sunday night, is available on a Monday night when many local restaurants are closed.

The parking when you arrive late. It means that you have to use the hospital car park at the back of the facility and the use of cards, available from reception I think, to get out of the car park.

Rooms are small, but for just a place to sleep and watch some TV on a smart TV it was perfect. So close to the hospital, so great for families travelling to see sick relatives or friends.

Room was slightly small, when getting the double room the second bed for a child took away somewhere to be able to sit. But such a minor issue, I wouldn’t worry. Maybe there could be a mini bar, lots of people staying because the hospital is close would drink a beer or have a snack. Also room service would be great.

The room was clean and well appointed for a very small room. We felt very comfortable in the room and would visit again (even with the very short bed!)

It would have been nice to know the bed was short when we were booking. We found the room very comfortable and managed with the bed, however at 190cm feet were well off the end of the bed, even at 164cm, feet were right at the end of the bed. There was some road noise, but nothing we're not used to at home, this could be a problem for some though.

I have stayed a number of times of the past 12 months and always find the beds so comfortable and firm. The room is compact but well appointed. I do love the products the bathrooms for Hand washing and in the shower.

This time it was the noisy hefalumps in the room above mine on the 2nd floor. Very noisy late in the evening and no consideration for others around them. It took me some time to get to sleep unfortunately.

it was central to everything, it was very clean and the bed was amazing, so soft and comfortable. i also loved how there was a place to sit downstairs in the lobby and have drinks or a meal, lovely comfy couches too! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

the only downside we’re 2 things, the rooms are quite tiny so good for a short stay only, the road noise was pretty loud at night when trying to sleep especially given the hotel is right next to the hospital on a main rd.

fabulous location for me with mum in hospital- cafe is fabulous- takeaway options for your room are great when you have no idea what time u will b back & miss dinner 😊 room is small but all I need & having a microwave & coffee etc is amazing 😊

power board tripped out but easily fixed 😊 if you are late you have to park around the corner but no problem 😉 dinner 🥘 could perhaps go till 9.30 or 10 but I understand that it probably is not busy enough late to warrant wages 🤔

I really loved the artistic touches outside and inside, friendly staff, secure parking, proximity to the gallery, parks and walking trails! It was fun to read about the children’s’ artworks from the early learning center nearby, and the dining area had a wonderful atmosphere. Having free WiFi and the extended open hours for the cafe was a bonus!

I probably should have asked for a larger room as it was difficult to set up my keyboard between the beds to practise (if I was traveling for holiday only it would have been perfect)! A screen door for the balcony might be nice so that you can get fresh air from outside without letting in insects?
