This place has everything thought of it is a complete home away from home 🏡 to our surprise there was also a well stocked pantry and fridge with both hot and cold breakfast options like bacon and eggs tomato's and mushrooms or Cereal options fresh 1 liter milk and a few other thoughtful things 😀 and on new years day when not much was open it was a nice treat the spa is awsom and powerful,bed was super comfortable with nice sheets and dooner,,the surrounding areas are beautiful especially if u need a break from a busy city life 10 out of 10

Maby a screen door on the front door so we could have kept the front door open at sunset 🌇 due to mosquitoes

The cottage is joined to another, in the garden of the owner’s property, set amongst spectacular tall eucalypt forest. Ten minutes drive (or walk through forest) is the small town of Emerald and the famous “Puffing Billy” station. Inside, the cottage is spacious with good heating and bathroom, comfortable bed, sofa and chairs. The host had left us full breakfast items to cook, along with a supply of seed to attract and feed the local rosellas. The kitchen is well-appointed, though could do with one or more larger saucepans.

It would have been useful to know that breakfast items were provided for our first day, as it would have saved some shopping!

Location was beautiful, so serine in the woods and so quiet. Loved the BBQ which we used both nights. Loved the pet friendly element and the very well stocked kitchen. The best thing by far was the free bottle of fizz/wine and the complimentary breakfast. Me and the wife loved a lazy Sunday morning breakfast of pancakes with bacon 🥞🥓🍳🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 can't wait to come back!

Dogs can't be on the furniture but I understand why this is asked of guests and it shouldn't put you off.

The breakfast food supplied was excellent and all the facilities were there to prepare a very nice breakfast each day. Cleanliness was excellent and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Good heating and cooling.

We had to use the trundle bed and we did not find that ideal as my friend is fit but elderly. Perhaps a fold out bed would be better? Some people really like peanut butter so could that be added to the already impressive breakfast pack? (Asking for a friend)

What was not to like 🙂 it was cosy , relaxing and homely. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. Everything you could need for your stay is included. The bed was comfortable, the spa amazing and the gas log heater created a perfect ambience . Peaceful , relaxing and quiet. There was everything in the kitchenette for a breakfast fit for a king. The surroundings are stunning, you really do feel you are in the forest, glorious trees and plants, wild life . I was extremely impressed and will definitely be back again , thank you so much for a perfect night away . Highly recommend

The fact I couldn't stay longer

So many lovely personal touches to the accommodation that made the stay all the more beautiful. The champagne on arrival was a treat, too! The whole cabin was beautiful and cozy. The backyard was a great size for the dogs. Very welcoming of pets and no questions on breed or size, just their names, which is a relief when you are trying to find accommodation with pets.

The breakfast facilities were amazing. The spa was just what I needed. The room was cozy and comfortable. The little touches like the chocolate was lovely. The location was gorgeous. Paul greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Car parking was great and easy. It was absolutely perfect and my husband and I will most assuredly be back.

Glenview is beautiful - very comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet. The forest surrounds are wonderful. The attention to detail in the cabin is second to none - we appreciated all the thoughtful touches - including the welcome treats for our dog. What a great place and its lovely to be able to stay somewhere so beautiful with a dog. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time!

Loved the quiet location and the thoughtful extras that Paul and Wendy included! We were left with a fully stocked fridge for breakfast, a complimentary bottle of wine and even our dog was left a bag of treats! Excellent communication leading up to our stay as well. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at Glenview Retreat. A really cosy cottage in the Dandenong's. Our dog loved it there. It had a fenced in back garden. The spa bath was lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast that the hosts had provided. Beautiful walks in the area - thanks for the tips on where to go.
