I loved everything about it! I travelled to Melbourne just to attend a wedding at the Werribee Park Mansion, and I flied in and out of Avalon Airport - no need to go to the city, so this Holiday Inn was perfect! 1. It's close to the wedding venue; 2. It's just next to the Skybus Werribee stop on the Avalon-City line; 3. I was able to check in early at around 11am and check out late at 2pm; 4. They have a work zone in the reception lobby for people who need to work after check-out like me, and I could still use their wifi after check-out (they have super fast internet in the room, the reception lobby on level 8, and even the lift lobby on the ground floor!) 6. Staff are so very friendly :) 7. I love the floor-to-ceiling window in the room and the beautiful view!

I loved the buffet breakfast, great value for money. The rooms were very clean, well set up and comfortable. The beds were quite hard but not too bad to sleep on. I loved the bar/restaurant setup and view, food and beverage staff at the breakfast buffet were very helpful and great.

The room service late night staff were very inefficient (male), had to call us 3 times to advise the ice cream and milkshake we ordered were unavailable. Reception Staff were ok, my client in connecting room 1028 was overcharged 1x person breakfast after we advised reception that there should only be 5x breakfast buffets charged to his room account. These staff seemed confused and not trained very well. Other than that, perfect!

We booked 2x rooms. Overall the Hotel gad Clean facilities. The highlight was the restaurant dinner, flavours are amazing. The daily breakfast was included in our package. Great value!! Will visit again next vacation to Melbourne.

Initial check-in was a bit strange with receptionist, slow to check in, as she was new. My only main disappointment was in the housekeeping, we stayed 5-6 days & they didn’t change or clean beds daily. I had to make my own bed 3/5 days, as they were late. The housekeeping service was not at standard.

Staff all lovely, professional, friendly, helpful. Wonderful views from restaurant/lounge area. Beds are more firm than I like, but were still comfy and the pillows were excellent. Great options forvaried degrees of lighting in room and USB charging in several powerpoints. Dimmable alarm clock? Yes, the hotel gods were definitely smiling on us! Great to have twin double beds (pretty sure they were Queen or King). Bathroom clean & great shower. I love that the soap, shampoo, etc is in full size mounted pump bottles; you won't run out, and it's much better for the environment than all those disposable tubes. Buffet breakfast was a good range - even had a special kids selection. Fruit, mini pastries, variety of breads to toast, spreads, hot foods (incl automatically cooked to order pancakes... novel!), the usual hot foods, cereals, 3 juices, yoghurt, even some salad veg.... and probably more I've forgotten. Restaurant meal was good quality and very enjoyable, especially with the view.

I prefer a softer bed, but these were still very comfy and were great quality beds. A pool would be nice, but I do get why this place doesn't have one.

Very clean and comfortable The staff at night were exceptional friendly and extremely welcoming and accommodating to all our needs they even moved a table into the bar so we were able to have dinner. Told us to head up to the room and come back in 10-15 minutes and they were able to accommodate the three of us for dinner without a booking, which was much appreciated after we had a long day and didn’t want to go out for the night to find dinner, my elderly mother was very happy to know she didn’t have to wait or walk around to find a restaurant. The food was fantastic and wait staff were very nice.

Front desk staff lady was very welcoming on arrival, but when try to get in to hotel late night after work had to call front desk and was not able to comprehend what front desk guy was telling over the speaker and he didn’t want to explain or repeat simply didn’t open the lift and kept silent . Was waiting outside and when called again was very rude and aggressive on answering . Certainly not the attitude you want from a front desk staff of a hotel . Either this guy need training or he is best serve in area where no direct communication with customers

Got an early check in, staff were all lovely and very helpful. You guys make a great coffee, and the kitchen puts out delicious food! Room was spotless, spacious, modern with a nice view. I had an issue with some lights and the bar fridge but that was very quickly seen to by the lovely maintainence staff. Parking was easy, I'll definitely stay again next time I'm back in Melbourne.

Parking wasn't cheap at $20 a day. First day I didn't have trouble getting in or out. However, every time I left for the last 3 days, it tried to make me pay $5. Then I had to wait for someone to let me out every time. Don't feel like I got adequate service from the parking staff. They should have been able to fix that issue instead of being so blazay about it.

Property had an amazing ‘family’ feel to it. The common areas had all little pockets where different families could have a lovely space to spend time with their family and enjoy each other’s company. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and it was excellent - everything was fresh and a wide range. Kids eat free is great. Mostly the hotel review is for the kids and included “how bouncy was the bed” and they got a free ice cream for handing it in. As a parent, if my kids are happy then everything else is wonderful - so this really appealed to us.

We found that the air felt really ‘hot’ all the time. Would have like some air cons going or something to circulate the air better. This was the only downfall

Location was excellent for event we were attending nearby. As people who do not frequent that side of Melbourne it was so lovely to find accomodation that met and even exceeded our expectation. The King Suites were lovely spacious and bed was so comfy. Will definately be our go to accomodation when needing something that side of the city.

On possible negative was not having anyone on the bar after check in times, we were standing around for close to 10 minutes before we decided to head to the nearest pub instead.

Comfy, clean and spacious rooms. Black out curtains work great! Radio alarm with built in charging dock is cool too.

Entire bathroom floor gets wet when you shower, hate these open showers but thats personal preference. Paid Parking - if you paid for parking via the hotel it counts for unlimited entry/exit but be careful at checkout, the parking lot might try a little cheeky sly and charge you on exit. Let them know its been paid for thru the hotel.
