A perfect gem of a hotel in a splendid location along the langerei canal, 5-10 minutes walk to the centre or there‘s a bus stop right outside. Very convenient if arriving by train. Marc and Leuve are perfect hosts, very welcoming and full of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The breakfasts are absolutely splendid - fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of bread, croissant, pastry, bread and cheese all served in a very elegant room. The public areas are beautiful. We had a room on the 1st floor with a canal view which was lovely

location is really excellent, 10 minutes walking from the centre (and from the windmills if you go the opposite direction). The neighbourhood is clean and nice; the parking is 30 metres away and quite cheap (20 euros per day) given the hourly rates on the street; staff extremely nice and welcoming. We also received recommendations for dinner and a very thorough walk through of the maps. A very nice, clean and elegant environment, facing the canal.

It is an old house on a canal, with a lot of character and charm. Easy bus ride direct from the train station. It was a nice walking distance from the center of town so out of the tourist craze but a good and easy walk through interesting streets to the heart of the city. Also a close walk to the outer ring with windmills so the location was ideal for us. The owners are on site and very attentive, the breakfast was lovely, and the sunflower shower might be the best shower I've ever experienced, with perfect water pressure even on the top floor. The views from our room were also amazing. And it had a/c.

The owners of Hotel ter Duinen couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. They were always available to answer questions and give suggestions to explore Brugge and surroundings. Because of them, I ended up taking the little river paddlewheel boat to Damme, which was a unique experience. The hotel itself is just beautiful, with a small central courtyard garden and historical details to admire. Each morning, breakfast is a little feast served in the light-filled dining room. Ter Duinen lies just outside of the main tourist area and as such is perfect to explore some more residential neighborhoods on your way to the Markt. It is close to the Jan van Eyckplein, which is quiet and has several excellent restaurants. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We can’t say enough about this hotel. If there was a 20star rating we would give it. The couple who owns the hotel are wonderful. They provide excellent service and their breakfast is amazing. Hotel is very clean and all the staff are friendly and amazing. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. We were so sad to leave.

Absolutely nothing at all.

The property was located conveniently to the bus stop. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing!!!! We had a couple of special requests and the staff surprised us by providing the needed oat milk and gluten free bread. We felt very special.

There were no negatives. We felt very safe. We even walked a few times to the square and found it a pleasant walk. You should be aware that there is no air conditioning. Normally, that would probably fine as the evenings are cool enough to offer redlined by opening the window.

I stayed for three nights with my wife and found that this hotel fully deserves all of the excellent reviews that I had based my booking on. The room gave us everything we needed including very comfortable bed, very nice bathroom and two layers of double glazing provides excellent insulation. Over and above that, the hotel provided a very friendly and helpful welcome, plus some character and charm which more modern hotels lack, and the breakfast was the best that we have had in any hotel in any country. The location is at the side of the canal in a very quiet area, about 15 minutes easy walk from the market square in the centre of the city.

The personal touch provided by the owners, a married couple, added to the loveliness of the stay: Madame's serving of the breakfast, her really nice personality and Monsieur's warm welcome and continual presence at the Desk, with plenty of helpful info. on places to see, etc.. (The breakfast had been ordered in advance so that it was served by the staff immediately on arrival every morning, hence no queuing at buffet tables etc.. Also, it was copious and delicious.) The decoration was beautiful, both on the ground floor (dining room and veranda/court yard) and in our bedroom, with its spacious bathroom, as well as on the landings on the staircases. Location so central, all within easy walking distance of the hotel.

This charming hotel in Bruges has the best breakfast that I can remember in a BnB style. Fresh from the market and so much variety. The location along the river canal was perfect for an easy after dinner walk that made me not so concerned about all of the Flemish stew and frites that I ate each night. I also felt more personal attention for a family of 4 than from any chain hotel, no comparison. I would highly recommend a stay and we are already planning our next visit.

Centrally located hotel in a charming historic building close to the historic city center. Owners are very kind and welcoming, offering you a great breakfast with a variety of bread juices hams and cheeses. Room is fine, bed is good and we did not hear any road-noise despite having a room at the front/road side. Ample of parking options along the canal, also parking garages nearby

While it didn’t bother us, there were a few stairs to climb to get to the room - the elevator would get you almost to the room as well, just a few stairs remaining
