I've stayed here before, good parking for a van and only 1 mile from the centre of Ieper. The rooms are comfortable and warm with good levels of cleanliness. All staff encountered were helpful. We had an evening meal on this visit [I've not done so on previous visits] it was very nice and reasonably priced. There is always a good selection for breakfast.

Although it didn't affect me personally, the 'boardwalk' between the two buildings became very slippery when iced up; I saw a few guests exit the door onto the boardwalk and slip, having to grab the handrail to prevent themselves from falling over - perhaps it would be an idea to treat the area with a non-slip coating or grip tape?

We loved the breakfast and there was lots of choice, we were able to take our dogs in with us which we really appreciated as it made it nice and easy for us to eat together.

The evening meals were very expensive. It would be nice there was more choice of reasonably priced meals especially as after a long day of travelling, its nice to stay in and eat at the hotel as we book our hotels stop overs to break up longer journeys. Here we have to go out to eat, which we can do for less than half the price of the hotel meals.

Breakfast was available until 10 am. Arriving 30 minutes before the finish time, apart from a few slices of stale bread, the available foods on offer where fresh and plentiful. Self service choice was good however, the coffee machine/s was poor.

Short on staff. On my arrival the male receptionist was busy serving drinks, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for check-in. Other folk were also waiting. The receptionist also acted as waiter in the restaurant. Being busy didn't help; Poor chap was rushed of his feet, He should be congratulated for his efforts.

A simple, straightforward hotel with good, free parking on the premises. Quality breakfast. Rooms were functional and quite. Great value for money, you get exactly what you see. Staff super helpful and very friendly. Perfect as a base camp for exploring surroundings of Yper.

It is around 15 minutes by walk to the centre of the city, but its clearly stated. Coming by car or tour bus is probably your best bet here anyway.

The room was spacious and clean. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment. The hotel is situated some twenty-five minutes walk from Ypres town and we had a problem getting a taxi to come out and collect us. The hotel reception did not have a list of taxi companies that we could contact, which again was inconvenient.

Location was ideal for what we required. Breakfast was typical continental style, which had wide choice and good quality.

We chose out of city centre for ease of parking which this location provided. It would have been nice if receptionist added value to check in eg where are you from, where are you going, do you need any help with directions or what to do in Ypres.

Staff were really friendly - from the reception staff to the hospitality staff. When we had our breakfast they were really good because we don’t understand the other languages we’re English speaking from Australia and it was explained to me fully when I enquired about what certain items were on the breakfast bar and nicely, no problem

Room was a little crammed

The reception we received on arrival was excellent. Our room was well eqipped and was most comfortable. We had brekfast and dinner in the hotel and were impressed with the high quality of food. The location of the hotel was ideal for us as it was close to the City Centre and convenient to access main roads

Good location. Good price. Good food. Great staff. Stayed there before and will probably stay again.

Perhaps more choices in restaurant. Bill was incorrect but unable to resolve issue at desk. Had to sort amongst us as wrong people charged. Main car park not good for motorcycles but able to park elsewhere.

The property is in walking distance to Ypres town, the parking is good with plenty of spaces. The breakfast is good

The check in at 15.00 is not convenient and looking at the other guests waiting to book in i suspect they feel the same.
