The location was what brought us there. It was beautiful and peaceful around the lake and it located just 8 km from the closet beach. There was plenty of parking space. The service at the restaurant was very good and we loved the food and beverages there.

One of the first staff at the concierge was not so informative. She didn’t inform us about any rules or the facility of the hotel. We came there we got the keycard and that was it. There was no more explanation. The keycard was not working because she forgot to activate it and there was no apologising as well. The second staff, a bit older, was very nice and informative. So she made up for her colleague.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Their warm hospitality truly enhances the overall experience. I mean the building it self from the entrance to room are super clean. It is very bright and modern.

Nothing that I didn’t like. It gives you a little bit a fancy modern Clinique vibe. Everything is made that wheelchair guest will have the most freedom possible. Extra large doors, all doors open automatically. Everything is wheelchair friendly. Since it’s next to a lake don’t forget your mosquito repellent during the summer evening.

Modern spacious hotel, built in a circular shape, full length window wall for beautiful view outside, feeling of a clean environment next to a lake. I went for a 2 km run around the lake on the designated footpath. Breakfast was wonderful. Brugge is close and ideal for a stay here with a car.

The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice, all very good quality, met a variety of dietary needs. The room was fabulous, outstanding size, very comfortable, excellent inclusive space. Lovely setting and great access to Bruges. Loved that all the hotel was suitable for all guests.

Tiny things- USB plugs would be a bonus and a squeegee in the shower wet room as the water didn’t fully drain away.

It must firstly mention that the hotel is for people with special needs, therefore the interior is a little "hospital vibe". That caused us a surprise at first. When we were used to the theme, it was actually a nice experience. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The view from the restaurant to the lake was spectacular. The hotel location is also very good to visit nearby beaches and Brugge (by car). The sauna is free during the evening but we rented it 1 hour to enjoy our great private time in the middle of the day. Our dog was welcome at the hotel and he enjoyed walking around the lake alot.

Pity the dog-friendly rooms are only at the ground floor, whereas rooms with the lake view are on the first floor.

Superb setting, providing a very relaxing environment to unwind. The restaurant serves fresh food of a high quality, with wonderful views across the lake. Very spacious facilities, good for our dog and other guests. 12min by car into Bruges

You probably need a car to go elsewhere, a bicycle might work

Sauna is the best I ever had. Big and private. Breakfast much variety and love hot chocolate so much. Staff are polite and willingly to help though a bit limitation of language. Rooms are mostly for special people but it didn’t bother me at all. Provide birthday drink cards for me.

Only one thing is check out 11 am. Have to pay extra fees even asking for 1 hour more. But, still, let us do sauna. so, it is okay.

Domein Polderwind is located at a beautiful lake and has a very calm surrounding. The staff was very friendly, and the food in the restaurant was great especially given the relatively low prices. It is a perfect accomodation if you want a quiet get away.

There was only 1 big towel while there were two of us. No major issue, but a small detail that made it just a little less amazing.

The rooms were very clean. Very specious. It was comfortable and had almost everything we needed. Breakfast was nice and staff were great.

The main downside is poor lighting at night. It isn't easy to find as not much signage. We were unable to use the facilities as apparently they closed on Sunday.
