The staff was great, especially Pablo at the front desk, who helped us at the check-in. The rooms were clean and perfect for the family. The breakfast was great; you can choose from a great variety of dishes. The beach is about a 10 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is at a good location surrounded by great restaurants, shops, laundry service, and cafe's. Although the room did not have a coffeemaker, the roomservice staff was available to serve you coffee or tea anytime. The pool and the gym at the rooftop were beneficial and you can enjoy a great view of the city, sea and mountains.

There was nothing I did not like.

This was our first time back in the Americas in nearly three years, and it was just about as good as it was then, the same value for the price we paid. The rooms are nice and clean, the shower is good, the entrance, dining area, and roof are all nice places to be. All of the staff is nice and accommodating, as always.

The bidet in the bathroom split apart and water went shooting about until I shut it. It was quickly fixed, but either someone played with it or some things are beginning to wear out there. The breakfast room was much busier than in the past and we had trouble even finding a free table.

friendly, helpful team. well located two blocks back from Copacabana Beach. plenty of restaurants and shops within easy reach. huge comfortable bed, hot shower, lovely pool area on the rooftop with great views.

The pool is quite small, limited shade, you cannot charge your room at the bar.

Staff was very kind. Very silent rooms. Good air conditioning. Wide bathrooms. Comfortable bed.

The WiFi/internet infrastructure is undersized for the needs of all the guests, and this makes it fail to be online most of the time. Swimming pool water looked somewhat dirty. The reservation system for tourist daytrips does not work: they could not manage to reserve for us a trip to the Cristo Redentor, we ended up booking it on our own. Too few electrical outlets near the bed.

The room was modern and comfortable and the pool area was nice for an afternoon swim. We received friendly service from the front desk who spoke both Portuguese and English.

The Netflix on the TV in the room doesn’t work and the regular TV including the cable channels doesn’t have subtitles (and cable TV here in Brazil usually has the ability to do subtitles on movies) so if you’re not Brazilian there’s almost nothing you can watch on the TV besides CNN.

The hotel is good, but for the price we paid, I would say it is very good! The location is perfect, almost everything you need is close by, the rooms were always being cleaned, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom too...everything was very organized

We ordered food delivery in one day, and unfortunately when asking for cutlery (Fork and Knife) the hotel ended up refusing to lend me them, we even asked if we could pay for it, but there was little conversation. I had some problems with the Wi-Fi connection too, and since there was somedays that i was working from my room, it was bothering me a little.

Breakfast was nice and the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.

The wifi didn’t work well even though it would “connect”. The tv had Netflix and YouTube but did not work due to the wifi not being potent enough. Pool water wasn’t very clean. It wasn’t anything that bothered us that much but it would’ve made the stay even better.

Better wifi than the Atlantis hotel which was more expensive.

The staff did not make my bed completely the first night. They just folded the top sheet, leaving the bottom sheet completely disheveled. When I got into the bed at night and felt the bottom sheet all over the place I had to literally turn on the lights and re-fold the entire bed.

Perfect hotel in a great location. It's a 5min walk to Copacabana Beach and the neighborhood has nice restaurants and bars :) ideal for a first time visit to RJ. The Rooftop has really nice views and you can see the cristo redentor. The pool it's a nice plus. The staff from the reception is super friendly.

The pool area it's a bit too small and the breakfast area is a bit crowded in the morning and plus the quality is not the best for a 4 star hotel, not too much variety...

A great place to stay. Two blocks from the sea front which meant it was quiet at night. Lovely roof terrace, spacious, clean room and really friendly staff. A large hotel yet they remember names of guests. I would say here again.

Breakfast dining area can get a bit busy if you are not early. Staff worked really hard to manage so many people at once.
