The price of this hotel is excellent, especially for everything you are getting. We arrived at 1 am and a gentleman came out immediately to help us with our luggage and get us checked in. The lobby of the hotel is very nice and the breakfast room is excellent. They have waiters every morning clearing out plates and refilling the breakfast buffet which was one of the best in my 3 week travel through South America. The beds in the room are comfortable and the shower had great pressure. Our room also faced Christ the Redeemer which was really nice. This is an excellent economical option for travelers and I would definitely stay here again.

The elevators were a little slow but this is a very minor thing.

Excellent location, despite being three blocks away from the beach, friendly staff, easy check-in, good breakfast, comfortable bed, good room size, excellent shower, good cable TV and air conditioning.

The bathroom was working fine, but seemed to be a little outworn - stained mirror and kind of old water taps, floor and towels. Bed skirt was stained (not a big issue, but it does not look good).

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Our room was allocated and when we arrived there the cleaner was still working on it. After a few words between the cleaner and reception Joselito, the young man who checked us in, arrived with another key to the 14th Floor. He upgraded us to a suite. The suite had dining room, living room, separate toilet, spacious double bedroom, bathroom with sauna, shower and jacuzzi bath The location was perfect with easy access to all amenities. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is continental style with an adequate choice of food and drinks.

Stayed here because it was a 10 minute walk from the beach. It was perfect. Didn’t use the rooftop pool apart from once due to lack of seating space and the pool was quite cool. But the views are great from the roof. Room had a lot of space, comfy beds but does need a bit of updating in regards to doors and closet as they seemed old and not fitting in with the style but didn’t impact the stay. Great food and drink places nearby. Metro 2 mins away from hotel to take you straight to centre. Breakfast was very good, a couple of items varied throughout our stay but generally tasty. Hotel provides tours and football games you can attend, at a cost of course, but it was helpful as we got to see Fluminense play Flamengo.

Everything was good, great location, slept well, the place and bathroom were clean, breakfast was varied. Rooftop bar as in the pictures, some people were swimming. Can see Christ the Redeemer on the right side of the rooftop. For food and temperature intolerant people: for breakfast no lactose free milk, they had oatmeal and coffee and tea (incl. hot water), pre-packaged cottage cheese, pre-packaged strawberry Joghurt, 3 types of fruit (watermelon, melon and papaya), had eggs and device to grill the bread, quite strong aircon for the breakfast, some warm meat/sausage was available too (with onion). Had pão de queijo (cassava + cheese pastry). For lunch the affordable option would be a choice of pizzas, other dishes rather on expensive side (but not crazy).

The buttons of the thread mill in the gym seemed broken, no cable visible, not plugged in, just deco. I saw one person working out on a cross fit device. There was an aircon but haven't tried turning it on. Felt just one block too far from the beach :D

The hotel is a real 4 star with good size rooms, high standard of cleanliness, great breakfast and good facilities. The wifi was good as we had a router in our room. The rooftop pool is lovely with great views and staff serving food and drinks.

The gym is very small for a hotel of that size and the equipment is old, we expected modern equipment for a 4 star hotel. The connecting door in our room was a nightmare as we could hear everything next door were doing and saying, which is very annoying late at night and disturbed our sleep. We spoke to reception on a couple of occasions and was rudely dealt with by the young man on duty, which is not acceptable customer service. Speaking to me like I am a friend he is arguing with is unprofessional and rude. Hopefully this young man receives necessary training to improve his skills going forward.

Andre and Jose, two fantastic reception staff, always helped me book all my sightseeing trips, and nothing was too much for them. Great room on the 15th floor (only 4 rooms on this level), and next to the small gym and rooftop pool Pretty good selection at the included breakfast Great views from the rooftop pool, can see Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Load Mountain Decent size room Nice powerful hot shower Good cold aircon Kept my room on as a day to day basis, as I wasn't how long I would be staying Supermarket round the corner with ATM Kept my bags til I came back in the evening for my Uber to the airport

Was a bit of a trek to the prom and onwards, but nothing too bad

The location was great. Quiet but within walk to the beach. The staff was nice and answered all the questions we had. They also let us check in early with no problem. We also booked a tour with the hotel and it was pretty nice as well.

The breakfast was bad in my opinion. The wifi was okay, but not very fast. The pool was very small but nice. The elevator always took forever and was extremely slow to go up the floors.

The personal didn't treat us as guests, they were treating us like friends. The room was extremely comfortable, communication was perfect, everyone was more than friendly and storing our luggage before check in and after check out was possible without any problems. I'm definitely planning to go there again.

Room was a pretty decent size. AC worked well. Breakfast was tasty. The bathroom was really big. Beds were comfortable. The staff at the reception was friendly. Communication was good, wanted to change a bed type last minute and it was not a problem.

They charged my for a water which was in the fridge. There were 4 small bottles of water and nothing else, I thought it was for free. Didn't expect them to charge me for that.
