For the price of this hotel, the location is fantastic - you are incredibly close to the beach, and close by to lots of restaurants and bars in the central Copacabana area. The inclusive breakfast was delicious too, with lots of fresh fruit. But the best part of this hotel is the roof terrace pool and bar - we made sure to visit this every day! It was nice not to always have to go to the beach, which is full of people trying to sell you things. You can see the full stretch of the beach, sugarloaf and the Christ statue from here.

The sound isolation in the room was terrible. We could hear conversations in the next room word for word, and the sound of the lift going all night. We requested a room change, but this was not possible. So bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The amenities of the room are a bit basic too (no iron, stationary etc.). The general feel of the room was a bit tired too.

Great location just one street back from the beach. The staff were all extremely helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast which put us on for either a day sightseeing or chilling on the beach. Add 5 minutes to your planning as the lifts seem to take an age. Small roof terrace is a nice bonus and don't forget to look round to the right as you can see Christ the Redeemer from there. Some nice restaurants nearby - our favourite was NOVO where we had two cracking meals for a great price

The room is on the small size and we found that our two suitcases could only go on the floor so spent the whole time either tripping over them or climbing over the bed. Not a major problem but if like us you are travelling with larger cases you might want to upgrade to a bigger room

This was a really good hotel for me and my wife. Check in was easy. The location is really good and quiet. Plenty of places to eat right around the hotel and the beach was 1 block away. The bed was gigantic and there was plenty of space to throw our crap around. Nice balcony and the shower was top notch. I also liked the pool area on the top floor. Very nice and I was able to smoke my cigars up there.

The towels could be better but not bad. The garbage can in the bathroom needs to be bigger. Maybe put something at the bottom of the door so the light does not shine under it from the hall.

Fantastic location, only one block back from Copacabana beach. Older hotel as people have already mentioned, but our room was really spacious and large and had a balcony with partial views of the beach. Staff are always able to help and everyone is friendly. Breakfast is ok. Rooftop had amazing views!

Older hotel, so a bit rundown, gym was pretty sad - could do with an upgrade and cleaning. Rooftop had amazing views but it is smaller. Could hear our neighbors through the connecting doors when there were screaming kids - once they moved out we couldn't hear.

Fantastic location, you can't find better location than this, close to Copacabana beach, and many bars/restaurants. Spacious and comfy rooms. Super helpful staff, we arrived 4 hours before our check-in time, and hotel staff did their best to prepare our room as soon as possible. Very good breakfast. Roof pool is very good and usable.

The bedroom was very spacious, the bed was big and very comfortable. Very clean and great location. It was also very quiet and we did not hear any traffic. The service was amazing and everyone was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Also on the rooftop, if you look behind the hotel you have an incredible clear view of the Christ Redeemer which was just magical.

The only thing that could do with an update would be the shower head which took a little while to learn how to adjust the pressure. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

The hotel is located near Copacabana beach but it is not front row. Nevertheless, it is very close to everything you might need - bars and restaurants, pharmacy, metro, shops etc. I liked the comfort of the bed and the room itself. Breakfast was also nice, with a great variety of fresh fruits.

This is common in Brazil - the AC was blazing full speed everywhere. This was uncomfortable, especially at breakfast where I knew I had to take an extra layer of clothing not to freeze.

Excellent location, very close to Copacabana beach and the service from the staff was exceptional speaking fluent English and always there to help. The breakfast was also very good. We didn’t include this in our package but could still pay for it like a restaurant. So don’t hesitate to add this as I found the breakfast rather good.

The bed was a little hard but did not disturb our ability to sleep. The rooms could also do with an update however for the reasonable price we paid in comparison to other hotels in the area it was perfectly adequate for our needs.

Good location near Copacabana beach, nice rooftop pool and bar with view. Very comfy beds. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful.

The room equipment had seen better days. The bartender at the rooftop bar was really unpleasant. Also one lady at the reception was rude and argued with us over one bottle of water, which we didn't take.

The staff was amazing ! Specially Mr. Silva (concierge) and one Mr. at the breakfast who took care every day of our bay! We got robbed at the beach and the hotel staff helped us to remain calm and to contact the right people to get help. Food was good at breakfast, a bit expensive tho. Wifi was working super well. Nicely located also. The rooms were super clean and we loved this. The only single thing that was not 100% nice: -Very heavy formalities -Hotel room key being deactivated every time -Some people at reception were very picky on everything and others were amazing (Uani was just amazing)
