The main thing I like about this hotel was how close everything was (i.e. market, restaurants, and beach). Everything that you needed was roughly about 5 to 10 minute walk. The area is very safe for all to walk around even at night. Next, I did like the staff here. Everyone is kind and courteous. Most of the staff did speak English, which help tremendously. They give you helpful suggestions around the area and activities to do around Rio. Lastly, the amenities I felt like were decent for the price you pay for. To start, they have a basic gym, pool, and balcony on the top floor. I especially enjoy the balcony to go out and get some fresh air and relax. Most importantly, the view is amazing. You can observe most of the landmarks of Rio.

At least one thing, that gave me a little issue was the size of the bed. The beds, at least in my room I booked, felt really small to my liking, but were decently comfortable. One other thing that kinda bothered me was the smell. The smell, though really minor, kind of lingered around just for a day. It was kind of strange how it disappeared right after the first night. Lastly, becareful of the bed sheets as some of them may have some stains. At least one of the beds in my room had some minor stains after washing. So just be careful and always look closely at those small things.

The staff were wonderful. Front desk, to the cleaning staff to servers were really helpful and very accommodating especially for people who only speak English. Rooms were clean and modern. The location was literally one block walk to the beach and in a great metropolitan location. Close to restaurants, convenient stores, and banks with ATMs. Rooms were spacious. The free breakfast was robust... Great value and experience!

Minor items: shower head could've been stronger, laundry service was only Monday -Friday, elevators were small maybe 5 people max. Incredibly minor issues. Only thing that could turn people off is you're in Copacabana, not Centro or Lapa. It's going to be touristy and a bit of a ride if you want to get a different type of Rio experience. But you won't be disappointed with your stay.

Our room was spacious and clean with room to unpack and also sit and relax. The location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately for us it's a dog friendly hotel, we had a yapping dog in a neighbouring room and the sound travelled straight through the aircon vent.

- you only get one single room key even though you are more people (group of friends!!), which was so stupid as my friend had other plans than myself and so we always had to inform the receptionist - elevators so slowly working, took you very long to “rapidly” grab something from the supermarket

EXCELENT LOCATION, EXCELENT SERVICES, EXCELENT ROOMS, EXCELENT BREAKFAST. One of the best relation price-quality of 4 stars hotels in Rio de Janeiro, where I've been more than 15 times.

Very nice hotel in one of the best locations of Rio de Janeiro. The area around is very safe even in the evening. 5 min to Copacabana beach makes it a perfect location. The staff is very helpful and rooms are large and clean.
