I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay at America Benidorme Hotel. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention as a loyal customer and as someone who values fair and transparent business practices. On May 23rd, I checked in at your hotel and was informed by the receptionist that there is a charge for baggage deposit before check-in. To my surprise, I was told that I had to pay a fee of 30reais for the storage of my baggage until my room was ready. This policy was not communicated to me prior to my arrival or during the booking process, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.

Breakfast was good, big selection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was big and clean, also the bathroom. The pool was also nice, great view. The way to the beach or the metro station was ok. 5-10 minutes by foot. No dangerous streets.

The air conditioner was a little bit too loud for me. The bed or the pillows could have been a little softer.

The staff was really nice, from reception, restaurant, doorman, cleaning ladies etc... But the hotel need to put some money into the business. It is very old and need to be modernised. I like our room 1206 very spacious and clean.

The bed and pillows were very hard and took a while to get used to it. We asked for softer pillow and they provided to us straight to way. The hotel could be amazing if it was reformed.

Good location, 2-3 min from Copacabana beach, looks like a safe area (a lot of hotels in that street); room was bigger than I expected, comfortable bed, pillow, window that could be opened, hot shower, clean towels, fridge, A/C. Breakfast - coffee, bread, cheese, eggs, pancakes, fruit... Almost the same everyday, but nice and fresh start of the day. There is a rooftop pool but I didn’t use. A lot of supermarkets, shops and local restaurants around. Metro station - cca 10 minutes, bus station couple of seconds. The easiest and safest way to get there from the airport is to take a taxi - 12-15 E. Overall, I recommend, I felt very safe, liked the location, comfort, cleanliness

Great location, a few minutes from the beach. Lovely staff, comfy beds, big rooms with fridge. The pool was great.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and facility is getting a bit run down and could use a renovation, but it is a fantastic value at current price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, very quiet at night. The upstairs pool area was a nice place to relax in. Breakfast was varied and delicious! Copacabana beach was just a 5 minute walk with lots of good restaurants nearby.

The shower needed improving, tricky to work and lacked sufficient water power.

I paid a good price for my staying and unfortunately I got a bedroom with no view at all. First floor and my view was to a wall and other bedrooms air-conditioning.
