I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay at America Benidorme Hotel. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention as a loyal customer and as someone who values fair and transparent business practices. On May 23rd, I checked in at your hotel and was informed by the receptionist that there is a charge for baggage deposit before check-in. To my surprise, I was told that I had to pay a fee of 30reais for the storage of my baggage until my room was ready. This policy was not communicated to me prior to my arrival or during the booking process, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.

Good location, 2-3 min from Copacabana beach, looks like a safe area (a lot of hotels in that street); room was bigger than I expected, comfortable bed, pillow, window that could be opened, hot shower, clean towels, fridge, A/C. Breakfast - coffee, bread, cheese, eggs, pancakes, fruit... Almost the same everyday, but nice and fresh start of the day. There is a rooftop pool but I didn’t use. A lot of supermarkets, shops and local restaurants around. Metro station - cca 10 minutes, bus station couple of seconds. The easiest and safest way to get there from the airport is to take a taxi - 12-15 E. Overall, I recommend, I felt very safe, liked the location, comfort, cleanliness

Breakfast was good, big selection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was big and clean, also the bathroom. The pool was also nice, great view. The way to the beach or the metro station was ok. 5-10 minutes by foot. No dangerous streets.

The air conditioner was a little bit too loud for me. The bed or the pillows could have been a little softer.

The staff was really nice, from reception, restaurant, doorman, cleaning ladies etc... But the hotel need to put some money into the business. It is very old and need to be modernised. I like our room 1206 very spacious and clean.

The bed and pillows were very hard and took a while to get used to it. We asked for softer pillow and they provided to us straight to way. The hotel could be amazing if it was reformed.

I really liked the size of the room, very spacious. Staff on 5 out of 5. Nice, working pool and sauna, which is included on request. Excellent breakfast and location of the hotel. At the bottom, you can print out any documents yourself. A pleasant, comfortable stay at the hotel. Excellent mattress and pillows.

Slightly outdated furniture.

Great location: close to the subway and the beach. Many supermarkets are cafes around. great wifi. The area felt safe to me. I walked everywhere during the day and at night and I was fine. Outstanding housekeeping.

Breakfast was the same every day and sometimes didn't look fresh. Eggs were on the raw side. The staff at the reception didn't seem too friendly. The first impression was so so when I messaged the hotel to ask what's the best way of getting to the hotel they told me to ask at the information desk in the airport. Really?! This was first time in the 10 years of travel life around the world I got this kind of answer.

Great location, a few minutes from the beach. Lovely staff, comfy beds, big rooms with fridge. The pool was great.

In need of a bit of a refresh. No changing room/ towels at the pool

The internet was not very good. the signal was very weak .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, very quiet at night. The upstairs pool area was a nice place to relax in. Breakfast was varied and delicious! Copacabana beach was just a 5 minute walk with lots of good restaurants nearby.

The shower needed improving, tricky to work and lacked sufficient water power.
