Breakfast was wonderful! We loved the variety. We enjoyed the custom omelettes. The setting was great, and the staff was very attentive. The room with a tiny balcony overlooking the ocean was magnificent!! The room was clean.

Designs for self parking could have been much better. The exact procedure for self parking, and then getting the car out was unclear, but when we figured it out, it was very good. We didn’t know until we arrived. That access to the west was for bidden in the mornings. It didn’t hurt our plans, but it might’ve caused the problem. There should’ve been some mention of it.

- The pool and jacuzzi - wow - so good! - Breakfast was fire! LOVED IT. There was an employee named Paulo who worked at the breakfast station and he made my mornings! He is a treasure, super warm and friendly - take care of him please. - 2 free drinks on arrival - the BED!! - The Italian restaurant - a must!

- My room was on level 3 and it was really difficult to fall asleep the first night because of how loud the ocean was. You should either offer a discount for those on the lower levels or appropriately glaze the windows/door!! - The location. I was finishing up a 17 day travel tour so my plan was to stay at the resort to recharge and relax for the 2 nights so it was fit for my purpose however if you're planning to go out and about, this hotel location is a bit of an inconvenience.

The resort is excellent and the staff were very helpful. The bar and restaurant by the pool were perfect to hang out in. It's an excellent pool. The buffet breakfast is also amazing. I would stay here again.

Our room was a little worn (some stains on the carpet) as was some of the pool area (missing mosaic tiles in whirlpool) but it was all clean.

Overall, the staff of the hotel is amazing and what sets it apart from other hotels in Rio. Some individual people really made a difference during our stay such as Guilherme (Club Level Concierge) and Aguinaldo (Host at the hotel happy hour for Club Level bookings) who were outstanding! Good variety of food for breakfast, the pool area and location are good! Sunrise views from any of the Upper Floor Ocean View Rooms are just great!

We experienced some issues in the room (Bad smell, issues with the flushing system) that took hours to get sorted. Once again, the staff was very helpful in fixing this out but this was a problem already when the room was delivered.

The hotel is a real resort and it has it all, the best location in Rio, right next to Leblon beach. The hotel has semi-private beach that is very clean and is secluded between two rocks, so it feels you are on a private beach in Rio. The facilities are good, large pool, restaurants, spa, fitness and a Lobby bar. Overall a very good hotel and resort. The real stars of the hotel are the staff, excellent concierge, reception team, room service and house keeping especially Rebecca Oliveira, who speaks excellent English and apart from doing an excellent job she helped me in several situations, including calling a hotel nurse, where I was not aware that was even an option. Overall, the staff are very attentive.

The pool area is very well designed. A lot of attention to detail went to it and, when you look it looks flawless. The problem is how it is run, it can't decide whether it is a "pool party" pool or relax with a book and cocktail pool. Somehow it always feels too hectic and chaotic even when there are not so many people around. Hard to relax and enjoy a book even with headphones on.

Spectacular ocean view, it's the only hotel in front of sea among Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon areas.

The hotel is a bit old, the wardrobe in the room was a bit smelly. And there isn't control for the public pool area, it seems anyone can enter. We don't feel the exclusive and secure experience especially during COVID period, plus there is an extra resort charge.

The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff and our room had a great view of the sea and Ipanema beach. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruits, juices, pastries and hot food. The pool area had plenty of seating with a good bar and access to the semi-private beach. The quality of the restaurants are high.

There was a bit of construction work both inside and outside the hotel with roadworks going on and hotel maintenance near the pool. The bikes for rental were poorly maintained and uncomfortable. These are small issues though as our overall stay was great.

The hotel is awesome! the breakfast is amazing, the pool, the gym, the restaurants and the staff was really great.

For the price and the hotel infra-structure i was shocked to see that bathroom has cortines (yes, tissue) instead a box-glass. It is really anti-hygienic and every bath you wet the whole floor. Important to tell that i took a high value bedroom, with sea view and high floor. Cortine on the bath is unacceptable.

Great breakfast, amazing pool and jacuzzi. it has great amenities including a sauna and a spa. Both restaurants casa de cachaça and L’etoile are amazing. the staff was very attentive and friendly. the room and the bed I stayed were really quiet and we were able to rest comfortably.

Although the location is much more comfort than popular bitches it’s far from all of Río’s attractions, consider around 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic to get to main hot spots like corcovado, paô de azucar and escadaria de selaron. Also the road outside the Hotel was under repair and during the afternoon was annoyingly noisy.
