Price! Just needed a place to lay my head for 2 nights and a hotel would have cost over $300. Quick self serve toast, bagel, oatmeal, tea and coffee available 24 hrs. I like that there is a fridge available for you to bring your own food items. A microwave is available to heat dinners or cook some eggs if you know to bring them. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home. T.V.channel guide is posted so you know what channels are available. French T.V channels are available. I also like the homey feeling. People share travelling experiences and talk with each other. Very upscale boutique vibe/ambiance with exposed brick and original vintage wood floors. There is a lovely walking path along the river to start your day with places to sit and watch the ocean liners coming and going.

Nothing can be done about this but the sleeping area is not exactly sound proof so you hear people talking and people coming and going. nobody seems to mind and I slept well.

Great clean place, very comfy bed, love the concept and complimentary toast and coffee. Owners if you get to meet them, are very nice, friendly, and genuine. Will 100% return!!!! Thanks you Joseé

Queen Pod was little hard as it has a very low ceiling (like all upper pods) and light in pod right in your eyes and cannot dim. Would be great if dimmable and second light by desk/mirror...but not a deal breaker and we knew going in about the low ceiling in upper pod, but wasn't bad. Added note from reading other comments... ALL rooms/pods are single except pod 6 which is a queen bed. All 5 superior rooms on lower level have door and all 5 upper pods (incl the only queen) have a curtain door but place is very safe and has cctv in common areas. Know what your booking as we did and you wont be disappointed.

Breakfast items were very good. Excellent location. Very comfortable room and bed. Bathrooms were very clean.

There were two showers but in one of them the lights did not work at all. The room would have been pitch dark when the door was closed. It was not an issue. I may have been the last person to get up and use the shower. Strangely - at around 11:30 p.m. I was getting ready to sleep. A woman in a room close to mine started playing music from India and singing along to the music. 11:30 P.M.!! I put my head near the curtain and said “sshhhhhh” without saying anything else. She stopped singing and turned off the music. I slept very well that night.

very clean and well supplied for all you need. When I asked for a room with a door, the person on the phone was very understanding and gave me a downstairs room.

second floor—Rms 5-8–have a ceiling too low. I’m 5’5” and I could not stand up straight. Also rooms upstairs had no doors, just curtains! no safety for women.

You get to be really independent, which is nice, and it is very well located in Prescott. Coffee and breakfast included. The rooms are tidy and there's an arcade to play on which supports a bunch of consoles.

The breakfast could have had a couple more selections. When we arrived the first day there was a muffin in the box and the next few days we didn't see a single one (only bread and basic little doughnuts). Also, all the rooms for 2 people have curtains instead of doors, so don't expect much intimacy.

It is beautiful and in a great location.

The low ceiling and the curtain door. Next time we will book on the first floor if possible. My husband snores and i was worried about him bothering people.

The good people at Booking.com encouraged me in various ways to give Zens another shot, this time with a 'room' instead of a 'pod'. I did not find my 'pod' secure last time, mostly for lack of a door. This meant I did not sleep well, worried about the security of my personal effects. I also fretted about my own safety with only a curtain separating me from the wider world, from the noises of what was, in effect, a communal sleeping area, and of course from COVID. This time was infinitely better. If you're over 30 and care about your dignity and security, be sure to reserve a 'room' and not a verkakte 'pod'. The 'rooms' are all on the main level and have proper doors with keypad locks on the outside and chain locks on the inside. They are actual rooms with a bed, a desk, and a ceiling at normal height (so guests can actually stand up and walk around without hunching over, as in the pods). Trust me, it's worth the extra ten bucks.

This was a wonderful, budget based inn but clean and modern. If you're okay with shared bathrooms and small rooms, it's perfect.

Well, my husband couldn't stand up straight in our room given the low headspace. Not sure if there is anyway to fix that. If there are rooms that have a higher headspace it would be nice to give people the option to select those rooms.

Quiet and very comfortable, we were very happy with this Inn. The cleanliness and comfort could not have been any better. At the end of an exhausting day of preparation and travel, the beds and bedding were uncompromised. We had a fantastic sleep.

Our only real criticism is the low ceiling in the upper rooms. We also realize the inherent building construction that this is not something that can be easily changed, if at all. Not an issue for us, but could be for some... There are no doors to upper level rooms. There are only fabric curtains that offer good visual privacy. The bathrooms (one room with toilet and sink, and one shower and sink), and the kitchen, are common areas.

The place is very clean and very quiet. The rooms are a little small, nut correct for one person. The kitchen is well equipped to make your own lunch, but there are several restaurants right next door. Will return there anytime.
