Jim and Donna are great hosts. To list this property as a double queen room is not accurate. you have a very large room with two queen beds plus a huge seating area plus other amenities such as a complete kitchen. The breakfast was great, I have been all over the world and I have had no better experience anywhere. The only regret is we were on a motorcycle tour and only had one night to stay. This is a historical building in a historical location. It would be great to be here for a few days to explore all the area has to offer.

Exceptional breakfast. Tasty french toast with REAL MAPLE Syrup ! Plenty of fruit and orange juice. The sprinkling of powdered sugar was a nice touch. Loved the history and repurposing of an old school. Hosts were very gracious with their time and talked to us about the Inn and its history. The room was even filled with books, maps of the historic figure named on the room. Hosts made us feel at home. (You could sense the pride in their accomplishment, the detailed touches everywhere and the passion for their work). Will definitely come again.

Needed a thinner pillow.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated with unmatched customer service. The facility is unique, historic, clean, warm, welcoming, and accamadating.

The only knock anyone could give would be the stairs to go to the 2nd level....I'm not sure how they can assist the elderly or disabled in that regard....but that is beyond knit-picking, because these owners are invested in this business both emotionally and financially. They take great pride in this creation and endeavor....and it shows.

Everything! The owners were the kindest people I have ever met! The food was so fresh and delicious! The rooms were gorgeous and perfectly clean! I especially loved learning about the school and the history of the many presidents who traveled to and through Ogdensburg! I absolutely recommend even if I am staying just one night it will always be here! It's truly a beautiful experience!

The room was spacious because it was a former classroom that had been converted into a bedroom. One felt at "home" with so much space, furtniture, bookcases, decorations, TV, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and easy parking. The location was excellent. Service was fabulous. The owners helped us with our suitcases, which was appreciated as well. Conversations were enlightening and educational. Fresh fruit and yogurt at breakfast was a nice touch. Would stay there again.

Don't be put off by the institutional exterior. This former elementary school (yes, a whole school) has been converted into the most unusual B&B we have ever stayed in. The rooms are ENORMOUS and very well appointed. Each one is themed. There is a library, a massive play area if you have kids, and an excellent breakfast. All overseen with a warm welcome by hosts Donna and Jim. This isn't just a B&B, it's a slice of history.

Everything! Encompasses the history of Ogdensburg, its ties to Presidents who visited and impacted the US. The uniique rooms converted from classroom to presidential themes. Hosts Donna and Jim are wonderful, warm, knowledgeable and serve incredible breakfast !

Breakfast was wonderful and definitely not your typical continental breakfast . Instead we feasted on waffles and fresh fruit.

We liked everything about our stay .The hosts were warm and welcoming. The inn was decorated impeccably with beautiful furniture and art works. Our room was large and comfortable . It was outstanding due to the attention to detail by both hosts.

I arrived with a few extra hours and glad I did. I got immersed in Ogdensburg's fascinating history from a self-guided (rambling) tour of town with my camera and spent time reading in both the Inn's library and my room. The room was amazing, as large as the original classroom and well-appointed throughout. Loved the presidential theme and picked up more prez history.

The inn is so interesting; there is history everywhere. I wish I had had more time to read it all. The room was enormous and full of interesting antique furniture. The beds were very comfortable.
