Located near shopping mall. EV chargers are nearby. Restaurants are in walking distance. Amazing manager from Yugoslavia solve every trouble with no stress and patience!

Due to the moderate price, a lot of rude people scream or talk very loud in the corridors at night, families with noisy children, poor sound insulation. Loud air conditioner which at night it is better not to turn on at all.

The reception staff. All of them were friendly and helpful. Specially thanks to Branko. He was very very helpful from tbe beginning till the end of our stay there, always with smile and fun. The breakfast. It was understood that buffet breakfast could not be provided during the pendamic period. They put the breakfast in a good plastic box, not just a brown bag. It looked like that you order some takeout from a high end restaurant. The food include a lot of varieties, especially with different kind of fruits even with some spinach. I was full after eating the breakfast. I also like their practice of giving the breakfast to the clients when check in. Clients cam store them in the fridge in their room. It avoided some clients take too many and late comers do nor have breakfast which happen in many motels. They really prepare the breakfast with their heart. The rooms are cozy. Beds comfortable . The cleaning staff too hard-working. They knocked my friends' room around 8:30 a.m. Our friends told them that they have not yet check out. They knocked the second time after about half an hour, requested to clean the room.

Location

Since there's COVID19, the breakfast has to be kept in fridge. That's fine, but I would expect a good microwave to warm some food. There's one in the same floor for public use, but either it's not functional, or it's too hard to use, I gave up trying to use it after many combinations of pressing buttons. It could be better if the breakfast included could be offered in a buffet way with hot soup, eggs, sausages etc. Somebody could serve the food to each customer per request to avoid contact. I understand that cost money, just sharing my thoughts.

the property was under renovation (fire recently) but there was no extra noise from workers. best shower I’ve had in a hotel and very comfortable bed. Martin was exceptionally helpful, allowing us to check in early and easily spoke both English and French.

The room is clean and the pre-packed breakfast was nice. The staff were nice, cooperative and smiling all the time. The gym is available 24 hours. The hotel is just across the street from Les Promenades Gatineau Mall, Hudson Bay and Best Buy. It is also a walking distance (5 min.) from Le Buffet des Continents restaurant which has versatile cuisines and very delicious food with affordable prices.

The jacuzzi and pool are not working yet, although it is working in other hotels (only sauna available now). The breakfast doesn't include hot items like some other hotels.

The young man at the reception (unfortunately, I did not get his name) WAS EXTRAORDINARY in his service, efficiency and professionalism. WE arrived at around 21:00. I have traveled for over 35 years working; this young man was truly the BEST reception possible. A RARE TRUE GENTLEMAN !

Considering the cost of the hotel, I evaluate it was very comfortable and well-located. The staff was very friendly and the location was amazing for what I was looking for the weekend.

No elevator though I understand you’re under renovation. Thank God my luggage wasn’t heavy.

The beds were comfortable and it was clean

the breakfast was always the same and came in a box. The building was also in construction so we had to come from another entrance.

With plenty of parking located in a well situated area it made our stay a little more cozy. Showers had good water pressure and the room was nice and clean.

Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn’t too appealing. It was cold and unappetizing and things could have been better if we got our food hot. While we understand that covid makes things a lot more challenging, breakfast quality could have been better. I will not be returning here unfortunately.
