Venesa in reception was great! Overall, the hotel was cosy and pretty modern. Good location, in between the Old Town and the beaches and with an affordable car park (15€)

My room (101) didn't have a desk! (How come?). Also, the towels were old (had been used for way too long), not up to the hotel's standards (but that was a minor thing)

Nice clean property. Our reason for selecting this was it has an elevator- which is not there in most hotels in/around Old town, location is good - just a €5 Uber ride to Pile gate or if you want to take the bus, bus stop which is right outside, takes you to the beach or Old town. Marina is walking distance. Staff is very good, they arranged our tours from Dubrovnik and pickup point was right outside the hotel. They also packed a breakfast bag for our super early morning tour departures! Room was very comfortable and spacious. Food was good.

The room, balcony don’t offer any views- rather you’re looking into the rooms/balconies of the other adjoining hotels .

there is an outside parking which is in front of the building and still need to pay 10 euro but that place makes people not sure if really need to pay that because is like a normal public parking place which everyone can use even not stay in the hotel

A lovely modern clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff especially Vanessa on reception. Rooms are cleaned every day without fail. The breakfast suits all tastes, cooked, continental, cereal, fruit etc. Would have liked a toaster but very minor point. The location of the hotel sits 20 mins walk from the Old Town, which is amazing and 15 mins in the other direction to the beaches. The hotel also sits near the port. There is a very good frequent bus service if you don't want to walk into town. Overall this is a great hotel in a great city with lovely staff 👍👍👍

A modern and clean hotel in a great location by Gruz Marina. It is located between Dubrovnik old town and Babin Kuk with a 25 min walk either way or a 10 min bus ride. The buses are very regular every 5-10 minutes and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. The beds were very big and comfy and the bathroom had a big walk in shower. The staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The prices at the hotel for food and drink were also very reasonable. The breakfast was very good with a mixture of continental, cereals and hot choices.

We were in a junior suite and found the bedroom too small. If we booked again we wouldn’t pay the extra for a suite we would just have a double room which would have been adequate for our needs.

Breakfast was good and service was quick and friendly (outside main season so we got breakfast delivered at table, not a buffet style service but that might be different in main season?). Location is very good, bus stop in front of Hotel and busses arrive regular (about 6 minutes apart) to old town. Taxi's also fast on the spot. Room is top quality: quiet, clean, big screen LG television with many channels, comfortable bed, chairs, balcony (smoking option there), top bathroom with all you neeed (bathrobe, slippers, cleaning stuff) and all very new (no wear and tare).

Only 'minus' is the view from the room/balcony (mainly a view on buildings opposite of the street but a glimpse of the mountains as well).

Everything in the hotel felt very clean but the floor of our room was pretty dirty when we checked in. Which just makes one pause.

Breakfast was good and the hotel itself is spotless. It has a high standard in keeping it clean, a score of 10+ in this aspect. It has spacious rooms with a very comfy bed. Our room was tidied everyday with fresh towels and replenished toiletries each time. Staff are polite and friendly. This hotel is highly recommended, even good value for your money. Only 4-5Euros via uber in getting to Old Town. For a family of 4, its cheaper to get an uber/taxi as 2Euro each on a bus.

Everything ok

While sparsely appointed, the Porto delivers on comfort and quality. We had room with a view of the hillside and its villas. The hotel is a 20-25 minute vigorous and lovely walk to the old city, but you'll be doing plenty of walking once you arrive, so you may prefer the bus stop right near the front door of the hotel. The room (deluxe double) was very large, with a large bathroom and shower, and a balcony. Great breakfast too and the staff was exceptional, like a 5-star hotel.

The hotel is clean and modern, inviting as soon as you enter. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were addressed. The location is near a bus stop, which was perfect for tours (they admitted the location was easy for them to add a stop and pick us up/drop us off) and getting to Old Town. Wish we could have stayed longer.
