Been already the second time there - before corona and AFTER! The service is as good as before corona I must say (just minor quibbles about junior staff). Breakfast and room splendid - make sure to book the suites which are exquisite! The staff was very friendly but it all depends on the seniority - the younger staff seems to be a bit lost and need a little more schooling on the good old art of smiling and proactivity. Overall an excellent experience and HIGHLY recommended.

Sometimes the lobby was empty and no staff in sight.

Hotel building is a very old, impressive building. The reception and lounge areas are sparkling. The hotel cafe provides a perfect calm ambience with live piano. Wow to the breakfast, lovely staff, very nice SPA that hotel guests can use without booking additional treatment. We received also a little complimentary birthday cake to the room as that was the occasion why we booked the room. The room service is also perfect. We got a complimentary upgrade at the check in.

We were in this property a few years ago. The room that we got back then was a really new, modern great room but still with the charming old style hotel feeling. This time the room was not that great. I asked at the reception about the difference. The reception said that we booked an inferior room class this time and we can upgrade if we paid some more. As we were already in the room and booked only for one night, did´t bother to change... In short, the lower class rooms are specious, comfortable, overall fine but nothing impressive. They gave us a complimentary upgrade at the check in which I appreciate but this means that there are even lower room classes than the one we were not that impressed with.

We love staying at this beautiful hotel and always book in when we visit the Frankfurt Christmas Market. Our room was massive with a very comfortable additional bed for our daughter. Breakfast is an indulgent treat. The spa is brilliant and staff are welcoming and helpful. The concierge booked a fantastic traditional restaurant for us for dinner and when we had a small hiccup with the room, the manager sent up a bottle of champagne and fruit basket to apologise which was incredibly generous. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The herbal steam room was closed for repairs which we missed but hammam and sauna were open and had a private hammam treatment at the spa - highly recommend!

Totally superb & faultless hotel, their staff all smazing! Magnificent breakfast choices, lovely Capoucino on the beautiful terrace. The gorgeous flower arrangements, beautiful paintings, furnishings etc in the publice lounge, bar, foyer all added to the luxury ambiance of yhis beautiful hotel. One thing we found amazing was when my husband had a medical emergency, the hotel staff got a Dr into our room within hours-we were so impressed with the service, the treatment & the thoroughly professional young Dr, just phenomenal service & we are so grateful!

It was faultless in wvery respect!

Location, room size and cleanliness are great. We got free upgrade from Booking.com to bigger room (Deluxe Room) which is great. They also provided extra bed for our 3 y.o. daughter for free and everything was prepared when we arrived even though we booked last minute. Guest services are always ready and responsive. We asked for cutlery and someone came in no 5 mins. The staffs are all very nice. The "Hofgarten" is beautiful.

Bathroom a bit small, and cold. We stayed in late August, we switched off AC since our arrival as the room itself is already cold (temperature in the room is still okay). But the bathroom is quite cold, and the heater is central. Breakfast option is not special, but tastes good. You can also order separately but somehow there is no ala carté menu. The seating in our room is bit outdated.

Beautiful hotel on a perfect location with friendly staff.

The bed was extremely hard and the twin beds I requested were right next to each other.

The entire staff was outstandingly polite, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make certain that the stay was pleasant and to support every request for information they could, and they did so with extreme graciousness. They truly wanted to see that the stay was excellent. The building itself is superbly positioned and lovely. The furnishings are excellent, the amenities are superb, and the entire stay felt elegant and peaceful. It was an extraordinary visit. Of course, the surroundings are excellent as well, and wonderful dining experiences, including Oscar's, are directly at the hotel. If you have a guest coming to Frankfurt and you want them to have a "perfect experience," this is the hotel.

Literally there is nothing to dislike. This hotel exceeds all expectations and then some.

Rooms are comfy and clean. Breakfast is nice. It was a nice stay overall. The lady at the Concierge is phenomenally good at her job. I use the concierge everywhere I go, and she is just better than anyone else.

The hotel is bigger than it looks and if they give you a room at the end of the corridors, you really have to walk a long way. This could be a problem if you have issues with walking, or forget something back in the room.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room upon arrival. The room was very spacious and very clean. Nice smell throughout the hotel and room. The toilets have bidet (which is a super plus, green for environment) and there is a separate room for closet. Bfast selection is wide and i leave with a happy tummy. The location is perfect. Old city is within walking distance, the offices are also within walking distance.

Amazing property with a grand building that you dont usually see around much. The breakfast was truly special too.

The property needs to sort its heating - it was too hot in the room during their winter set up and couldn't be controlled from the room strangely! I asked abd somone came to check as well but in the end, they asked me to keep the window open which was not a solution!
