Great location, cool atmosphere in the common areas, the best bunkbeds I've ever seen in a dorm room: they are more like sleeping pods, so you are not affected by the movements of your bunk-mate above or below you, which is usually a problem of dormitory bunkbeds. If you are older, like me, you might want to ask for a bottom bunk, though. Climbing those steps is for fit young people :) The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, although very very small.

I understand using the pool, the gym or the laundry room is not included in the basic price, but charging extra for using the common kitchen was surprising. Also, somebody entered the room when I was sleeping and started cleaning, which I found weird. I did not ask them to leave, but I think I should not have to: when the room is occupied, you don't come in to clean. Two of the common-use toilets were clogged during my three-day stay.

The hostel looks really great in my opinion. The staff is nice and there's always something's going on. The highlights for me were two things. Firstly, there is a locker rental service in the –2 floor. You can left your luggage for 24 hours for something around 10 euros. The locker can be opened many times without stopping/renewing the rental service. If you exceed the paid time, you just pay the difference. Honestly, I think that anyone can use this service cause you don't need any identification from the hostel to use it. Second highlight for me was the fact that each room with shared beds has its own bathroom. And mine was pretty clean, so I am really grateful for this — not all hostels do this job quite right, at least in my experience. I would also say that the bed itself was nice and looked a bit more secure and private than usually in hostels.

I did not quite like the strict check-in policy — it cannot be made earlier than 15:00. And this is literally impossible since the check-ins are made on a computer by yourselves. And the computers are just locked up until 15:00. I am totally fine with not going inside my room before 15:00 — I read the property rules, it's ok. But why I cannot check in at 13:00 and then explore city until midnight just because I would love to do this? And then directly go sleeping instead of trying to check in using computer after a couple of beers. Anyways, for me it was not problematic, I just do not quite understand why make it so inflexible for traveling people. Apart from that not many things to be negatively reviewed (for a hostel, I mean).

Excellent facilities, plenty of spaces to relax, bar, lockers that can be accessed at any time, comfy beds.

If you stayed in a shared room with 4 or 6 people which i did your sleep is really dependent upon the consideration of those people. 2 nights I stayed were fine everyone was quiet and respectful but one night I was kept awake till 1am with people taking ridiculously long showers (I'm talking like 20/30 minutes)?! 🤷 and blow drying their hair for 20 minutes. Then being woken up at 5am with someone else showering (it could have been the same person who knows maybe they had some kind of cleanliness disorder)!

Location, quietness of room. Bar, laundry facility.

Kitchen needs improvement. Dishwasher broken. Two stove tops not working and replacement cooking rings were in place. No air filter in room so door left open. People wandered in ( not paid) hung around at tables taking up seats and not cooking. No room to eat meal. Not enough saucepans etc. Not enough fridge space. Get long communal tables not round tables and benches. Takes up too much room and not friendly to solo travellers. Stop people saving seats etc if not sitting on them. I was expecting better of the kitchen but you need to keep it maintained and equipped. Suggest go to Ikea and buy loads of crockery, cutlery, utensils, saucepans and fix all equipment. This facility could be your best asset but you are not managing it properly.

Location - Was great, everything quite close by - the port, the central station etc. I mostly walked around the city but public transport was very accessible from the property. Property - From all the hostels I have stayed at so far this was the most organised and cleanest! bonus points for that. People - Very friendly and helpful. Right from reaching earlier than check in time - putting our luggage in the lockers to checking in to checking out the whole process was very well designed. Room - The room is small, clean and functional. The bed size was good - comfortable for the two of us.

The size of the room was smaller than I expected - which means that you cannot spend time in the room - it's just for changing, sleeping, using the toilet and bathing. Its very very cosy/ small - it barely fit our luggage. It felt like we were playing Tetris every time we had to open our bags.

Very young and dynamic hostel in town with a busy bar on the ground floor, just 10min walk from Copenhagen central station, easy to find. The room is good and looks new, with nice bathroom. We have a private 3 persons room but apparently it has 6 single beds just as in the description photos. The stuffs are nice. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice facilities, free fresh water and boiled water at the bar.

Extra services extra cost, access to kitchen costs extra, baggage locker costs extra, even if already being a guest here. (But the lockers are still cheaper then those inside central station)

The location is excellent, common areas, the room was very clean and also bathrooms aoutside the room.

1) Doing a self check in on the computers from the reception, as I queued first, it didn't work and I had to talk to someone from the staff who activated my booking and gave a booking code to do the self check in. There was no sign saying you first need to go to reception and then self-serve, such a waste of time. 2) Paid lockers. Usually, hostels let you put your stuff in a safe place with no additional charge as you are a guest, I was surprised having to paid for a locker as I arrived before check in time (3PM). 3) It was not announced on booking that to use the swimming pool and the gym, you have to pay extra. 4) The coffee from the machine was awful, after paying for coffee, you'd expect something better.

It was very clean and comfortable, fancy compared to most hostels I’ve stayed at - more like a hotel. They had events such as live music, free walking tours and quiz nights that were good. The main area had a very social vibe and the bar was pretty neat.

You have to pay for the kitchen which is a bit silly, and for the size of the hostel it is not big enough. Everyone was queuing to use the stoves and at multiple times there weren’t enough pans, cutlery, etc. In fact despite paying for the stay you have to pay for everything (the pool, gym, pool table, luggage lockers) so it was a bit corporate.

Clean rooms and spacious locker(bring your own lock). Central location, walking distance to train stations. Large communal areas and friendly reception. Easy check in and out.

Pay to use kitchen and luggage storage which is rather uncommon. Laundry is expensive. Bathroom and toilet are inside the bedroom so it's a bit noisy/smelly if someone is using.

Lively and friendly place and it's also easy to find a quiet space. Modern room, and we had booked one with a balcony. It was worthy because the room being so tight, the balcony gave us a bit of a good feeling of space snd somewhere to sit. Within short walking distance from the train station Good price All sorts of facilities

I was disappointed that we had to enter my details at check-in (digital) because we had already entered them online following a message request from Steel House a couple of days before our stay - I had understood it was supposed to avoid having to enter them at check-in... Ingenious use of the space under the bed to store luggage (ok for 2 rucksacks, that's it) but the space around the bed is minimal so there's not enough room to move easily in the bedroom (but it's fine in the bathroom). I'll go back to the rooms description to see if the tightness of the space in the room is highlighted.
