The location is excellent and quiet, really for those who would like to have a rest. It is an all-inclusive hotel with a la cart restaurants (buffet restaurants are free to use in the neighboring Sunrise Hotel). The food quality is good, the staff is very helpful and always try to do their best for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern with very comfy beds. There is a Royal Club for only the Swim-up Suite guest with a separate pool, sunbed area, and bar with import drinks. Special thanks for the great cocktails for Isak. The entertainment is good, but do not expect large theater-style performances. The Hotel is more of a family hotel where you are treated as a family member. The beach is clean and there are possibilities for different water sports.

The hotel and the rooms are very modern and clean, they are designed in a boho-chic style and are very big. We had a room with pool infront, and it was amazing. The beach is beautiful and the beach-beds are clean and comfortable. It has a corall-reef infront of the hotelbeach, it‘s perfect for snorkling and freediving! I really enjoyed it. Mahmoud from the reception was always available for help with any needs. You are allowed to use the partnerhotel beach/restaurants and entertainment, what‘s a big plus point.

I wish they would have more variety in the restaurants cause they are a la carte, but the food was good. The partnerhotel has restaurants you can visit too, one of them is buffet.

Everything, from the hotel room to the facilities, it is all very clean and with a modern style. It felt very relaxing to enjoy our stay here. The restaurants are all inclusive but the choice is a la carte which is amazing. The beach is also very nice for snorkeling with closely corals. The staff is very welcoming and bring you quick snacks and drinks to the beach.

Breakfast was an excellent mix of a la carte and buffet. The restaurants that served it were located centrally near the pool and very easy to get to

- Small area at Family pools. - i didnt like the idea of making specific spots for adults only since its a family resort specially that the family pool is not that big! - wifi is not good. - TV is smart but not connected! - the distance between each umberalla is close. But overall everything was just perfect.

This is quite unique experience in Egypt. It is located in the bay, so you have nice sandy beach for children and corals to look at the same time. Exceptional service starting from Reception and restaurants a la cart (no „buffet line“ you usually expect in all inclusive places) which is really amazing. If you need anything special you can contact the Executive Chef Ramadan directly and they will prepare for you, like we needed gluten free diet for our kid. Luxor is 2 hour drive from the hotel and hotel will provide good car and a good driver. Experience is overall unexpectedly amazing!

We had an exceptionally wonderful stay at the Tucana. The newly opened (renovated) resort made us feel welcome from the first moment onward. The whole resort has a very modern appearance, multiple luxurious pools, very friendly staff (shout-out to Lotfy, Said and the rest of the very motivated staff) and very fresh and tasty a la carte restaurants (all-inclusive). Drinks and fresh juices are even brought to you directly to your sun bed with enthusiasm and a big smile. The rooms are modern and clean and provide everything you need. The whole resort and beach is held spotlessly clean. Overall we can really recommend the Tucana if one likes good quality food and a modern friendly atmosphere.

I liked basically everything from the architecture & furnishing with the boho chic style to the very friendly helpful staff that made sure we are enjoying ourselves to the maximum The food is beyond great & chef Ramadan is so skilled& friendly Prebooking is needed for dinner which is a great idea, restaurants are not crowded at all & you get a great service, you also get to choose the cuisine served at different restaurants We tried greek cuisine at the beach restaurant “Yades” this is also were you get to have lunch. Mr Hesham there is super nice & friendly. We also enjoyed seafood dinner at main restaurant “ Luciana” were you also get to have breakfast. Kamal there made sure we had a great experience there as well. Cleanliness is perfect & I rarely give that review but it was super clean & tidy; rooms, restaurants, pools, toilets & all facilities You can have a mixture of chill/ fun experience. Chill at Tucana & you can also have fun with all the beach activities (Volleyball, water sports, zumba) / waterpark at Royal Makadi Palace that you have access to

Nothing actually! The beach of Tucana is not of a very large area so you might not find a front row umbrella at 9 am but it’s not a problem since the beach is shared with Sunrise Royal Makadi Palace Chill music is played at the bar at 9 pm, different live performances are available depending on days of the week. If you love loud music you might want to consider spending the night at Royal Makadi or somewhere else, to us it wasn’t a problem we really liked the chill vibe but to some it was & the hotel rules was to stick with the chill not so loud music

We had an amazing stay; the staff were impeccable always smiling,kind and caring, everything was cleaner than clean, the beach was amazing as it offered a great snorkelling spot and was super relaxing, the buildings and overall looks of the hotel were brilliant and breathtaking. The food was Perfect in every way possible. The wifi was also amazing despite all the reviews saying otherwise. Note: Special thanks to Mr.Shehab in reception and Mr.Mahmoud Samir as well all the staff in Yadis, Lucina and the Italian restaurant.

About the diving centre (extra fun diving), the instructor with us did not provide any freedom for us to move as he always held us from above and kept us from swimming further or getting close to the corals so that took down from the experience even though the sites were amazing.

Nice, modern, new, clean resort. Better quality than other 5* all inclusive resorts in Egypt for sure. Nice variety of foods, comfortable pool area, more food options.

Would be great if the level of English would be better of the Staff. Often waiters don't understand anything only the name of the food but if you want to ask something they don't understand but they pretend they do and bring you the wrong food or drink. Managers are very professional tho in all the restaurants and also at the reception. There is a room for improvement at the Coctail side too. I would love to see some women working there too.
