The young lady on reception at check in and the young guy at check out were just lovely - honestly a real credit to the hotel and SO welcoming.. that goes a long way when arriving somewhere new - and not stayed before The rooms were fab. Comfy bed, nice bath, size of room great and QUIET despite being right next to M62 - fab window insulation. Felt very premier inn but much better value. Clean tidy corridors. A great find and thank you.

Ever so slight damp smell but that quickly disappeared and clearly every effort is made to address it with plug in. It absolutely won’t put me off for all the massive benefits otherwise!

The breakfast was surprisingly very good. I would not have chosen this type of breakfast but found it actually very good. To clarify, the breakfast was a serve yourself opposite the front desk of coffee, fruit, muffins, etc. Great for a breakfast on the move, which I saw people doing. Our room was close enough to pick up and take back to our room which suited us perfectly. The pub next door was excellent for food. We may have been deceived but it felt it was cooked by a proper chef.

I do not think I have anything bad to say with regard this place

We were attending a wedding closeby and wanted somewhere affordable to stay. The venue was perfect. We paid £55.00 for a Thursday night which was great. Usual check in is at 3pm but we called when on our way to the wedding venue and they allowed us an early check in at 12.30 which was perfect. Reception staff was excellent and very friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep for ages.

Although breakfast was included, it finished at 9.30 and I think this could have been extended as feel it was a little early but it wouldn't stop us staying here again as everything else was perfect.

The bedroom was really, really nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was literally perfect. The TV was great, and the ports on the wall for HDMI were very useful. The room was very warm, comfortable and relaxing.

There was no dining area, so I had to just go back to my room to eat. The breakfast was really disappointing. I was given one token for the coffee machine. I was invited to choose a pastry but they were all the same (pain au chocolate). I was then given a bag with a yoghurt, a porridge pot, a piece of fruit, and a carton of juice inside. I didn't get offered any choice with these items. I paid for breakfast for 2 mornings but didn't bother with the second. The WIFI also kept dropping out and took a while to reconnect. Maybe this was just the particular room that I was in, but it was frustrating as I was meant to be working and was limited by the drop outs.

Clean room spacious even with an extra bed. Facilities well thought out, hair station with mirror, hairdryer and extra lighting with sockets. Close proximity to local pub, great evening meal.

Only having one key card for 2 adults when one a smoker is difficuly was difficult as key card needed for entry to building but when removed from the port in the room lighting would go off. Heating timer not set correctly, attempted to turn heating up twice to no avail. Some noisy guests entering hotel about midnight, we're shouting down corridors, staff should have intervined as woke me up due to being a light sleeper.

The beds were the comfiest we’ve had in a hotel for a while! We came for an event on the Saturday night then rebooked last minute for Sunday night. Both rooms were exactly the same. Very clean with everything you need for a short stay. Plenty of coffee/sugar left in the room with more facilities downstairs in reception. Free parking was also a bonus! We spoke to a couple of members of staff over our stay, who were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be rebooking :)

We remembered this as a Premier Inn and the room quality standard remains as good. Pleasant staff on the Reception. Felt very secure as a welcoming property.

Unfortunately the Hotel does not offer a cooked English style breakfast, instead the Reception staff operate a take away/ take to your Room cold mix of food items with tokens for hot drink machine. Literally 30 metres walk to the Restaurant next door and a contract to cater for hot breakfasts with Great Western would be a great asset. We booked Toby Carvery, 300m across the roundabout for a eat as much self service breakfast service. Such a shame as Premier Inn operated this with the Restaurant owners of the time.

The reception was good. The room and the bathroom were more than adequate to meet our needs. Karen on reception was very helpful and also knowledgeable about the area.

The room being 26.5° with no way of cooling it down making it impossible to sleep. Felt like we were conned by booking.com,with regards purchasing breakfast. Did not state on the website that it was grab and go, and never heard of it before. Being diabetic, and with everything containing lots of sugar meant that I went without. Never mind Toby Carvery was only a short walk up the road, and I have to say that they did an exceptional breakfast. Just meant that I paid for breakfast twice.

Close to cedar house hotel conference. Value for money. Free parking . Next door pub for dinner and breakfast. Clean, cozy cottage feel. Inclusive breakfast cheaply.

Rooms close to M62 and can be noisy. If windows are closed then no sound , however if you need fresh air to open windows at night then motorway traffic could disturb your sleep even after ear buds. Breakfast consisted of only croissants and coffee, fruits, yogurt and porridge

On arrival i was greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff. I stay at a lot of hotels and always appreciate a warm welcome which you do not get a lots of places i have stayed. i have to say that (Kelly & Shaheen, I think :) were lovely to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for them. the rooms was clean, more than adequate in size and I had no issues with it. i was also staying on the motorway side but the glazing cut the noise down to virtually zero so this made no difference. I would recommend a stay here and and the two members of staff that greeted me are excellent ambassadors for this hotel.
