I like that the keyway at the south exit is a card key entrance.

Card keys need to be tap key. And elevators need to be fixed. I've been a annual regular to this establishment for over 30 years. I helped on the total remodel, of this and multiple other Holiday Inn properties. I had the pleasure working alongside Mr. Beursken. "an amazing man". So, I know the Interiors are well constructed and up to date. Therefore, I guess my only gripe would pertain to making access to the the south entrance of the property quicker and more responsive to Hotel guests and Staff. Thank you Jason Laurita 530-988-6966

The location is very central to all downtown and old town.

It is too close to the freeway and not very well noise insulated. Also, the hotel parking is very limited + expensive and the staff can warn to not use it but use the nearby DOCO garage. I had bought the hotel parking and spent minutes trying to find a parking spot. Ultimately, I had to park in the DOCO garage. The staff promptly refunded the parking fees but would have been awesome if they had given data points for me to make a decision upfront vs trying to find parking in a very tight parking lot late at night. Pro tip: Please use the nearby garage by the city rather than the hotel parking.

Location a few blocks from train station. Close to light rail. Staff was over the top. Super courteous and professional. Room was quiet, very clean. Lots of towels. Bed was comfy. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Cost for room was excellent value. Good restaurants and shopping short walk away. Close to Golden One Center. Excellent buffet breakfast was included in rate Make sure to ask for breakfast voucher when you check in.

Do not recommend walking the neighborhood at night. A few blocks from County jail. I walked around homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks a few blocks away. Perfectly safe to walk to walk to Macy's,, mall and restaurants and Golden One Center a block away. Totally safe to walk in daylight hours.

The Holiday Inn Sacramento could not be better located. There is a bus from the airport to the street next to the hotel and the rail station is five minutes away by foot. The hotel is right next to Old Sacramento which is a cute area of perfectly preserved eighteenth century buildings now occupied by cafes and shops. My room had a large desk, great chairs and a very comfortable bed. It also had a bath. I imagine most people use the shower but it is good to have a bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I really appreciated their support.

I was a bit taken aback by the 'incidentals' charge and am still waiting for it to be refunded.

Staff was gracious, especially how they treated all guests and the water offered for the hot location was very welcomed. The room while not luxurious was very comfortable and the breakfast was also very good. The lobby with the adjoining bar was ample and people could form groups if necessary. Parking was reasonably priced with in/out privileges in the public, multistory lot. Shopping and banking also nearby. Appreciated the water conservation efforts instilled in guests.

Having free filtered water dispensers near the ice vending machine could be great so people can refill their water bottles.

PERFECT location for walking to events in Downtown Sac and/or Old Sac. My room was lovely….it was modern, sparkling clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable! Bathroom was shiny clean with towels that were thick and soft. All members of staff that I interacted with were courteous, helpful and welcoming. I didn’t get a chance to use the on-site gym, restaurant or convenience store- but it was nice to know they were available. I will definitely stay here again.

no microwaves or fridges in guest rooms; just because you offer a restraunt and bar/gift shop doesnt mean everyone needs are taken care of; whats to say someone staying has allergies to most foods offered and or needs a strict diet and now they dont have any convenient and Private means to eat their food and keep it from spoiling (especially for those who may have medicinal needs that need to he kept at a continuously cooled temp that cant be achieved in some ice filled cooler? its just inconvenient and upsetting i guess.

Great location near the Golden1 Center. Convenient parking.

Everything was pretty good but the mattress was super uncomfortable. It was an old mattress where if your partner rolls over, you go for a ride. Also you could hear everything in the next room and the noise from the street (from the 5th floor, yet), so overall it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Otherwise, the property was very nice.

The staff was friendly rooms clean. Nice sitting area.

The room was a bit small. There was a big desk chair the kept getting in our way. The frig was in and odd place due to the room being so small. The lighting was not good. A big light on desk that face the TV and not movable. I guess the size and light were not good at all. A big gap under the door. I had to place a towel down to keep the air out

Front desk staff super efficient, helpful, and friendly. Both Bell service staff that assisted us were very helpful, friendly, and helped us greatly in navigating the area to get to places we wanted to go. Hotel was centrally located to Old Town and Golden 1 and both within walking distance. Breakfast was great and wait staff friendly and great service.
