The view from the room is very nice but the one from the reception/restaurant/lobby is simply amazing! We even got to watch the aurora from there. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into the design of the entire hotel. We also really enjoyed all the little funny details around the lobby! The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was quite simple, yet fresh and tasty.

Our biggest complaint is about the lack of a kettle in the room. Asking staff for hot water (either for medicines or tea) can be uncomfortable, especially when done more than once. Even putting one "tea-station" per floor would more or less solve the issue. Also, the parking lot is quite expensive.

When we arrived, the young lady who helped us with the apps for the buses was a star, the best bit of advice we could have been offered. Staff were always very friendly. Found the gym on the 3rd day as well, lol. The bus stop was right outside the hotel with a supermarket around the corner. The views were brilliant, especially one night with the Northern lights. The bar area, although slightly expensive compared to Tromso itself, was always warm and inviting, with pool, footy and board games. A great hotel, easy to access all the activities, right next to the airport.

Thought certain things were overpriced.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and creative, breakfast was very good and the place is super clean. The view on the fjord from the reception lounge on the top floor is beyond amazing and the reason why we might come back again to Moxy. There is even a terrase to see Aurora. Lounge is very comfortable to spend time in and it is possible to order food and drinks. Hotel is located very close to Tromso city and to the airport and well connected. The plane noise was noticeable sometimes, but not disturbing for us at all, further more we also liked looking at the plaines landing and taking off from the terrace.

We loved everything about the hotel and got more than what we expected. If we have to give some feedback on this point, what we did miss was the water heater for tea in the room or slippers.

Loved the 11th floor lobby, bar, restaurant. The views were credible! There’s an outside deck where we were able to catch the Northern Lights on our first night! Love the very costumes variety be of this vast lobby. You could be as social as you’d like with others or go hide away with a book 24/7.

Had to rent a car or use Uber to get into downtown. The breakfast was the exact same very day; need more variety. The eggs and sauces were great!

Location was excellent, just minutes from the airport. The hotel is about 20 mins from the town centre but there is an excellent bus service. Also, there are 2 shopping centres close by, one of them is just a walk across the car park and it has a supermarket and 2 takeaways. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the bar was amazing as it is on the 11th floor. We were originally given a room on the 1st floor with a view of the car park and the road but they very kindly moved us up to the 6th floor and we had amazing views.

We actually couldn't make our reservation. But this Hotel went above and beyond to help. Jet Blue was 2 hours late causing us to miss our flight. SAS had a closed counter so even though we had 35 minutes to board...they couldn't as there was no one there and at 11 30 we were told by the SAS employee we found doors were closed 21 minutes before take off time so they said we were out of luck. We were also told that our ticket wasn't done properly but.ASAP travel . To date none have taken responsibility and none have given us a refund But Troxy understood. They worked with us. Booking.com and Troxy worked together to help us get a refund. It was the right thing to do but they are the only ones to understand and do that so thank you....

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. My room was really clean and comfortable, I wish I had stayed a bit longer. Safety was not an issue at all. (That is an important factor for me as I tend to travel alone). I came back late one night (think, 1:30 AM) after watching the northern lights. The doors to the hotel would not open until I used my key card. This reassured me that not anybody can just walk into the building. The location was very nice as well. It’s very close to the airport (I was able to walk to the airport on the day of my departure. If you don’t want to walk, you can also take the bus). It’s not in the center of Tromsø, but you can easily catch a public bus that will take you to the center in a few minutes. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in, and I will definitely come again.

This is a very small thing, think of it as something to improve. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, but I would have loved to have pancakes and waffles as an option. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The views from the reception/ breakfast/ bar area are really nice and everything is really modern. The staff upgraded us because it was my boyfriends birthday which was really kind of them, and they were really helpful throughout. Our room was really big with nice views and a large tv.

The AC in the room was freezing! And we couldn’t change it. The location is close to the airport and I would have preferred to be close to the center instead, it costs about £7 pp to get the bus to town one way and £16 to get a taxi. From previous reviews I didn’t realise that it wasn’t in the centre. Breakfast is OK but not worth how expensive it is. I would have liked coffee in the room.

All the staff was very nice, helpful and attentive to customers needs and requests. The location is stunning with an amazing view from the open terrace and from the reception. The rooms and the whole hotel are very clean and cosy. The hotel is located just in front of the stop of bus nr. 28 (Aislivegen) going to the city center in 8 minutes circa and just besides a shopping mall. Buses are very frequent.

The hotel is new, very well maintained and immaculately clean rooms. Nice view from the roof-top bar and cozy overall interior. Friendly and helpful staff.

I believe that for the hotel of this level and price there MUST be basic things like a teapot (and coffee machine), mini-fridge, IRON (with an ironing board ofc), and a phone (to easily call reception in case needed) in each and every room.
